Kazuki eases up when the fire was put off and puts on a smile. He calmly walks towards them after confirming that they really are good people. Among the first people I met from other worlds, these guys have to be the kindest pair. Good thing I wounded up with them. One even caused a firestorm after seeing me?! "You don't know how much I appreciate you guys right now. The creature could've been a dragon or something. Hehe..he he erghh..." Kazuki's calm and happy tone for being thankful turned to a disgusted tone when he remembered that the last fight he had was from a dragon, boy, it sure was tiring for him. Not to mention he still hasn't had any sleep. As he draws close to the two, the unfamiliar roar was heard again. It started to sound familiar and this time it was louder and was accompanied by a flapping sound. It can't be what he think it is. "You have got to be kidding me." The wind started to blow strongly. No point of running now. He jumps forward not too near the pair, faced the direction where the wind was coming a draws out his Katana. I can't believe it sounded different from far away. I wasn't expecting this at all. I may have met the kindest people first but I got in a really bad situation fast. This guys sure are battle ready. I'll have to examine their moves first before I aide them.
As the seconds past, the flapping sound becomes noisier, the wind blows stronger, and the surroundings get colder. Alas, an Ice Dragon can be seen approaching the three at a rapid pace. Kazuki's ring started to shine a blue light as he holds his blade on his right right hand, while leaving his left hand open which looks like he's completely defenseless with his form.
ooc: I've done goofed. Edited my last post instead of replying lol. Will change it once I get home. RPing at work is kinda dangerous xD

β πlake πΏrinity β ββββ "Thank you," Blake murmured when the fire died down. Rowan's reaction wasn't unexpected. Actually, she ended up being surprised that he even gave in. It's not like he had to at her call. The action made her wonder what he reasoning for letting up was, but it was nice enough that he had all the same. As soon as the flames lowered, the wolves sprinted forward, past the one that'd made her Knight suspicious enough to raise them in the first place. The guy seemed rather thankful as he continued to approach. It almost made up for the Knight's flinch-inducing words. "It's nothing. Just don't go addressi-" her voice cut off as an image flashed in her mind, the vision of one of her summons. A familiar silhouette flew over them in the sky. To confirm her suspicions, a loud roar echoed through the mountains, one undoubtedly belonging to a dragon. She brought her hand to her face. Well, chalk one up for Rowan. I be nice to someone, and they lead trouble right to us. At least this thing isn't even- Blake had tilted her head back to see her Knight prepare for action. At least, that's what she thought he would've done; however, he seemed to have different plans, doing nothing more than remaining by the campfire. You're not going to do anything to prove a point, aren't you? Even this new guy was somewhat preparing himself for a fight! His glowing ring momentarily caught her attention before the dragon crashed down before them. It's gunna ruin everything! I can't take something like this! This guy at least seems prepared, but dragons aren't slouches! It's not as if anyone can take them on...
As the rest of the dragons they'd faced before had, the giant silvery creature was momentarily overcome with fear upon reaching a certain distance from her Knight. The thing threw back its head with a high-pitched sound before shaking it back and forth, as if trying to decide the best course-of-action. Once it came to a decision, however, the dragon lowered its head and opened its mouth to launch its icy breath weapon. Blake didn't doubt that Rowan would make sure she'd be alright, despite the way he was acting, but the same didn't go for this new guy. The Knight probably couldn't care less about his safety or well-being. Taking a deep breath, the magus swiped her hand by her belt before creating a supported wall of adamantine big enough to protect the camp and the three of them. Only made with enough mana to sustain the blast, it immediately dispersed after, causing shards of ice to fall to the ground. Aim for the underside, Blake, that's where he does. The wall had also served as a decent cover, an adamantine arrow taking the creature by surprise and hitting it in the chest. Despite her successful hit, the dragon didn't seem too worried about the wound. "Look, dragons aren't anything to be messed with! How did this thing get on your tail?!" she called out to the stranger. He acted as though fighting such a creature was more of a chore than a fight for his life. That was when the dogs showed back up, only to be taken out rather quickly by the creature's tail.
