Keionx took the target. She could hear the sounds of her teammate's lasers going off, vests being shut off one by one. She ignored it and kept going, and going, and going - not looking back, not moving, just taking shot after shot and getting point after point... until the timer finally ran out.

"s**t." she cursed under her breath, pleased at the last minute scoring. She hoped that it was enough to win. She hoped that it hadn't been monumentally stupid of her to do that. She hoped...
She wasn't quite sure.

Panili pushed one of her voluminous pigtails behind a shoulder and laced her fingers behind her back. Around them, trolls came and went. The cheer of the event and the innocent fun of the booth was lost on Panili. It was what it meant that mattered, after all.

“Defense against terror is different than brutishness. Prioritizing conquest when the planet is at its most vulnerable seems like a deathwish to me.” Panili quipped. She shrugged, closing one eye as a vague staticky vision blurred out her sight. “Either way, our biggest threats are ourselves and the whims of an undersea horror, and I was hoping there was more depth to your tactics in the forward momentum of Alternia. Your goals are short-sighted and simplistic and you’re playing into a stereotype.”

Deimos suited up as part of the green team again and headed into the arena. He didn't get very far before getting thwacked in the face by a fellow green team member's gun, though. Grumbling he rubbed at his head as he scurried down a passage way in the opposite direction they were heading in. What a drag.

Somehow, Deimos had managed to come across the entire pink team during a meeting. Perhaps they were a group of friends- or maybe they just all had similar playing styles that required organization. Either way, one thing was certain: they were all grouped together, and had no idea that he was there. He probably only had a few seconds to decide what to do. Quickly he looked around at his surroundings, taking stock of what he could use to his advantage.

The pink base had a ledge toward the top of the arena that he could run along- he just had to get up there. As nimbly as possible, Deimos scaled the structures to get to the top, careful to remain unseen. Once at the top, he steadied himself, and then aimed at the group below. He then opened fire. He only got two shots in before they noticed they were being fired on, but didn't immediately spot him. Seizing the opportunity, he darted along the ledge and kept firing, managing to hit most of the group before he ran out of ledge to use. By that time, they'd figured out where he was.

The end of the ledge tapered down like a slide, so he plopped down on his rear and slid down, still firing at the group until he disappeared behind another structure. Between the disorientation and his constant moving, they hadn't managed to land a single shot. Dei took off running to another part of the arena feeling absolutely elated.

The pink team had spread out- and Dei was feeling pretty elated still. But he could do even better he was sure. He popped open his energy drink and chugged it. The caffeine explosion was almost immediate. He took off running- faster than he'd ever really run before in his life, doing some sweet tricks off of the arena structures to land shots on passing pink team players or dummies as he passed by. Sadly this was the end of his match- he still felt like he could keep going!! He'd just have to come back the next night to finish what he'd started.

Keionx returned to the laser tag rink, finding that the layout had been changed up a little. Split from the team, she found a catwalk... and several members of the pink team. She smirked and... zoomed them to their destruction, apparently.

It seemed that the energy drinks sold at this place were a little too... much.

Someone had beaten her high score - Keionx could see it on the dully glowing scoreboard. Someone had gotten a monumentally high score - several someones.

Keionx raised her gun and shot it. And again. Later, she would blame the tantrum and sudden competitive fury on the energy drink being not good for her carefully tuned body.

Then she was actively hunting the scoreboard, stalking it, shooting it, literally searching for things to throw at it. At the time, though, nothing was rational. That high score WOULD BE HERS.

"Not in my arena. came the voice over the intercom. Keionx snapped out of it and hurried off towards the other team in shame. That had been... very un-heroic.

But apparently, her energy drink rage was not over. When a teammate shoved her on pure accident in their desire to get to THE best headshotting spot, it flash-started inside her like a wildfire.

What happened in the moment was fairly blurry - Keionx didn't remember much beyond assaulting the other troll and working them over a little. Very unheroic thoughts and feelings coursed through her, and suddenly, somehow, everything ******** in her life was that trolls fault, that trolls's doing.

"NOT in MY arena!" came the voice. Keionx snapped out of it again, unhanding the other troll as the timer went out. For a moment after the game ended, Keionx stood there, looking at her hands, stunned. She was capable of some very bad things.

As she left, she side-eyed the energy drinks - NEVER AGAIN.

And the day had started out so good too.

After spending so long in his hive wracking his brain for a way to answer that stupid, purple blood's letter, Hazmas had finally thought of something to put in his reply. Then he'd heard about bloodfest - a little late, but he'd still heard about it! Of course he'd come when he heard about it. After all, he still had the jacket from his last bloodfest adventure.

However, this one was turning out a lot rougher than that one.

Not really stopping to see if anyone he knew was around, Hazmas had thought it a good idea to enter a game where he'd seen dozens of older trolls enter and play. Frankly, he thought with his small size, he'd have the advantage. But after getting quite a few, the taller groups began to really swarm the place, forcing Hazmas to move position.

'I gotta go around them," he thought and tried to sneak by without them noticing. However, it was all in vain and soon the other team was hot on his tracks. In an attempt to lose them, Hazmas made a few turns. But as he looked back to see if he was being followed, the young troll ran smack-dab into one of the walls, knocking himself unconscious.

It was an embarrassment; laying their sprawled out on the floor, sniffnode bleeding, while the enemy was taking potshots and alternating stepping on him between them. If the greenblood had been conscious, he probably would've done something about it. But as it was, Hazmas was just going to have to deal with this when he finally woke up again.
