Aedus sat on the bus with Niamh as the trip went on and their conversation ended, he watched her fall asleep and he was tempted to let her lay on his shoulder rather than the window, but he was too nervous to try. So he laid his head back to go to sleep himself. When they arrived Aedus accepted the water and things from the chaperone and listened to Niamh. Aedus was already wondering about the familiars, but it had been a long trip. "Yea it is, ready to go find a room??" Aedus asked Niamh. He wondered if they would be in a room together or apart.

Coco had quickly fallen asleep since she hadn't managed to find someone to talk to on the bus alone with her thoughts and her strange dreams that were very weird and dark. Coco needed to do some new paintings when she got home from this trip. She woke up when they arrived she got off the bus and got her water and other things. Then she looked around to see if anyone needed a roommate. Coco didn't want to be in a room by herself if she could help it. "Ummm does anyone need a roommate??" She asked the others in the group.
On the bus, Ophelia turned as a couple of other juniors came up to her. One looked like he might be a mutant, which was pretty cool. She fluttered her wings a bit and gave the one who'd spoken a smile. "I'm Ophelia," she answered. He was kinda cute. They both were. She scooted to give him room to sit and had a very good time flirting with him during the ride. The movement of the bus eventually lulled her to sleep, her head falling on Liath's shoulder.
She woke when the bus came to a stop at the lodge. "Oh man," she giggled a little, "Sorry I fell asleep on you like that!" she said with a smile. Waiting for the majority of Nightmares to get precede her off the bus, Ophelia kept her wings as close as she could get to her body to avoid bumping them into others. "Hey, you two wanna room together?" she asked of the Goblin who had kept her company on the ride.

Nyrili tried to ignore it when the Fey she had a crush on started flirting with a Goblin. It wasn't hard as the motion of the bus soothed her into sleep. When she woke up, she was one of the last ones off the bus but it didn't take long for her to find Ophelia's distinctive wings. Well. It was now or never. A deep breath and the Naga gathered her courage to approach the Fey and her two new friends. "U-um hi....d-do you...I mean...is it okay..." she stuttered before taking another breath and spitting it all out at once. "C-can I room with you guys, t-too?" she asked hopefully.
K Sue raised her hand in the air. She hadn't been able to find a roomy yet. Will she was nerves all get out, she didn't want to end up by herself for this trip. "I need a roommate." she voiced quietly. Walking over to the girl that call out she notices paint on her outfit. Maybe she like doing art too. K Sue thinks to herself. K Sue waited quietly to see if this girl would like to room with her as well.

Coco smiled at the freshling and said "Hi, my name is Coco, what's your name?" Then Coco looked around seeing if there were any other freshlings that might want to share a room with them. Coco liked freshlings a great deal she hoped to have a few little ones with Calie when she graduated from the academy if Calypso still loved her even with what had happened to Coco. Not that it had been Coco's fault or maybe it had been. Coco shook her head as her thoughts wandered away from her and the little freshling that needed a room mate to. "Maybe we can find some other freshlings who need room mates too??" Coco asked the freshling.
Aurora went to sleep on the bus after she finished her notes, once they arrived at the lodge Aurora got off the bus to help hand out water bottles and other supplies to the students. She stayed outside for a while looking at the surrounding area while they got all the students settled. Then she would go find a room for herself so she could go clean up and rest in a bed rather than in a bus seat. She looked around to see if there was anyone else who might need a roommate, though she had never minded sleeping by herself.

K Sue smiled happily that Coco happy she didn't sent her away. "Hello, my name is Kayla Sue but you can call me K Sue if you like. I answer to both really." Stopping suddenly she realizes that she was babbling with excitement. She had a bad habited of doing that sometimes. Hanging her head a little, still smiling happily she quietly saying "Yes that would be great. The more the better." This was going to be so much fun K Sue knew it deep down. Readjusting her bag K Sue make sure she has everything she came with. Wanting to check on her teddy she swings her bag to the front of her and unzips her bag. Looking deep inside her teddy is still there and ok. Not wanting people to see her teddy she zips her bag back up. Swinging her bag back to her back she started to look around to see if anyone else needed a roomy.
(for sure sounds great)

Amber had been practically vibrating with excitement in the seat next to her mother, nose pressed against the window and watching all the scenery as it passed by. From time to time she would turn to Topaz, face alight, to point out something interesting she had seen in the distance. Topaz would smile and admire the scenery with her, then turn her attention back to the rest of the students on the bus. She was supposed to be chaperoning, after all! Things stayed pretty quiet. Most of the students either drifted off to sleep or talked amongst themselves with excitement similar to Amber's. From time to time she would turn her head to look in the seat behind her where her oldest daughter sat, and smiled. Quartz had her face to the window as well, though her attention frequently flashed to the sketchbook sitting in her lap. It seemed Quartz was more interested in scenery than sleep or chatting, though the two would catch each other's eyes occasionally and exchanged smiles. The whole group was quite excited to be able to take this trip as a family. It wasn't just them either. Though Topaz had hired a sitter to look after the majority of their familiars, her coatl, Sneak, lay curled in her lap, while Quartz's coatl, Rose, was draped over her shoulders. Since both familiars came from this environment they'd thought it safe to bring them along.
The bus finally reached its destination and the whole group piled out. Amber immediately latched on to Quartz's hand and dragged her off to look at the cabins and explore a bit. Topaz smiled, Sneak now draped over her shoulders, but stood back to supervise the unpacking and watching the other students pick out cabins of their own. She, Quartz, and Amber were all going to share a cabin, but if it looked like there was an odd student out they were more than welcome to room with them.
(( Just tossed everybody in one post. Sorry if I'm kinda scarce this week, or next, lots going on. If anyone wants to start up a dialogue with any of my characters though I'm checking in every day, just quote me! Also having my three characters share a cabin, but there's an empty bunk available if anyone wants to join the group! ))

