The Sneasel gave a surprisingly high-pitched shriek as Sol snuck up on him. Honestly, the youth had almost been his next creation... albeit it by accident, but still. He watched the youth curiously, his eyes lighting up as Sol talked. A winner? Him? FINALLY, someone on this petty rock understood talent when they saw it! He preened, bowing to the "judge"... but the last comment would make him pause.
Leave Everlast Summit? Leave the place he'd grown up on? His home?
Who WOULDN'T want to get out of this dump? He scrunitized the boy; young, yes, and unfortunately human, but he'd work as an agent. Maybe that big lunk back there could be a good bodyguard. Besides, they'd brought him a lovely gift! Picking up one of the streamers, he fashioned it around his neck as a bow tie. Now he was ready for the season. Poised but still filled to the brim with excitement, he strode forward and offered a sheathed claw. This was his ticket to fame!

In the Garden of Monsters
Sadly not even careful measuring could save Nim from what came next. Perhaps awakened by the clatter, or yet another errant limb of the young girl, regardless a Pokemon would rise from the snow. The rim of it's singular rocky 'eye' would glow as it proclaimed ">ROCKMAN.EXE IS ONLINE!<"
It would seem Nim had encountered a bit of a weirdo, as a Roggenrola wiggled it's rocky 'ahoge' at her. ">LOCKING ON TARGET...CHARGING BUSTER!.....CHARGERING....CHARGING!<" From the sounds of it the Pokemon was preparing an attack....probably. It wasn't exactly quick or sane. It seemed Nim had the chance to take initiative here; whether that meant trying to get away, distract the bonkers boulder, or attack was up to her...or possibly Eins.
Part of Trafalgar felt bad, maybe he should have captured the Cherubi and protected it himself. But he left the Pokemon to fend for itself, out here in the wilderness. Perhaps the Pokemon didn't deserve that fate. However, it was now out of his hands. Focus. Your mission first. You can't help everyone...especially not when your training to be an elite Team Rocket member. Trafalgar shrugged and continued walking, hoping to reach the bottom of this tree.

Seeing the Sneasel extend it's claw, and receiving a thumbs up from Umbra to indicate the Pokemon's approval, Sol would clap his hands together. "Excellent excellent! Now we'll need to give you a nickname for travel purposes, but we can sort that out later. Now...." The boy would promptly begin digging through the bag carried by Umbra to retrieve a Pokeball "....as for travel arrangements we have this lovely spherical transport unit! Go from point A to B in an instant! All in the comfort and convenience of an easy to carry package! Blink and you'll find yourself at a new destination!" The boy said, still trying to upsell the situation. Before the Sneasel could change it's mind however, the boy would quickly tap the ball against the Pokemon's claw.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 3 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
Though the moment between Pokemon and Trainer would distract the Cryogonal for a second or two, it wouldn't last. The Ice-type was surprised, not moved. Slowly those chains would try and bind tigher around the Litleo's body. It could still hold them a little longer. squeeze a little tighter!
Stepping away from the roots of the King, you find yourself in a world of darkness, the canopy above so thick barely a ray of sunlight manages to penetrate. Thankfully the blackness is occasionally lessened by glowing patches of lichen and moss. Its enough to navigate by, but the poor lighting only seems to enhance the nightmarish atmosphere. Bones crunch under foot, occasionally accompanied by the squish of things far less pleasant; little can grow in such gloom, and so those that dwell here must survive by whatever means necessary. A hellish landscape where only those of a darker nature can hope to survive for long. Best move quickly before you find yourself added to the bones strewn across the jungle floor.
Onyxia smiled as Ordo was looking like his normal self. She stood up from her buddy. "Ordo... this guy is strong, I know he's crushed you. But I think he'll be good for us." She smiled at the Cryogonal before looking back to Ordo. "Back off Bud." She watched as Ordo began to put some distance between them. >She wants you. Join us so we can stop this fighting.< She watched as Ordo got himself ready.
They did it. They managed to climb all the way down from the giant tree. It had been quite a journey already. Trafalgar hadn't managed to get a chance to catch any interesting Pokemon yet. He needed to catch something.
This area seemed different from the last. It was very gloomy, dark, and dangerous. Trafalgar was not a large fan of the dark, and it was just so dark in this forest. He wish he had caught a fire type or something to have led the way. Nevertheless, they needed to manage their way through this forest and come out alive as well.
Trafalgar felt he needed to shift his mindset a little bit. Survival was the most important thing for him, right now.
Be it darkness or light, survival would be the goal in this thick, foreboding jungle. For Trafalgar however, this would be a feat easier said than done. Only a few steps into the dark depths a head would poke out from the shadows. Sniffing the air tentatively, the reptile would almost look cute....until it opened it's hungry maw and licked it's lips. An almost savage growl would come off the creature, further proving the misfortune befalling Trafalgar. Of all the things to meet first, it would seem he had a hungry Deino on his hands!