Blake's expression fell. Both of her regular summons were immediately sent back to their plane from the damage this monster could do with just its tail. I don't even think a Wrath could stand a chance against this thing. Under normal circumstances, it might be able to make it angry enough to leave us alone, but with Gram here... It's already made the decision to stay. At this point, it'd only be a waste of mana. "Okay, okay! Fine! Once again, you were proven right!" she shouted while looking back at Rowan. "I could really use your help right now, though! We both know this isn't really something I could take on, not now." She couldn't say the same for the newcomer, totally unaware if he even had fighting capability. It'd be her fault if he took on this thing and got himself killed. No worries~

~Rowan~ "There used to be a point to everything, but since that day I can't seem to find myself caring about anything anymore. It's not because I don't want to, but because it's best if I don't." βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Thanking them? Why was he giving them his thanks, especially when Rowan was pretty much stating he did not want this guy anywhere near the camp? Either way, nothing he said would change anything, and Blake was gonna help the guy no matter what. Did she just have a soft spot for young men that randomly showed up out of the blue or something? That could be the case. Or maybe she's just an idiot that doesn't know when being too kind is going to end up getting you killed. Rowan thought to himself as he watched the man carefully, glaring at him the entire time. A sigh was all that escaped Rowan's lips when the dragon appeared, making some sort of grand entrance that was reduced in scale by the fear that overcame it. Fearful, it hovered around them until coming to a decision on its own. Rowan could only assume it was considering whether or not it should fight him, sensing that Gram was nearby. The arm, however, was mostly covered by his jacket with only the hand showing, the pure white coat flowing from the wind the dragon was generating with its wings. Even though it was a dragon, Rowan contained his hatred for the creature and merely sat about he campfire, not paying it too much mind as he watched Blake. She seemed disgruntled with him, upset even. As a matter of fact, her eyes lingered on him for a few moments before she turned her attention to fighting the dragon. What he saw unfold before him, however, was a very poor attempt to try and defeat a creature beyond her power. Would the stranger do much better in this type of situation? Just the sight of it was enough to fill him with immense disappointment. He figured that Blake would be able to come up with a good strategy for killing the creature, having watched him slay so many, yet all she did was fire and arrow into its underside. Why didn't you wait or it to charge and create some spikes underneath its belly. You could have impaled it and pinned it for a more destructive attack. You might even be able to kill it if you did something like that. Are you just not thinking or something? Rowan thought to himself as he watched it tear through her summons. This is just sad to watch. Why isn't it even dead yet? There's two people fighting it, one of them a Mage. The other guy looks like he's either a Knight or a Mage. So why aren't they winning? Rowan thought to himself, not sure if the two of them were capable of taking on a dragon. Suddenly, Blake turned her attention towards Rowan and began to shout at him to help her, admitting she was wrong. "You idiot! Don't turn your back to the enemy!" He shouted at the woman. Whether she turned around or not, the dragon was sweeping its claw in her direction to skewer her completely. What it met with, however, was merely Rowan's arm. The creature's claw was blown back by the force of the gauntlet blocking it, and Rowan merely stared at the creature. "You're a pretty ugly creature, you know that?" Rowan stated to the dragon, moving forward towards it and blocking another one of its attacks with the demonic arm. Regardless of whether or not he should be fighting it, he was going to keep it distracted so it would not strike at Blake anymore. "Pathetic lizard..." Rowan muttered as he moved closer towards it, shortening the effective range of its attacks. After all, he was the new target of the creature given the item that he possessed. As long as he was near it, the creature would strike at him. Ducking, blocking, and jumping around, he managed to weave in and out of its attacks. The creature even stood up on its hind legs and breathed ice down on him, only for him to hide behind his coat, the combined efforts of the coat and gram nullifying the attack entirely. "At this point I can't tell if you're even trying anymore..." Rowan mumbled, moving into the range of its claw attacks again. Once in this range, he would simple dodge around it and block the creature's strikes. There was no real reason for him to do any more than that... especially with other people around. After all, he did not want anyone connecting him to the story that was floating around Yuki-no-Okoku. Instead, he would simply play the part of someone who was good at keeping a creature busy while others did all of the work, acting as if he could not defeat a dragon alone. βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ "Even if you tell me that there was a point to bringing me back, that still doesn't seem to mean anything to me. All I am is a weapon, and that was all I was trained to be, since the beginning." Z.O.M.B.I.E.