Arthur laughed at Thomas' inquiry about the coffee. "As a professor you think I would, but I only have this cup." For a moment it seemed Arthur had his own naive moment but then he blushed slightly as a possible other interpretation dawned on him. "Wait, did you mean from my cup? I mean, I don't mind..." He sighed wistfully then, remembering Thomas' other comment. "Now you've got my mind on the idea of pastries. Such a tease."
Arthur nodded as they shook hands. "Fair enough, Tommy, but introductions are manners." He smiled at Iron while he introduced himself, taking note that he also felt that way.
The conversation continued with ease but eventually Arthur's weary brain felt too exhausted. He excused a few yawns before he finally allowed the conversation to dip. It was then that Arthur pulled out his tablet and started reading a new fiction novel written by a Neko. He enjoyed knowing that some of the world the author created was based on the Swirling Sands, the desert he would soon be visiting!
At the first stop Arthur got a packaged pastry and showed Thomas as it was his fault he was craving one. The pastry was consumed quickly after the group was ushered back on the bus. Arthur had been so hooked by his book that he was reading it even while eating his pastry. (Something he normally never did for fear of dirtying a book.) In fact, other than an unplanned nap and the occasional polite conversation with anyone that chose to talk to him during breaks, Arthur had his nose pointed at his tablet.
Thus the twelve hour drive went by rather quickly for the demon. Suddenly he found himself being told they had arrived. "Great," Arthur said happily. He turned to his seat mate who was already offering the idea of being roommates. "That sounds like a good plan to me." Arthur looked over at Thomas to see what the Naga's reply would be.
Bag: a tablet that has a bazillion books on it, some of which are history related, a notebook and a writing utensil
Since Enomu was fine, and she was fine, Kanda didn’t pull out her snacks. They could have some later. So she nodded and let her bag sit on the floor, careful not to drop it. Pulling her notebook back to where she could write on it, she scribbled down her answers to his question.
”My papa goes to the universh, univars-, the other school. He thought it would be fun for us to go on a trip!” There were a few instances where the word was scribbled out because she couldn’t figure out how to spell it, but she got her point across. “Since your from the desert, can you tell me what it’s like? Its hot, right? And has lots of sand? How do you stand how hot it gets? Do you have a lot of friends there? How long have you been at the Academy? Do you have a lot of friends there? I've made alot more than I had before, ever since I came to the academy.” She continued for quite a few more sentences past where she had thought she would stop, but questions kept popping into her head. When she slid the paper towards Enomu, she didn’t look the slightest bit sheepish about the amount she had asked. Both her tails swished back and forth in excitement and there was an expectant gleam in her eyes. Ever since she had been adopted by Vüsala, she’d begun asking more questions. The orphanage had been ok, but she much preferred where she lived now. She could ask as many questions as she wanted.

Sitting stiffly upright in her seat in shock, Anu waited until the last student got off the bus before making a seat-check after slinging her carry-on bag over her shoulder. With Saiya padding along behind her, she scooped up a few stray items here and there before disembarking to grab the rest of her luggage. Most of the things she found were discarded food wrappers, but one or two seemed to be of value so these she turned in to one of the teacher chaperones before heading off to find Su. She was mortified by what she'd done on the bus and felt the need to apologize. Sniffing the dry air, she caught his scent and went over to the cabin he must be in.
Hesitating, she held her hand up to knock and took a deep breath before quickly rapping on the door. Get this over with before I chicken out... Saiya stood right beside Anu, scoping out their new surroundings and ready to alert their Grimm should the need arise.

Aben had been lucky enough to get a seat all to himself on the bus. It was great because he could stretch his wings out every so often without risking bumping into someone. He had managed to fall asleep for the majority of the ride, awoken by the jerk of the bus stopping at their destination.
Aben didn't know anyone on the bus and piped up when a chaperon was asking for roommates. "Me!" Aben said a little louder then he had liked. "I need a roommate," he said quieter this time, grabbing is bag and shuffling closer to the chaperon and other freshling hoping he'd be allowed to stay with them. The academy surely wouldn't make him stay alone.

Coco called out to the little fallen "We have room for another in our cabin." Coco said "Come on let's get a few key cards for our cabin and go settle in unless you two would like to go explore the lodge or something?" Coco looked around at the cute little cabins and the lodge wondering what was there. She intended to let the freshlings decide though. She didn't want to boss anyone around since that went against Coco's nature. Coco pulled out her paintbrush and started fiddling with it in a nervous fashion. Thinking about her next painting.
Aurora noticed the other grimm students that were on the trip, but Aurora had never been all that comfortable with her own kind. She didn't grow up with a pack, nor was she part of the cache that had been fought over when the sleeping tribe had arrived. Aurora also had never really had much of a family. So she didn't know how to deal with grimms in general. So she didn't seek them out. Aurora stayed by the bus helping to hand our key cards for the cabins, and water and salve for those who needed it to set damp in this dry environment.