Aria Cote
- Battle Information - [N/A]
One moment, Aria was simply looking for a flat, open area the helicoptor could potentially touch down at. The next, she was falling through the air, her unholy screeching drowned out by the wind rushing by her face. The shock of landing in the snow, and especially soft snow rather than a hard, packed section, did keep her from screaming for much longer, but rather than go away completely it devolved into her hyperventilating from fear. "I'm alive...? I'm alive... I'm alive..." she muttered to herself between shaky breaths over and over, like some sort of mantra, as her brain tried to sort out her current situation. And she would stay like that until she realized an extra sensation other than the simple fact that she was actually still capable of processing information: She was cold.
Shuddering and shivering, the girl got to her feet to find that everything as far as the eye could see was covered in snow and ice. Okay, maybe that wasn't entirely true. Dow below the mountain, she was sure she could see greenery, and possibly even something else, but that didn't last long as the difference between the cold air around her and her warm body caused her glasses to fog up. "Ah, shoot..." the girl mumbled, now noticing that her breath came out as white smoke when she spoke, as she took off her glasses and tried to rub the fog off. Her breathing was starting to calm itself, which was a good thing considering how high up she was. Indeed, her lungs and throat already felt sore from the combination of her screams and uncontrolled breathing. Cold, thin air was not something to lose control in.
With the only path before her being the steep slope down the mountain, Aria let Bael out of his ball. The houndour wasn't quite as bothered by the cold temperatures as his trainer, which was a good thing as far as the girl was concerned. "C-come on... Let's get moving..." the girl told her partner shakily as she cautiously started making her way down the mountain, careful to not lose her footing on the only path she had at the moment. Bael whimpered slightly as he padded along close by.

{{OoC: Yes, clearly this is the mountain of falling children and broken dreams. XD At least Bael should have an advantage against some of the inhabitants for this leg of the journey.}}

Aria continued to shiver as she walked along the path, Bael padding along beside her. Not realizing that a trip to a mountain was in the cards for her, the girl hadn't brought a coat with her, and her blouse certainly wasn't going to be much help in keeping her warm. Still, it wouldn't be any good to just stand around and complain about it. The sooner she got off the mountain, the sooner she would be someplace warmer.

((19+5) - 15) + ( 7 - 8 ) = 8 DMG Sneasel HP: 6
The sneasel was cunning, but Deneb managed to sting him nonetheless. He sucked away as much of the sneasel's blood as he could manage before the revolting taste got to him. With no use yet for the sneasel's energy, on he pulled away he promptly spit it all out; maybe long ago his ancestors could stomach it but nowadays he preferred the healthy taste of nectar.
With hopes that Altair had something up his sleeve to bail him out of this situation soon, the little cutiefly resumed his frantic buzzing around. His only line of defense, but it hadn't failed him yet!
This particular Pokemon might have gone unnoticed most predators, if it weren't for the way the sunlight glinted off her back. A striking flash of brilliant light shone as the little white rodent surfaced and shook herself out. She paid no mind to Aria, despite the fact that the girl happened to be right behind her. It was her hide that made her species well-known, those the color was wrong. No, it wasn't simply Sandshrew-- this was an Alolan Sandshrew. Seemed the odd weather on Everlast Summit provided a perfect home for this odd mutation.

There was no need for Sol to worry; the Sneasel had already been charmed by the idea of leveling. His last thought as he was sucked in was about making sure his stage name was appropriately beautiful.

The Sneasel dropped like a stone, landing hard in the snow. His foe might have been little, but he was fierce. His breathing came in short, sharp pants as he tried to pull himself together. This was no time for reckless actions; he needed to be careful least he lose. Instead of rushing forward, he glared at Deneb in a dark Leer. Perhaps lowering the demon's defense would provide him the opening that he needed!