Seeing how the elf wasn't able to stop the dragon, she must've been tired. She was able to protect the three of them for the dragon's first attack. The fierce looking guy took the place of the elf battling the dragon. It seemed like things were in his control "Woah. This guy's good"
Despite the guy battling the dragon, Kazuki felt like something else was wrong. He stared to hear familiar exploding noise. Like a sonic boom of some sort. With this, he didn't drop his guard down. He stayed with his stance analyzing his surroundings. For some reason, the sonic booms were matching every instance the dragon hits the fierce looking guy. Suddenly, Kazuki saw a quite smaller dragon but a lot faster. So fast that it could create a sonic boom. It was heading towards him. Having the ability to see things slowly, Kazuki glanced over to the bigger dragon and focused back on the approaching dragon. He slashed the empty space in front of him creating a layer of blue flame like aura. This is one of his defensive stances. Once it touched the approaching dragon, it slowed down tremendously to a point like seeing something flying in slow motion. The slash was calculated to hit both dragons. After both dragons got hit, It should get the pair's attention. Kazuki looked at the fierce looking guy as if his was telling to aim at the smaller dragon first since it looked weaker and is more dangerous compared to the bigger one. He gets ready to jump towards the bigger dragon. "I hope he knows what I'm thinking here. This faster dragon's a worse threat that the bigger one. Also, I need to disperse the aura of tranquility at the right moment when he hits the dragon so his punches would be as strong as it should be. "

β πlake πΏrinity β ββββ At her Knight's call, Blake turned back toward the dragon with just enough time to see its claws coming at her. She really didn't quite get the chance to register what could've happened because Rowan was suddenly before her, taking the impact as though it were nothing with Gram. From where she was, even the young woman could feel the force of the two colliding, staggering back a little herself. Well, at least she was right in the thoughts that he wouldn't let her die. A little sigh escaped her, grateful that she dodged a bullet or rather...Rowan blocked one. "Thanks." He moved on the thing, drawing his attention at the very least as he dodged and blocked its oncoming attacks. This was weird, though. The Knight could take out this thing rather easily if he wanted to, so what was he doing? Playing with it? Still trying to teach her some sort of lesson? Maybe he was trying to play dumb and not reveal anything to this newcomer, save he have any ill intentions... Either way, it was obvious after only a moment that he didn't have much more input for the battle. Blake grit her teeth when she realized that she'd have to do a lot more than she'd wanted to when it came to this fight. It was time to tap into the reserves.
While Rowan continued to distract the creature, Blake opened her hand over the ground and closed her eyes. Normally, she wasn't one to give into anger of all emotions. Now, it was necessary. Her entire night had been thoroughly ruined in one way or another after doing so well today. All she'd wanted was have some dinner, practice for an hour, and then go to bed. Instead, she had to convince her Knight to allow a possibly dangerous stranger into their camp, effectively pissing him off and probably for the rest of the evening. Said person in trouble ended up leading a dragon straight to them, sentencing any normal pair of people to sudden death in the wilderness. Instead of it being a quick-fix, Rowan was being stubborn, so something that shouldn't be a problem became a rather large one. All in all, Blake was low on magical energy, physical energy, and patience. A bright red magic circle opened up beneath her.
"Guardian of the void of judgement, hear me! Use thy blade to cast thy gift unto my enemies and invite them into your realm. My words hold dominion over thee and grant your passage into this world..." A gray fog began to rise from the massive circle, the thing oozing with so much mana that the active energy was having a breeze-like effect on her hair and clothes. "My strength makes your body," behind Blake, a tall, black, smokey human skeleton formed from the feet up. "...my rage your wings," on the creature, two black crow wings opened up at a massive span. ", and my will your weapon." In front of Blake, a large curved blade formed from black smoke before hardening into the unbreakable metal adamantine. The arms of the headless skeleton reached forward past the Mage as the length of the scythe rose into its hands. She opened her eyes to see the summons arms and weapon before her. It was almost surprising that it was working. This thing had only been summoned by her twice before. Above the woman, its head was beginning to form, swirling black smoke threatening its existence. "With this...I evoke my Wrath." The smoke hardened into a white ceramic-like material, taking on the shape of a bird's skull rather than a human's. Beneath Blake, the magic circle faded and the Wrath took off toward the large ice dragon. At least, that was its initial purpose.
So focused on the incantation to summon her second-best psychopomp, she'd missed the strangeness of the exploding-like sounds, simply assuming it'd been something between her Knight and the creature he'd been fighting. It was when one of them nearly knocked her Wrath out of the sky that it caught her attention. Suddenly, a blue flame-like wave seemed to hit both of the dragons, causing the pair to slow down significantly. Blake looked back over to the newcomer. Had that been from him? She wondered what exact kind of magic could slow something down or seemingly do so. He was making eyes at Rowan, and she could only assume from the direction that the man was suggesting her Knight take on the smaller, faster dragon as if he'd missed the thing. The half-elf's expression fell at the realization before looking back toward the dragon-slayer refusing to slay dragons. There's no way he's doing any of that, especially from some guy... Annoyed, the woman let out an exasperated sound and rolled her eyes. Clothesline it. The Wrath gave a deathly caw before circling behind the dark-haired stranger and readying itself with its blade aimed for the dragon's neck, as close as possible without being effected by the blue aura. When the dragon began moving at normal speed again, it'd undoubtedly remove its own head with the force.
