Trying to wiggle free her situation only got worse by a sudden tremor. Jessica winced in pain as a piece of rubble drove further into her ankle. She wanted to scream, her ankle was calling for it, but she would keep her mouth shout. When Lunestra tumbled to her, her weapon lowered. "The shaking isn’t helping. My ankle is probably sprained, best case. Broken worst case scenario." Wincing she leaned up to use her tomahawk, using the handle to lift some rocks. "How's everyone else?" Closing her eyes as the rubble, that was digging into her ankle, was slowly being moved.

Not only was Narx in the most central area of the battle, but he was literally right beside the flashbang when it went off. It wouldn't be so bad if he had expected it, but due to being distracted with what he had just done to the dying b*****d beside him he was utterly unprepared. "What's that?"He exclaimed right before it went off. He had never seen a flashbang as far as he could remember and his innate attributes triggered. He toppled over with stiff limbs. This was the first time for him to faint. The world slowly went dark and then he was in the abyss. The bandits around him were all gone, but he was on the ground completely helpless. Soon he would likely be swarmed by the other bandits if he wasn't taken to safety. More extreme stimuli made his fainting last longer.

Ivory would be extremely disoriented as the flash bang went off. It hurt his ears. Most people would grab at the ones on the side of their head, he grabbed his feline ears. The world was turning around and around. He dropped his gun and sword. He couldn't see straight. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know what to do. He would get down closer to the ground. Unsure of where anything was.

Charlotte Aoyama
[P O S T]
Charlotte turned her head towards the sound. Something about a flash. The noise and flash then hit. Though she felt her attack hit the bandit. Though the recoil from her own attack and the flashbang caused her hand to lose grip. Her umbrella went skittering across the floor as both her hands instinctively moved to her eyes. A look of shock and horror washing over her face. Her hearing cut out entirely, Its not like she had great hearing normally. But the rigging now took ‘everything’ from her.
Charlotte fell to her knees and her aura even fell away as she could no longer focus on it. Her hands staying over her eyes and even her tail wrapped around her in a ‘protective’ method. Her breathing kicking in heavily as she seemed to gasp for air. ”Noo… She muttered. Her hands started shaking as she kept her eyes open. Only seeing white from the flash. Even if her hands where now covering her eyes. All she could think of was the men in white coats and the bright white light when she was a kid and the sharp pains that followed in her arms legs tail and even occasionally her head…

After a few minutes, Lunestra and Jessica managed to move all the debris. Afterwards, the heiress swiftly dusted her palms off -- after all, she was still a princess, and heavily resented having dirty hands. Her hands were stained in a new way now, though -- in a way that she will likely never be able to forget. But, she needed to let everything go right now. She needed to focus on making sure these get out of here. At this point, things have gotten too out of hand -- the only rational execution is immediate exfiltration. If one of them goes down due to this incident -- caused by her -- then they would have less numbers to save their classmate.
She just wished it didn't have to be that way. She wished that they could continue, but at this point, she was certain everyone was enervated. Lunestra herself felt very exhausted as well, and she was certain that her Aura would dissipate soon if she isn't careful. However, she couldn't afford to have Jessica with a potential sprained, or even broken, ankle. So, the heiress gracefully materialized a healing glyph the size of her palm, and set it against Jessica's ankle to begin the healing procedure.
"I'm. . . Honestly not sure," She admitted, after a slight pause. "Everything is. . . Foggy. That flash bang. . . It was headed straight at me, and I reacted so quickly. But not quick enough. It exploded, because of me . . . Everyone is practically down because of me, and the rhino Faunus went on a tantrum and created another hole much like this one. . . But I don't really know how everyone is, or if they're all even alive." Exhaling, Lunestra tried to push such thoughts of her mind. She allowed the glyph to do its work, but Jessica's ankle would likely not be totally healed -- the pain would be far, far lessened, at least. After a minute or two, the glyph would shatter after final use. "We should get out of this hole and scout the area. It's the only way we'll know. Honestly, everything is such a mess. . . I don't know what we can do now. I heard something from deep within the storage sector. . . A very familiar tune, a banging on one of the storage units. . . Perhaps it may be our teammate, or one of our classmates." Lunestra rose, and spread her wings. She extended her hand, as if asking Jessica to fly with her.

