He had heard different converstaions over the headset again, and, finally reached the entrance of the cave. Sy was certain that everyone had pretty much gone in already. He checked his watch to make sure he was at the right place. < Oooo the darknesss, let's go in Master Sy. > "Ok let's go help out," and with much haste, he put on the goggles and walked in, walking near the leftest area where one of the members had pointed out. < Ooo this is exciting! I could hear voices. They;re not far away now. Maybe you could catch up to them, Master. > Yes, maybe they're just ahead. Sy didn't respond out loud, he didn't want to cause too much noise as he walked. ------- [ ROLL a 3: THE TUNNELS] The stairs seem to never end, the only intersections in between large dark rooms that are nearly unidentifiable. They are tiny, and stepping into them yields hundreds, thousands of insects that crawl all directions. The insects glow in the dark, leaving a trail into deeper tunnels. Following them leads into a maze-like network that anyone can easily get lost in. There is a horrific smell coming from deep within the maze and then a strange clicking noise. All your senses tell you not to go further, and you faintly hear someone saying "hello" in the distance over and over. ------- Sy was glad that his partner was so encouraging and so brave. He walked down the corridors, barely being able to see, and was certain that his hands brushed past a few insects that were resting on the cold damp walls. The bugs illuminated a path for him to follow, but the boy felt rather uneasy about it. Almost as if they were leading him into a trap. Like the the mother of all insects, a scene from many horror movies. The victim ends up getting eaten alive... The stench that trickled into his nostrils was rather rancid. And the clicking.. wow did they sound like a giant spidermonster now. The Moon Hunter swallowed hard and pressed on. In his mind, it sounded absurd to go further but he couldn't help but wonder what's up ahead. "Has anyone visited one of the tunnels yet?" he called out into his headset. Sy put two fingers onto his black hairclip. He was nervous, too nervous to find out what's up ahead. If he needed to fight, he could try to summon Ia. Or...run out of there as fast as his two legs could carry him.

Silence from the caves, and then- "Okay. Follow me!"
There was a faint green glow coming from one of the tunnels that started to move further away from Shu. "What are you even going on about," Mark replied, confused at Kai. "Please tell me you haven't gone crazy already, we just started looking. Look, if you hear any voices, it's probably just your imagination, and just ignore them, and like you will be perfectly fine." "Yeah, please don't touch anything," the Death assistant repeated on the headset to Joy. "Look, if you're thirsty, you have water bottles right? You can drink those instead."
Upon closer inspection, there indeed were things squirming under the fruits. Shery's ears were beginning to ring now as specks in the corner of her vision began to turn white. She was beginning to feel really bad. It may been just a good idea to lay down.
As she did, two hands would crawl out of nowhere and slowly try to strangle her. They did look like human hands, though whether or not they were Hunter ones was up in the air. GrnGriff Quote: It was too bad Sy couldn't hear Mark shrug through the headset. "I dunno," he finally said after a pause, "do you see anyone down there?" Another pause. "Err, if you start hearing voices or wanting to touch things you probably shouldn't do either. Just like, drink your water bottle or something."
The tunnels were still fantastically dark, but at the end of one of them, Sy could make out the outline of a person, just briefly, before they disappeared.

THE TUNNELSAfter a few minutes of walking around curiously Harper managed to realize that the somewhat hissing tent was the cave entrance that Liam and the others had mentioned over the radio. She hesitated for a moment her eyes watching the various bugs crawl over before quickly shuffling her way in avoiding touching them as best she could. It wasn’t that bugs creeped her out it was just the thought of so many crawling all over didn’t seem all that appealing and she couldn’t get the image of the guy being eaten alive from the Mummy movie. Following a few others it didn’t take Harper long to find herself lost along among the various corridors of stairs and it didn’t help with the lack of light in most of the rooms giving a dark ominous presences. Instead she stuck to the path, giving a faint cringe every time she stepped on a few bugs that had wandered to far away from the small dark rooms, Harper tried not to think of how many were there hiding in the darkness and how long would they decide to leave and if they would just crawl or fly away in her direction. After an hour or more, it was hard to tell she round herself deeper facing a larger maze like network, she wrinkled her nose at the smell staring into the darkness. She stood there letting the haunting feeling of the dark sweep over as swearing she could hear something. A voice? Maybe it was just more bugs?