Meanwhile, a chunk of steel shot forth from the ground at an angle, throwing Blake toward the larger dragon and sliding behind Rowan. "Ladies first, huh?" she asked in a low voice. Raising her left arm, a dozen light blue circles lit up underneath the dragon, shining like a beacon beneath the monster. At the time of being slowed, the creature was rearing back for another claw attack on her Knight, leaving its weak point for easy pickings. Silver pools formed within the lights. She looked back toward the newcomer who seemed to get ready for an attack on the beast. "Lets go! I've got the other one; we can both take this one out! I'd suggest staying away from its body, though..." Sharp points jutted forward slightly from the pools, threatening to either form or disperse. This might be the last of it. As soon as the stranger moved, Blake would release the spikes to impale the creature, aiding him in his attack if not taking the thing out herself.

~Rowan~ "There used to be a point to everything, but since that day I can't seem to find myself caring about anything anymore. It's not because I don't want to, but because it's best if I don't." βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Rowan had no intention of helping either of these two out with their little dragon problem. Noticing Blake casting some magic, he simply watched her out of the corner of his eyes as she spawned some sort of wraith-like thing with a scythe. The sight of it was slightly unnerving, yet he still kept his cool and merely turned his attention towards the dragon completely. All he had to do was keep his attention on it and keep blocking its attacks so that it would leave Blake alone. That was when he noticed something fly around out of the corner of his eye, yet another dragon. So this guy had a platoon of these creatures following him around or something? As unlikely as something like that seemed, apparently that was what was going on here. The appearance of the creature was merely met with another sigh as the man who approached their camp used some ability to slow them down. So that was his technique, the ability to slow creatures down or something like that? Whatever his ability was, Rowan merely watched it for a few moments as the dragons slowed down quite a bit.
I guess that's it for me then. Rowan thought to himself as he saw the man giving him some kind of look, figuring that he wanted him to do something about the dragons. That's not my purpose here. I'm just protecting Blake. You can deal with your own problems. Rowan thought to himself as he simply closed his eyes and turned away from the man, not moving from his current spot at all. Blake seemed to have the situation handled, however, and merely used her wraith-like creature to decapitate the thing. Maybe she was starting to learn a little bit now. You still needed help from that guy though. So you're not in the clear yet. If I'm not around, you might end up like dragon food unless you can get better. Rowan thought to himself as Blake suddenly landed behind him. She said something to him, yet it was only met with a glare from Rowan. "You're risking your life for this guy way too eagerly. You should just sit back and let him handle his own mess, idiot." Rowan stated with a spiteful tone, obviously dissatisfied with Blake's actions.
The two of them had nothing to do with this guy, yet here she was trying to help him kill two dragons that happened to chase him through the snow. Was it really their place to even interfere in something like this, especially since they did not know this guy at all. Are we just going to make it a habit to help or save every single stranger that we happen across along the way. We already lost some valuable time sleeping, and we're undoubtedly going to be kept awake a lot longer to hear this guy's story or something like that. Rowan thought to himself, feeling rather irritated with the situation. Instead of helping fight, he merely stood in front of Blake and was prepared to block any strikes that were aimed at her or himself. After all, she was right behind him so she should be fairly easy to protect. If this is the case every time we come across someone new... then maybe I should just leave her at the next town and go fight that woman alone. I might be able to beat her without my Mage... and situations like this are far more unlikely when I'm alone. Rowan thought to himself as he watched the dragon carefully. Blake seemed like she might have this one finished off too.

Kazuki was lucky enough to have met people as strong as these guys. Lacking energy because of his last battle, was only able to release a small amount of his power. He removes the aura touching the dragons every split second an attack hits them with exact precision leaving their attacks hitting as it should be and leaving the dragons open. The dragons were defeated at haste with their teamwork, though, it sounded like the fierce looking guy could take both on. It also sounded like the elf was strong but lacks training. Anyway, she did really good if that was the case.
Kazuki noticed that the dragons here are smaller but are a lot faster not to mention the one that made the sonic booms. He stretched his body right after the fight to ease up "Man! That sure ended fast. I was wondering, though. Why are are your dragons here a lot smaller? On the last 2 worlds I visited, we fought two dragons simultaneously and they were bigger than an actual castle! But hey, the dragons here sure are fast" He sheathes his Katana and disperses the blue aura floating around. He then yawns and looks at the sky.