After hearing about what happened when the Flashbang went off, Jessica felt guilty. Guilty on the fact it was her idea for them to be used. When the glyph was all done she moved her ankle, wincing a little as she felt some pain. "We need to get up there then. My ankle will be sore, thank you for the heal though." Taking Lunestra's hand as they got out of the hole. Upon being let go she could see what had happened to everyone. Some people looked fine and others, who were closer, were still feeling it's effects. Looking to Lunestra she gave a nod. "Let's be quick. Find the person and then start pulling back."
There was a loud crash and the sound of clattering stones as Tessa leaped from the base of the sinkhole she'd created and clambered up the side here she'd landed to street level once again. Her eyes still hurt but were slowly beginning to function again , her ears however were still ringing, though she only needed her sight to notice the vague shape of one of her teammates being slowly approached by cautious looking enemies , and frankly that's all she needed to get back into the fight.
There was another brief tremor as Tessa's semblance was activated again, and then several moments of silence before one of the three approaching Narx was slammed into the ground by the 200+ pound faunus. For a brief moment where was a sound like bubble wrap being stomped on by a rather angry person wearing boots as bones broke from the impact, then a scream as Tessa grabbed the other two, growling as she lifted them by the arm and swung them violently around, slamming them into whatever was nearby. Eventually the faunus threw one of the bandits off to the side where he crumpled in a heap in the street, while she held the one still conscious up to her face, far too pained to even make a fist and swing at the girl. She glared at him for a moment , then with an uncharacteristic smirk she raised him a little higher, deactivated the gauntlet on her free hand, and punched him hard in the absolute worst place for a man to take a hit.
"Are you well?" Tessa dropped to a knee and gave Narx a few experimental pokes after dropping the last of the would be attackers, he'd frozen up again, not good but she knew at least one method that seemed to snap him out of his fainting goat spell. With a smile she lifted her teammate and hugged him tightly, burying his face in her chest while she rocked him back and forth.

Danaë wandered her way surprisingly to the storage unit that held Donnally. She had been as silent as she could, her heels barely making any noise. She would go up, and shoot the two guards that were protecting the entrance of the unit. They still hadn't made off with him. With the mess that they left out their, they sure would hear some hootin' and hollerin.' Oh, then there was the fact that she had probably outright killed that person. The idea of the kill sent shivers down her spine. She would continue to move around the box, in cover, trying to kill the bandits around the cage where he was being held.

The streets of vale were as cold as ice. By the time the students arrived it was nearly morning, but still too early for any citizens to be up and about. The area assigned to this group consisted of an industrial storage area, a city park, and a small neighborhood. The group was too inspect the area as thoroughly as possible for any signs of the missing persons or the possible perpetrators.
╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ While everyone on the field was still recovering from the flash, an aircraft flew into the middle of the scene, out of it jumped several bandits who collected their fellow bandits - both dead and alive. As they dragged them onto the aircraft, it was evident that both sides had had enough and so they left it at that. The aircraft disappeared into the distance, the bandits with it, along with the captive who now had a brown sack over his head - they had sussed out how smart this one was, and weren't going to risk anything.
As the dust settled, the group of students were left to recover, be it on the ground or standing up. A universal mail was sent to their scrolls, informing them that an aircraft and medics were on their way to bring them back to the school and heal their wounds.
One thing stick remained however, the putrid smell in the air. It seemed to dull down now that the bandits had gone, but was still enough to sting the nostrils. Where had they come from, where had they taken the captive... What was next for the students?
For now, it was time for them to recover and make haste to the gym to discuss their findings. ╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Just as the two were about to get to Ivory, and proceed to look for one of their missing classmates, Lunestra felt something familiar -- wind. Her head snapped in the direction of the wide-breadth buzzing aircraft as it descended and swiftly collected any and all bandits, leaving no prisoners. Blinking, Lunestra wondered if it was alright to let them retreat like this. . . But there was nothing they could do. She felt rage build within her at the fact that their classmate was so close, yet so far, away from them at this point -- and there was nothing they could do now to rescue them until they find these ingrates again.
Clearly, whatever resources these sordid excuses for 'people' were tantamount to a larger organization. . . And Lunestra worried about this, as evident to the small dip in her heart-rate. This was becoming much larger than necessary.
Soon, she received an alert on her Scroll and she knew it was time to go. Another aircraft arrived shortly after, and she felt defeated. All they managed to cause was a major mess, and Lunestra almost killed herself and the others due to a hairline moment. . . It was extremely embarrassing, but dwelling on it wasn't going to do anyone much good. For now, all she could do was walk forward.
Literally.
"I suppose all we can do is report our findings," She told Jessica, presumably walking with her and then linking up with Ivory somewhere along the way. "I know exactly what I heard, and this stench honestly seems.. . Almost like a Semblance of some sort. Which is to say, it's meant to mask something." Nodding to herself, she felt as if her theory was correct. Even so, it was time to go, and they could no longer investigate further. There was likely not much else to find.
She boarded the aircraft, presumably along with her team, and they were headed back to school. She had a bone to pick with a certain headmaster, that much was certain.

