Another security officer eyed him warily when he approached but recuffed him and shoved him to another person. "Follow her " he said sharply as the other person started to lead Zaku back.

Inside the room the room everything had been cleaned up the only thing hinting at what had been there before where two bunches of feathers piled on the counter. "Hold your hands out" the other person warned ready to tie him back to the chains. "Every morning you will be picked up and lead back there for training" she explained. "Any problems to anyone and you understand the consequences . You have 9 of those chances left "

As she finished setting Zaku up the last thing she did was turn on TV and for a moment Tri could be seen kneeling with his one hand pulled to the air as he tried to hide under his other wings. It was silent in his room and much smaller without a sliding door. It looked like he was asleep except for the slight hitch sound of pain.

The person quickly changed the channel then stopped at a channel with a Norcrest logo. "He wants you to watch all of these at least once " she informed him with a neutral stare before leaving and taking the controller with her. This time the door was shut tight followed by a jingle.

Everything was silent inside and without, there was no one on the other side of the sliding door but his chain saw were loose enough that he might be able to go there and open it then take a step or two outside. The drawers around the lab were also seemingly unlocked.

The Norcrest logo and a stag were quickly replaced by a Haven video dated around 14 years before. It showed a child archangel meta crying as he tried to work on a circuitboard, every now and then dabbing the board to dry the tears that kept falling on it until he finally gave up.

Clutching his tool in hand he dropped his head in the cradle of his arms right beside the work station, as soft muffled sob emitted from from him as he tried to make himself smaller. Even the small ornament growing from the side of his head was dim to the point that it could barely be seen. The video stayed that way for a few seconds before someone else came into the shot. A man dressed in a Norcrest military uniform who watched the meta for a bit then pausing to see what he had been working in.

"...This beloopngs to the helmet vision system...Mara lets you work on this?" There was a hint of disapproval as he looked to the child. A younger version of Trisuri jerked and looked up in a panic as he stared at the person then the board and back. "N-no. I took it...I wanted to look what was inside" he said quickly, wiping his tears away with the back of his sleeve as he stood quickly, fearful.

"...So you have interest in this" the officer asked without trying to calm him down, just staring at the board then back. "Well you are not authorized ...but " he watched the child droop his wings and look crestfallen. "We could make you official. We could do more then that..Mara is busy. You both have a vacation in a few days right? "

Trisuri looked confused then away as he shifted his bottom wings. "It's no... we were going to go see the snow but then Amet- Ame died. Mara said we weren't going there we are....leave of absence?" He said quietly, trying very hard not to keep on crying not in front of this person but still a sniffle or two still came out.

"Ah right..well. We could make what your doing official and you can help Mara in Ametrine's place. " he paused to see the flicker of interest in the child's eyes before he continued. "We could do more then that...we could make you stronger, strong enough to get rid of the people who killed Ametrine and nearly Mara. " he watched as the interest increased but was accompanied by hesitation. "It was the EE, the top group of the Renegades. Kira is the one who killed Ametrine but it is all the EE and their leader Zaku that made the call to attack that place. " there was a flicker of a frown as the child didn't say yes immediately. "You will have revenge...and Mara will have an ally. She can't run SIU and take care of a child at the same time. "

Trisuri kept staring at the ground listening, his wings completely drooping to the floor as he realize he was only going out be a burden now. "Ame said that revenge is bad " he said quietly, trying to grasp on to those words.

The offer stared at him and said nothing for a bit "That is true " he said carefully. "So think of it that you are helping people who could potentially be killed like Ametrine when the EE attack. If the EE is no more no one will have to feel the sadness of losing someone before their time to people like them. You can help "

Tri looked up, the trail of a few tears could be seen where he had failed to hold them in check but now was trying to bravely face him without crying. "I...I can help Mara? I can ..protect? " he said quietly. "I don't want to be a burden....mommy used to tell me I was. Then they left me and Mara found me. Mara never told me that even when she was annoyed.. " he said quietly never noticing the faint smirk of the officer as he gained a victory.

"You won't be, you will be very useful. Why don't you go and talk about it with Mara. Don't mention me, that way when we come it will be a surprise to her and she will agree without being a b- troublesome"

Trisuri sniffles slightly and nodded, looking back toward the board but not moving to it now. "I'll go ask " he tried to smile but it wavered and fell again before he turned away and headed to find Mara. The officer turned to were the person was recording the whole thing. "Did you get it? " someone's must have nodded because he looked at the camera. "First step of experiment Dark Loyalty code: DL001. All files connected to Trisuri will be handled by Norcrest Military in connection with Simco, all mentions of Trisuri will be under code name Dark Angel. All mentions of SIU will be Duality. End. "

The video shut off and there was silence before a new vidio appeared with the symbol for Spectrum that showed Hexxis under a Code Ash rampage then another video with Haven symbol and Silver's experimentation.

After the video with Silver ended there were 5 minutes of silence before it all began to repeat again. Outside of that everything was eerily silent, even the ghosts were still as if frozen. Light still entered from outside as if it were still light but the block said it was nearly 10 pm.

Everything continued the way it was until there was a soft jingling at the door, one that got stronger until it sounded like someone was trying to rip the handle out of the mechanism before it stopped abruptly. There were no footsteps leaving the door but as the pulling finished the pounding started on the glass door. It was a child like meta with a mouth so wide and large that it seem to take up half their face. The shape of their eyes look like a rectangle as she pounded at the door and giggled that turned into an oddly shrieking laugh.

A wickedly clawed hand left and very very carefully tapped against the glass, grinning, grinning all the while. It turned and grasp the handle and pulled, pulling it open just an inch before it was stopped by an inside pin that Zaku could take out easily."Wonder what your blood tastes like, is it warm, is it cold I see it sweet for evermore?"

" she said opening her mouth slightly and looking at his arm.

She threw her heard back and laughed before leaping forward to take a bite and scurry back to grin. "Quite a silly thing to ask, what is in a tiger maw you ask? " she tilted head her slightly. "I am your jailer I am the one, who will cut you down when you try to run. There are rule that I do not like, every step from that room makes you lose more life. " she licked her lips. The girl blinked as if caught by surprise, she had expecting him to keep on talking only to back down. "Dance to the song of another person's beat. You know yourself like a lion knows a worm" she said and disappeared, one moment she was there the next there was only the faint wind of her passing.

Other than for the videos on repeat a very heavy sound started up nearby, like a large machine working on high, loud enough to bother anyone asleep in the rooms near it. Nothing else happened until the next morning when the door jingled again and Calisa entered the room warily. "Breakfast?" she asked hopefully.

Calise shook her head but she looked a little queasy as if he stomach bothered her. Zaku was not the only one who didn't want to eat yesterday and she was still suffering the effects. "Nu uh...no one said anything this time" she said closing the door behind her and pushing the cart up to him again. She took out a remote control from a drawer will with four others. With a practice movement she shut off the TV and left the control near the counter before pushing the cart all the way to Zaku this time.

She looked nervous as she took in the blood and wound on Zaku's arm, the broken finger and the deeply sad look on his face. "I can give you a pill for the pain...that's the only thing they let me give that isn't the food" she said quietly. "I think they will bandage the wound when you go for training " she looked away and busied herself pulling out some orange juice. This time she didn't offer a choice as she pulled out a plate with eggs and fruit and put them on top of cart then watched nervously.