β πlake πΏrinity β ββββ Annnnd I'm tired now, Blake thought before sinking to her knees with a sigh. With two of her highest spells, some normal casting, and pushing the limits of creating objects to its maximum all being done within such a small time-span, the magus was warn out. Actually, had those spikes been the largest thing she'd made? Blake couldn't remember attempting anything of that size before. Either way, this was nothing compared to the magic drain she'd felt the night she had resurrected Rowan; however, it had been some time since she hit this low. Even Cheyenne had been regulated to fit the young woman's mana regeneration. Not that it wasn't exhausting in its own right. Her head lolled back as she closed her eyes. Geez, I gunna pass out here at this point. "I couldn't just...not do anything," she murmured to her Knight. "Besides, if something happened to him, whatever happened to us after would've been my fault...Good thing we were all here, huh? Did you think... that you were going to take on a dragon...by yourself?" Whatever he'd been doing, it ended up frustrating her a little more than it should have, playing dumb like that. Her question was intended to be fueled with passive aggressive sarcasam; however, since her only current setting was exhausted, it came out sounding rather legitimate. It didn't matter. At this point, she was basically over it, too tired to care. And three idiots in a little more than an hour? Rowan, shame on you. Mix it up! Blake sighed. "Anyway...sorry for making us targets," she raised her arm a little and stared up at him. "But, uhm...Can you help me up? I, uh, can't really stand..." If he took her hand, the woman would murmur a tired thank you before the voice of the dark-haired stranger caught her attention. She looked over at him with raised eyebrows.
Did he not have any sort of filter? Now he was speaking some nonsense about visiting worlds and other sorts of ridiculous things. It made the half-elf bite down on her bottom lip. At first, she had hoped what she'd heard had been due to how drained she was, but no. That's what he actually said. Great, not only did she wish to help some guy who led dragons straight to their camp, but he was also nuts. "Dragons get older with age... They come in all shapes and sizes. These two were probably younger..." she murmured while looking at the two bodies. The head of the fast one lay on the ground a little ways away. She didn't see the rest of it anywhere. It was a little surprising that the Wrath had taken it down with as much ease as she hoped. Well, that was seemingly the case. The masked skeleton flew down next to Blake. Proximity revealed the damage it had actually taken from attacking something going at incredulous speeds head-on: it was missing an arm from the elbow-down. "Ah...I'm sorry. Your form still seems stable, though. Can you remain here for a while more?" It nodded silently. Good, 'cause if anyone's going to get any sleep tonight, I'm going to need you. You can chill out wherever for now...by the tent is fine. The creature nodded again before flying over.
"What's" she yawned, "your deal, anyway?" The question may have seemed a bit more accusing than Blake intended. "Just calling people by whatever you want, getting chased by two dragons and then..." Another yawn killed her intention to continue the rant. "Look, if you're really lost and have no ill intentions, then you can...stay here tonight. There's not really room in the tent, but the fire should keep you warm. I'll...draw up a map to the nearest kingdom for you in the morning. If you try anything weird, that thing won't hesitate to move." The Wrath looked over at the group and slung its scythe over its shoulder. At least they'd have something other than Rowan to guard the place. It wouldn't do any good for them tomorrow if he didn't sleep tonight. The summon may have not been enough to convince the Knight of that, but it was an attempt. "I...I need to sleep."

Well, the situation seemed to have cleared itself up without any need for Rowan to help out at all, aside from keeping Blake safe from harm that is. Speaking of Blake, she seemed to be mumbling something rather sleepily, which seemed to be her way of telling him off. Either way, he heart the doubt in her voice about whether he could take on a dragon by himself. It almost sounds like the first time I fought one in front of you. You were so worried and couldn't even think straight. Ridiculous. Rowan thought to himself, sighing a bit as the woman raised her arm to him, almost like a child, and asked him to help her up. "You're pretty pathetic, you know that?" He stated to Blake, grabbing her arm and hoisting her up. In a split second, he was merely carrying the girl so that she did not even have to walk anymore. Well, she had managed to take down two different dragons, so in a way this was also a reward for her. After all, he was not completely oblivious to certain situations, and this seemed as good a time as any to frustrate her even more.
His attention was drawn to the man when he made some weird comment about their dragons being smaller, as if they owned them or something. Then he acted like the encounter had ended quickly, something that somewhat irritated Rowan. Both of them took forever to kill a youngling dragon, something that should not have even taken that much effort. Well, for him it should not have... but maybe it was different for people that were not equipped with anti-dragon items. "I don't know what you're talking about. You make it sound like you're pretty knowledgeable about dragons from that statement, yet you can't even tell that small dragon was a hatchling and the bigger one was a youngling? I doubt it was even a decade old judging from the size of it." Rowan stated with a slightly irritable tone in his voice. The comment about dragons being as big as a castle also made Rowan simply sigh a bit, having seen ancient dragons not too long ago. Those creatures were truly massive, and far more frightening than most other creatures. Maybe this guy should go look for some of those if he wants a basis for the size of dragons between "different worlds" or whatever that meant.
