XD Funny! Yeah, I ended up with librarian... but my first thing was going to be teacher because of the chalkboard item in the gold shops. My teacher looked more librarian, tho, so I had to flip it around. <.< >.>

That item is really ugly as a thumbnail but its actually cute when I tried it on, pretty well made. If you hadnt said it is for the NSTG I wouldnt know.
Totally agree with everything you said. It's also just too bad that the colors don't really align with gaia's common color schemes.

There was just no life- I only enter avi contests with my own inventory and I had a few items... but no eye items or lips and no hair; the things that really personalise an avi just weren't there. These days, I feel like if you have normal arms and legs, there's no way you look as nice as the people with mods; it didn't use to be that way! I normally have store eyes, they're just nice and the style I like and people have commented on my store eyes but like 'well, find me a decent pair of mid-brown-to-green eyes that are large, expressive, with black lashes and no blush and I'll wear it' but you can't find anything like that. I'm only wearing mod eyes right now because it's a mod face. (And also it is the right look; my avi is running from ghosts in a scary forest, it's fun ^_^)
I used to wear gold shop stompin' boots, a good-old basic black tank top, tights, gloves, jewellery, the lolita blouses. I still wear them when the look I have needs it, but so often the cash items are just closer to what you want. I haven't bought cash in years and I haven't earned cash in... I don't remember when. I have some... last time I used it was for the pokemon card item... And the Blue eyes White Dragon items! *Rolls around* I love Kaiba!
But I love sponsor items and free items. If the contest had included free items I could have done it XD Some cute eyes, the blush from the pocky item, cute animal friend...

Day: Sunday Entry: I'm 90% sure this is all gold shop stuff but it's not like there's a nice "Goldshop" tag I can search to be sure - hope I don't get disqualified I just went by "old and really cheap and I vaguely remember buying these there I think"

Yeeeaaahhh xD I think even if it had better colors I probably wouldnt wear it, or at least not often. I almost never wear items that only have 1 option in it. Those items sorta migrate to the depths of my inventory and then I just never find them again.
I don't know what happened to Lady Kikila. Any ideas?

XD i literally had no hair. my base is bald since i use wigs. so i bought salon hair for the contest. i totally get what you mean tho. gold shop items are lifeless. so stupid because would be a good gold sink to give better gold shop options. also ya i've been loving your cute spooky ghost avi. ^^