"Hey, um...I'm in a tunnel?" It's a voice some may recognize as belonging to Death Hunter. Fred? Ferris? Something like that. "I found an opening, about fifty steps in, left, twenty steps, left again. It's easy to miss the depth, like...you know that scene in Labyrinth? God I miss Bowie...anyway! Might need some back up, there's some kind of swARM-!"crackle
static
hiss
And then a whisper sounds over the headsets: How many?
HOW MANY?
A thousand whispering voices erupt over the line:

Sy spoke over the headset again for everyone to hear. you know in case he runs into trouble and can't save his own a** being the newcomer and all just fresh out of the pod. "Mark.. Mark is it? Well I am in the tunnels still and I swear to god i just saw an outline of a person not too far in front of me. I am trying to follow him or her or it. but yeah. I don't want to say this but I'm freaked out in this dark place with just a faint glow from these bugs down here..." Sy ran along the path of bugs illuminating some sort of green from their shells. "s**t, i lost sight of whoever it is up ahead." Another voice spoke through the headset right after Mark had finished talking. Another person that was actually down in the tunnels too? Hallelujah he was not alone! "You- You in the tunnels, too, like me. How do you look like? I look like a poor wizard with handmedown clothing. Blue and white and golden clothing. If you see me don't beat the s**t out of me alright?" he spoke fast since he wanted to group up asap. But Sy didn't like what he heard next. Static and many whispers. .. Creepy voices that seemed to be taken right out of scary movies... And then he remembered about the guy that just told him to drink water from his bottle. He twisted the cap open and drank two sips of water. He wasn't thirsty but Mark told him to drink some so he did because he thought drinking it would stop him from hearing voices. like it was holy water or something.

Dissection RoomSherry really did like the idea of sitting. Of lying all the way down. She was tired, and feeling ill, and her vision was certainly not up to par. A quick nap would help, clearly. She was aware of the hands as they crawled over her neck, aware of strangling feeling. But she was tired, and not really up to functioning. Weakly, she tried to pull one of them off. It was harder than it should have been. "Help," she tried to say.

DISSECTION ROOMLucky followed Mimsy and Caroline into the darkness, looking over his shoulder periodically for any sign of danger sneaking up on them from behind. It was the smell of the room that hit him before the sight of it - a putrefying smell that immediately turned his stomach. The room was clearly designed by some sort of sadistic butcher - miscellaneous parts were scattered in all directions, floating in jars, lying around haphazardly, like taking apart humans was a hobby."I'm good, thanks," Lucky mumbled, shaking his head at Mimsy's invitation. He settled for staring very firmly at his shoes and trying not to breathe through his nose, letting Mimsy take the first crack at exploring. He tried to count everyone else by their shoes too - something that set the other humans in the room apart from the body parts. He counted himself, Mimsy, Caroline, and finally a hunter who wasn't even standing. Wait -- "What the - oh, <********> -" A pair of hands were wrapped around the hunter's throat, attached to absolutely nothing. In a panic, Lucky stumbled his way around the moving viscera to land on his knees near her side. He had a moment of obvious hesitation before he finally wrapped his hands around the disembodied ones. "Uh - um - hang on -"
And tried to pull them off by force." WELL I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH EXCITEMENT FOR TODAY," Lucky practically yelled as the communication line erupted into a thousand extremely unsafe-sounding whispers. He looked ready to rip his headset off entirely, if his hands hadn't been occupied.

Dissection RoomSherry was super tired, and her vision wasn't exactly cooperating, but she did manage a weak pat on on the arm of the hunter who had materialized out of nowhere to help her. It was a 'thank you' pat.

[ THE DISSECTION ROOM ]Seemingly quite pleased to see the eyeball moving on its own accord, Mimsy rattled it in the jar and whispered a cheerful little 'hello' to it. Caroline stared at her, not sure if it was more important to acknowledge how weird she was or to do what Mark was asking for. "You want me to talk...the opposite of dirty to--uh, okay." If that was what he wanted to help himself feel better, she could do that, she guessed. "Dwight is fond of sweets," Mimsy interjected, brow furrowed with confusion. "We have shared ice cream on several occasions. I have given him cookies. He enjoys--"" Calm down there, Wednesday." Caroline swatted at her, then at the hand that was steadily climbing towards the top of her head, knocking the appendage off balance. It tumbled down a couple of feet before catching itself on her braid again. "You're missing the point." With the manner of someone trying to prove someone else wrong, Mimsy scooped the struggling hand off of her hair and into a thick jar. It fell to the bottom with a pleasant plunk that did not suit a severed hand in the slightest. "Holy s**t," Caroline whispered to herself. She took a deep breath, coughed from the stench, and tried to get back on track. "So--so, Mark, the bakery's got some great mood lighting here. Almost flutters while you look at everything. And there's a variety like you wouldn't believe. All kinds--so many uh, tasty things. Crossaints, bear claws, doughnuts, cakes, little pies. Smells fantastic in here, like the air's made of sugar. But Dwight is--" She paused, realizing that she had no idea if Dwight was actually in (pieces) here or not, and gestured for Mimsy to give her that information. Mimsy took a moment to catch on, but eventually shook her head with a definite certainty. "Dwight's not here, Mark. Do you want us to bring any of this stuff to you? Because I'm not sure I can...afford...it?" While she was losing track of the metaphor, Mimsy was carefully tucking jarred specimens away in a bag. "It has been observed that any portion of a clone that has been severed, removed, or otherwise separated from its body will continue to react as if it were still connected," Mimsy dutifully informed the room, unaware of the hands that had been separated from a body that apparently wanted to murder Sherry. "It is reasonable to assume that we have stumbled upon a facility which is being used to produce and experiment upon entities that have potentially been cloned from other Hunters." She had barely finished speaking when the hiss of the whispers roared over the headsets, followed by Lucky's (admittedly warranted) shouting about it, which caused her to fumble with a small jar of toes. "For whom are we bargaining?" Mimsy whispered back. It was an important variable to know, which would significantly affect her answer.