When Blake started asking the man questions about why he was there and being chased by dragons, Rowan merely felt exasperated with the young woman. They were going to lose a lot of sleep listening to this guy's story, just as Rowan had predicted would happen. Although, he had actually expected the man to just suddenly start explaining his situation to them rather than Blake outright asking about it. "We're going to have a long talk about this tomorrow... Don't think you're going to just brush this little incident under the rug..." Rowan stated to Blake, staring down at the girl that he was holding in his arms like a princess. It was a glare... yet he was not making any motion to drop her into the snow or anything. Despite how upset he was with her, he was still carrying her to the camp like she wanted. Quickly, he made his way over to the fire and set the girl down next to it, taking a seat next to her and stabbing his sword into the ground in front of him. I guess I'm on guard duty for tonight. At least she's making him a map instead of wasting a day traveling with him like I thought she would. Rowan thought to himself, glaring at the man while he sat next to Blake.

Being asked why he was chased by dragons, Kazuki couldn't think of one reason but the way he gets transported. Have you guys noticed a white explosion a moment ago? Yeah, that was me. I couldn't quite picture how it looks but people call me the light bringer or whatnot. That bright light most likely captured their attention." He continues his talk while walking towards the decapitated dragon and kicking its head. I couldn't quite explain it profoundly, though, but I get transported from other worlds, not that it sounds like it makes sense but that's it. Anyway, about me running for help, isn't it natural for someone to ask help hearing roaring sounds while being alone in the dark?".
Regarding the offer he got to stay at their camp and getting a map to the nearest kingdom made the Kazuki happy since he has been craving for sleep all this time.. "Sleeping out hear is more than enough! Not to mention a map. Thanks! He looks over the creature bringing a scythe and smiled to it. I'm in your hands
He was then lectured about these dragons being younglings. Not surprised, he turns over to the fierce looking guy looking like it was no big of a deal. Those dragons we fought were still kids. They were merely enjoying themselves after learning how to fly around. We didn't kill those dragon. A dragon priest. or at least that's what they called them, cast a spell on those creatures after being taken down. The mommy dragon, however, she was huge!' He says while unknowingly kicking the dragons head away. "Err... that just happened. We looked like ants compared to that momma. Anyway, you sound well versed with dragons and even know how to deal with them. Are you a dragon slayer? He continued on and on not considering that that everything he mentioned may not make sense to the pair

β πlake πΏrinity β ββββ It wasn't as though Blake could've walked on her own, but she wasn't expecting this much. She thought about attempting to wriggle out of the man's arms. Something like that would prove to do no good, so the poor thing would do her best to keep from turning red. Defeated and tired, Blake sighed and rested her head on his chest closing her eyes. On the bright side, at least the dragons were about as young as she'd thought, though that made their defeat much less impressive. It's unfortunate, that it took such a significant amount of mana. Things would've been fine if I hadn't used so much of it in such a short amount of time. Geez... What am I going to do? The new guy's voice caught her attention, mentioning the light she'd seen before he'd turned up.
So wait...that light in sky was his doing? Light bringer, huh...? Was it some type of magic? He then went on to say something about other worlds again, and he was right: it didn't make sense. Other worlds...What sort of nonsense... Blake looked up at Rowan as he spoke. Yeah, he was still upset. It wasn't as though she expected any differently. He'd probably be upset with her for some time about this... "Right, okay. That's fair..." she mumbled. The elf pulled her knees up to her chest after he put her down next to the fire. At least it was warm... It didn't help the woman in her attempts to stay awake, however. She was glad that the stranger was accepting her offer without worry or complaint. His response to the dragons was rather curious, though... Dragon priests... weren't dragons resistant to magics? Blake looked back at the man when he asked if Rowan was a dragon slayer before her eyes moved back toward the fire. "I'd say that's a more fitting term for me tonight..." she joked with a laugh. The young woman had, indeed brought both of them down, though from what this guy was saying, he'd fought plenty before. Well, that was the gist of what she'd taken from his strange explanation. "What's...your name, anyway...?" Transported from other worlds, in white lights, slowing creatures downs, perhaps allowing this guy here was a mistake after all. Could he have been more dangerous than he seemed? At the very least, the odd things he said made him somewhat suspicious.
The green-haired elf buried her face in her legs. She was way too tired and even considered tilting to lean on her Knight but thought against it. Instead, Blake yawned and closed her eyes. It was doubtful she'd remember much from this conversation in the morning. I can't believe the guardian showed up. It'll be a while before I can summon the Wrath again. At least I have Custas... I need to get better, though, so I can be more effective on my own. How, though... Rowan's already improving much faster than I am. It's not as though I need to keep up, but how am I supposed to stand with him against that woman at this rate? Nngh, and this guy... At least she'd be able to make sure that he'd be able to find his way to the closest kingdom. It kind of made her jealous. He'd be going to Yuki no Okoku before she was.