From out of nowhere Tessa appeared and saved Narx from being slashed and bludgeoned to death by the bandits. As if in response to it all a massive airship arrived and the bandits retreated with their prize. Overall the bandits had taken a beating, but they still won as they escaped with the kidnapped student. "W-We failed..."He stammered as well as he could through the fabric his face was being rubbed against. He didn't want to think of the warmth and where it came from. The last thing he wanted was to be blushing when he finally came to.Slowly his muscles relaxed, but the more they relaxed the more sore he felt. He hadn't worked out so much in a while. His fighting was pitiful at best. He ran like a fool into the fray and got himself surrounded. He could definitely tank those bandits if he had done it right, but he had used zero strategy in this fight other than finding Ivory to team up with temporarily. He wanted to tell Tessa she should let go, but he almost didn't want to embrace the reality of their failure. When she finally did. He stood there with slumped shoulders for a long while. What a failure. all of it. Himself especially. He stood next to Tessa in solemn silence.

Cursing under her breath Jessica fell to knees. It was a failure, and she felt part of the blame. She just watched as everyone else was either carried or escorted away. When the hand of a medic touched her she spun and landed a hook right into his jaw. A look of anger and guilt in her eyes. She felt like Atlas over again, failing to get what mattered most back. Shrugging off everyone she looked to the school and began to limp. Slowly making her way to back to the school.
Ivory would look up. His sight clearing but the foul smell still being there. His ears were still ringing. He didn't know what was wrong with them. He would rub his ears, before grabbing his weapon and sheathing it. He didn't see the Bandits anymore. They must have left. He wondered if his shot had hit him, but that didn't mean anything at this point. He looked at his scroll, and saw that a helecoptor was coming for them. Along with Medics. He hadn't seen his team in a while. He wasn't a bad pack mate by not being right next to them right? His ears flattened in sadness.
He would walk up to the Helicopter and sit down next to Lunestra and Jessica. Had they failed?

Danaë finally took out the guards in front. She heard helicopters outside. She had to work quickly, she wasn't going to let Donally get taken by them. She would rather have her feathers ripped out. She would shoot the lock, and go in. She would see him, nearly naked. He looked cold, and unfortunately she didn't have anything to put on him. She would activate her semblance, covering them in quiet and then would help guide him out of the box. He would see people coming in as there was chaos. They were picking up men. They seemed to leave without the box that he was in. She would signal to him to be quiet as she pulled out her Scroll. She would message Tessa and Narx. "I have him. I'm going to need help though." Any movements that they made would be silenced, but she didn't know how long she could hold it this time..
Feeling my way through the darkness Guided by a beating heart I can't tell where the journey will end But I know where to start They tell me I'm too young to understand They say I'm caught up in a dream Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes Well that's fine by me
Level 0 First Year Team DAND Deer Faunus
Donnelly Erlking
Through the tap-tap-tapping of his antler, Donnelly heard a ruckus outside. Helicopters, screams, the sound of a scuffle. It was weird... What could be happening out there? The idea that someone would come to rescue him was something he found kind of hard to believe. I mean, besides his sister, who actually cared about him? He supposed that if someone came to his rescue, it could always be out of obligation...
Still, even with the thought of obligation as a reason, he was surprised when the feathered Faunus appeared before him. He was nude, due to having been sleeping in the buff when the bandits took him, but he honestly didn't care if anyone saw him starkers. She managed to help him, still bound, to somewhere the bandits wouldn't see them as they worked to move the boxes, including the one the deer Faunus had been in. She seemed to cover them in some kind of Semblance that muffled sound.
Danae would see it, though. Without his ever-present cloak, she could see it clearly. Scars. All across his jawline, all across his chin, covering every inch of his neck, marring his shoulders and collarbone, and absolutely peppering his back. Possibly over a hundred scars, all covering what his cloak would normally cover. The cloak that Donnelly wore even when he was in his school uniform... the cloak to hide the sins of his mother, his abuse...
The taciturn deer Faunus spoke, his words carrying a bit more emotion that the stoic young man normally showed. "...promise you won't tell anyone?"
As if to punctuate this request, Donnelly touched his antler to the owl Faunus, activating his own Semblance, Aura Medic. Danae was no doubt low on Aura and tired after whatever rescue operation she'd undergone, and a brown glow went from the deer Faunus to his savior, refilling her Aura with his own and even easing her weariness. It was... really the least he could do.
I tried carrying the weight of the world But I only have two hands Hope I get the chance to travel the world But I don't have any plans Wish that I could stay forever this young Not afraid to close my eyes Life's a game made for everyone And love is the prize