TUNNELSIt was hot, too hot as Matt stepped out of the portal and into the desert sun his gut churning from memories of the last time he had been near the desert. It hadn’t ended so well and there were still a few scars from some vague memory of insane plants and horsemen scrambling around. He didn’t know where Kyle had wandered off too or what his division had sent him doing but so far this was nothing more than something like a rescue mission and as long as they didn’t disturb anything everything would go along without too much trouble. It still made him uneasy, like everything else every mission made him uneasy and he would feel better when he had eyes on the younger sun instead of being concerned if something bad happen to him. After searching around too long in the hot sun a few voices mentioned heading over to the entrance of the cave and Matt began trudging his way over giving an annoyed look at the sand slowly building up in his shoes. He ignored the insects crawling around however it didn’t stop the shuddered running up his spine at the vague remnants of horsemen left. Kyle still wasn’t insight but Matt figured he was somewhere inside, hopefully inside as he made his way down the stairs, and more stairs, and even more and more stairs avoiding the cramp dark rooms on the intersections. There was no point in searching in them, if there was no light there was likely no sun hunter there. Instead he kept making his way down stopping when he reach a deep darkness as a foul stench filled his nose. A voice sounded in the darkness calling slowly sending a shiver up his spine and causing him to turn around. If anything the sun was not there.

DISSECTION ROOM
Lawrence had tagged along, not out of a desire to help anyone but simply because he wasn't supposed to be in the sahara any longer with the single exception of missions. So here he was, as unconcerned as usual as he pulled his mission cloak -white this time- around himself.
He ended up in the dissection room mainly because he could smell the rancid stench of decay from some distance away, to a nose corrupted by Butch it smelled good.
All his friends were here too and he gave them a smirk.

THE TUNNELS - Shu "I'm going into the maze, don't send more people here where they could hear voices luring them, if you don't hear words from me - like 15 minutes later." The petite Death said with a determined face, even if it had to be a life for a life, it would worth it. It wasn't hard to find a location to make marking with a glow-in-the-dark highlighter, before she chased after the faint glow. She merely hoped the walls didn't shift like that depicted in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix or the staircases in Hogwarts. She left mark as she went deeper into the maze, skimmed over the information heard via the headset. Besides Mimsy's words which allowed her to discover Dwight could be a sweet tooth and Caroline's delightful bakery metaphor of their surroundings. They reported weird stuffs and so, then - the announcement of an opening was found stole her attention - cut short and replaced by inscrutable congregation of whispers asking "How many lives for you own". Her mind told her it wasn't the same voice from before, an existence that could be too dangerous to deal with. Mimsy questioned their identity, Shu waited while thinking the answer - none of them. She didn't deserve more lives to exchange for hers.

[ PRISON ROOM ] - Ace Whether or not the door went down, the Sun hunter could shine the weapon's glow onto the prisoner's face. " One for each room, there're ten, you can count?" It was directed to Terry, the new comer. " Er, Mark? Dwight sounds like a man's name, they're ladies in sleep, decaplets with dark hair, looks like teens. Do we have to rescue them?" He then added, " Can't show you how they look though, I've taken pic with my phone but I think we don't have share photofunction? Thinking to make one?" Then he overheard conversations and chuckled lightly, wow, it's a mess, he thought. Then he heard a voice he recognized and turned to Jason. "Good news, your friend is found. Bad news, he seems to be lost." The odd enough whispers that interrupted the communication line made him excited. It was an instinct when something unknown threatened your life, it sent a chill down his spine. The interesting question remained unanswered as it was cut short by Lucky's yell. "Not sure man, maybe something more exciting's coming?" Occasionally, he would reply to other hunters. "Good try, madam." He thumbed up at Caroline even she couldn't see it. Turning body parts into bakery products, how creative that was.

[ TUNNELS ]
Travis joined the group at the cave, and then in the cave. He went down some stairs, and well. He was still feeling pretty genki, so he set off down some stairs at a pretty good clip. "Wow." The bugs were rather impressive.
Less impressive was the smell. It was nasty. Travis stopped, staring down one tunnel then the next, looking for anyone else - and wondering if he really wanted to continue on down this way.