~Rowan~ "I never knew what loneliness was, and I never had feelings like that. Even if I started to think about such things... I just blocked it all out. Being lonely, is for weak people." βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
"Did you hear, the Dragon-Slayer showed up again! He's living in the mountains! A lot of people are saying that he lives there now, protecting the villages from dragons. I heard that the dragons are probably going to go extinct soon! He leaves the materials behind, so a lot of lucky adventurers are getting rich off his hard work. Who knew a guy like that existed! I wonder what his goal is. Do you think he's an actual person or just some story that people came up with? Even if he is a story, someone or some group's killing all the dragons in the area! I wonder if we should stop him before he ends up taking them all out. I heard dragon attacks are pretty rare now, you're lucky if you see just one of them in a couple weeks. I don't think that's too guy for the environment, you know? Hey, is this guy really some hero or just some psychotic freak? I know dragon's are dangerous... but they have their place in the world too, you know? What a freaky story... a man killing off all the dragons in the mountains, you'd think someone would have stopped him by now. I... I don't want to talk about it, the Dragon-Slayer isn't a hero at all!"[/b
One month later...
The snow in the mountains billowed about, threatening to knock adventurers and the like from the top of the mountains. It was peaceful and quiet... although that just set a dreary mood for the stories that were circulating around the wastelands that were Yuki-no-Okoku's snowy mountains. Ever since the dragons stopped showing up, many beasts and creatures had started roaming larger parts of the area, turning up in places they did not belong. By causing the creatures to leave their nesting grounds, the entirety of the mountain's creatures had developed new habits and behaviors. Without fear of the strong creatures, there was no longer any reason to remain in the furthest corners of the mountain ranges. The local villagers had started becoming wary of the mountains after the dragons had left, fearing whatever the Dragon-Slayer that lived in them had become. Once thought of as a hero, he was now seen as a killer that simply wanted to murder and maim anything dragon-like that he found in the snowy wasteland. Those that saw him often reported the fierce look and dead gaze he always wore, as if there was nothing left to live for.
Currently, the Dragon-Slayer was sitting at the edge of a cliff, looking out towards the mountain ranges with a rather distant look in his eyes. There was no one there anymore, the man having checked out of his own mind a long time ago, probably weeks ago. Hood covering his head, the pure white form of Rowan simply sat there in a solemn way, not making any sound as he listened for the flapping of wings... anything that would give a hint as to where a dragon might be. "You can't keep living like this, boy. If you must, at least move into the forest where all the dragons have gone to. Otherwise... you'll just rot away here on this mountainside." Gram spoke to him, the Armament giving a slight glow as it seemed to communicate with him openly now. Over the last month, Gram had watched her wielder degrade and degrade, watching as they look in his eyes slowly became the same look that she held during the last few years she walked on this world. Even now, she remembered the sheer bliss she felt when she finally died... and how consumed with rage she also felt when she realized her goal would never be accomplished.
Rowan had that same distant look now, one that showed the worth of his life. There was nothing for him to live for, no one to live for. He had thrown everyone away a month ago, shutting himself inside his mind and focusing only on the one instinct that his body had left. As such, he embraced the title of Dragon-Slayer and committed to Gram's legacy. He even destroyed platoons of guards that were sent up the mountains to stop him from impacting the environment too heavily. Anything that stood in his way of accomplishing the one thing that he knew he was good at was crushed entirely. "Oi.... Oi.... That bimbo... don't you even remember her name anymore?" The Armament asked as Rowan silently stared forward, trying to see anything that might lead him to a dragon... anything that would feed the only instinct left. He needed a reason, he needed a purpose to live... and he was going to let his instincts guide him to it.

π L A K E __ πΏ R I N I T Y β β β β€ β’ β¬ The last few weeks had been absolutely atrocious. Between everything that had happened, Blake was feeling significantly drained. Of course, she'd never let anyone know that. They'd notified the council about the Witches, so word had been getting around about that. Despite the possibility of the world ending, apparently social gatherings were still important, keeping up the peace and all that. Most of all, the magus was without a Knight, without Rowan... The first few days were the worst as she slowly attempted to grasp that fact. She avoided most everyone for that time but couldn't play that way for very long. After all, there were things that they had to prepare for... For the most part, the woman seemed okay. After losing so much in one day, even her parents were a little surprised at how quickly she "recovered." She'd go out with Natalia clothes shopping, turned down suitors rather nicely, trained regularly in both magic and combat, and spoke to real estate agents on possible permanent residencies for them. This was mostly a front, however, and Blake really only acted how she felt around Natalia. "Shopping together" usually consisted of Natalia picking up what she liked for the half elf while Blake just zoned out with "Mmm's" as she reflected on things, the future, the past... Her wardrobe as becoming much more interesting this way. It was quite a shock to see the dragon kin stick around when Rowan had left, though. Was she really committed to this maid thing or did she just not know where to start when it came to tracking her "master" down? She'd gotten all excited when the rumors of the Dragon Slayer popped back up, rumors that just made Blake sick. It was finally donning on her that he probably wasn't coming back, so the reminder that he even still existed was a painful one. Natalia, on the other hand, wanted to take up the opportunity to find the young man and tried to convince Blake to join her in the mountains, the heart of the rumors.
Why...am I even here? It's not like Natalia isn't capable of going through the wilderness on her own. Seeing him isn't going to help anything... will it? Gram'll probably just call you a stalker, and he'd... I doubt he'd even be interested in seeing me. He left, remember? Why'd I let her drag me here? She thought back to about a week ago when the rumors had started becoming more apparent. Oh yeah. You literally dragged me. I'm starting to think that the only good from this trip will be the fresh air... and what does Nat expect to do when she finds him? Convince him to come home? Doubtful... It's not like I can't make it home on my own if she decides to chill out here, but kind of a lame thing to do, isn't it? At least...it's still just as pretty here. The snow was a welcome sight. There was beauty all over Carmillion, but there was nothing like the shimmering light of this place.
"Natalia... even without mana, even if he hasn't bonded with another Mage, there's no way he wouldn't see us coming. How are we going to find him? What exactly is your plan here, anyway? I mean... I doubt he'll just show up unless something massive does..." Dragons were the least of her worries when it came to being outside the kingdom. The mountains were the closest place to the Dead Forest, and Blake still hadn't gotten any stronger in terms of spell casting. On the other hand, she'd convinced Natalia to help her with physical combat, so between her and Alistair, the magus was slightly less bad at taking things down on her own. "We should probably run if one of the witch people show up. Rowan could take the familiar of the one before, but we weren't even a match." Then it came, like a ball of fire, that annoying little light that she'd been fighting for quite some time: the hope that she'd be able to see him, even if it meant getting hurt again. How desperately she suddenly wanted to call out his name... How sad it was that this little dream was probably going to become crushed as well. Blake smiled with a glance up to the sky. It was still cold here but still pretty. "Hold on... there's light despite all this darkness."

NATALIA - - - - - "Let me show you the supreme art that is housekeeping." NPCβ Dragon Kinβ "Maid" Man, this brat was starting to exhaust Natalia. After about three weeks of playing emotional baby sitter and attempting to convince everyone else that Blake was fine on top of all things. Attending events and stuff was fun, and the kid was actually quite good at putting up a front, but nothing was really working toward legitimately making her feel better. It was starting to become annoying. Even her reactions to Natalia's teasing were becoming lackluster! The only thing that she seemed to be dedicated to was becoming a more effective team player when it came to fighting, perhaps in fear of the impending threat... She'd pulled the bawling mess off that hill, had to listen to her whenever Rowan or the literal end of the world crossed the girl's mind. It was slowly dawning on her that the only thing that was going to help these two were each other. At least...she hoped so. So when the rumors about a Dragon Slayer suddenly started circling across kingdoms, Natalia was the first to suggest going to look for him. There was also the fact that she was indebted to him, not this moody blonde.
"Ahaha, you're right! You're right! He was able to dodge my initial attack oh so long ago, I'm sure he could see your rockin' bod from a mile away. Anyway, I had a couple ideas..." 1: Have Blake summon everything possible and send them out looking for kid. He was still probably too OP for something like that, though, so Plan A was out of the question. 2: Piss off a dragon. Why not? If dragons were what he wanted, then they'd deliver one right two him, play up Blake like she's in peril, damsel in distress and all that. Of course, Natalia would be on stand by making sure the brat wouldn't straight-up die. 3: (and this was the least desirable option) Piss off one of those witch people. That...would probably only end up in their deaths, though. Almost as if reading her mind, the fae girl even mentioned the creatures and that they should probably be avoided at all costs. "Yes, yes, dear. No spoopy world-ending race, understood. If anything," she pulled off one of her gloves and let her hand become enveloped in scales, revealing her dragon-like claw, "I can always just cause a ruckus myself." The woman made the joke with a wink, but the moron was still all mopey, only smiling to look at the scenery.
"C- c'mon, missy! Don't you wanna see your man? At least a little? It's not like your little contract ended in the cleanest way. Wouldn't it be nice to clear things up?" She was still trying to cheer up and convince this damn girl and already had her in the mountains! I swear, the only reason she came is to look at the snow! Agh! I could strangle this girl... Oi! You two are really harshing my vibe here! One of ya has got to be happy, don't ya?
