Eros scooted gratefully closer to the other senshi, glad to have someone around who seemed intent on making sure she didn’t get the tar beat out of her.
“Hey, no problem.” She said as she waved a jaunty salute, keeping a close eye on the monsters that were milling in front of them. There was threat in how they moved and Eros, for one, wanted no part of that.
A sudden… warmth seemed to seep up through her legs and the senshi blinked in surprise, feeling a surge of energy come with it. It made her feel… powerful. Or more so than before. She put that strength to good use and when the monster lunged at her, she swung hard at it, giving it a vicious punch in the face. Dancing back, she kept herself behind Maia, her eyes widening as floating music notes began to flow towards the monsters.

If your character is currently outside, they may notice a sudden, extremely bright light being emitted through the windows of the tower several floors up, lasting about fifteen seconds.
Something is obviously going on inside the tower, as well as outside of it . . .
Tomlin, Guardian Cat – Outside, with Super Sailor Chibi Oort and Eternal Sailor Chaldene
Tomlin was too focused on the new Super Senshi’s transformation to notice or care about the enemy creatures’ power levels. He sat back on his haunches, watching with no small amount of satisfaction as Oort followed his instructions, blossoming into a more powerful form. The ginger guardian barely registered Chaldene’s words. He missed entirely the way he was being stalked.
His brief ride in Oort’s arms had put a little distance between himself and the puddle of black cat, but now his double took advantage of his inattention, pouncing at him with an oozing grace. Unable to dodge, Tomlin rolled with the attack, kicking fiercely with his back legs.
A sudden bright light through the swaying grass turned the two feline shapes to stop-motion as they separated.
Tomlin’s head snapped up, towards the towering tree. The brilliant light reflected greenly off his eyes for a moment, before his pupils narrowed to slits against it. The exact origin was obscured from his low vantage point, but the tall grass lay trampled around them from the fight. It was the same direction as the tree with doors, though some distance higher.
“There! That’s where we need to be,” he said, hoping his taller companions could see what he only suspected.
“Make your distraction, Chaldene. You try your magic too, Super Sailor Chibi Oort!” It was a mouthful for a cat who usually skipped the titles, but some occasions called for a bit of formality.
Hyperborea, Transcendent knight of the Cosmos:2nd floor "Well they feel like chaos, so perhaps these things work like youma. If we hit them enough they will turn to dust." Hyperborea suggested to the Captain. It wasn't a great plan, just hit it till it stops moving, but it was the best she had at the moment. At this point she didn't have to worry about the how and why of how chaos agents ended up on Ida nor did she have time to worry about whether his claim of not wanting to fight was genuine or not.
In a strange situation like this with an unknown enemy she would take any allies she could get. She them fighting out of the corner of her eye and she also noted another knight in the hallway, though he was one she didn't know.
She felt a surge of power enter her as though some force on the planet had granted her energy, She smiled. I suppose this is the world of a transcendent guardian. She thought with a laugh, as she swung hard and fast striking the strange copy of herself with her staff.
Then she got an idea. "Everyone close your eyes and count to three before opening them!" She commanded in a voice loud enough for everyone in the hallway to her. The golden star that topped the staff she held glowed silver as she pushed her doppelganger back and held the staff high in the air. She hoped everyone had listened to her and that these black tar creatures didn't have the ability to understand English. Quickly the hallway was flooded with blinding starlight. Hyperborea waited 3 seconds before dispelling her magic.

Hyperborea's magic
She holds up her staff as the head glows silver. It creates a bright explosion of silver starlight with Hyperborea at the center. It blinds and disorientates everyone in the area(except for Hyperborea). Channeling time is 40 secs

Caia didn't have much time to really consider it, but he realized that he liked fighting on Earth much more than he liked fighting on...wherever they were here. He struck another blow on the strange monster in front of him, but once more it didn't seem to do much damage.
Except, it hit him, with twice as much strength as he did, easily.
He was almost starting to get worried he wouldn't be able to take care of this. But he was still standing, and he could still fight--and he wasn't giving up yet.
Even if this wasn't looking so good.
A flash in the distance caught his eye, but he couldn't afford the distraction; instead, he tried to make sure he didn't let this monster get in any more cheap shots.
Really he shouldn't be surprised that one of those doubles took advantage of them being distracted and had attacked, really he shouldn't and he sort of wasn't. He had expected it would be the chibi's though and not the cats - that surprised him. Watching the cats roll about and fight it out he almost went to get himself involved but found himself moving to avoid his own double striking out at him.
This was getting to be too much, he'd have to put an end to his own double soon - really soon.
The bright light that lit up the area drew his attention before he was nodding to the cat's words. "Alright, you got it." He just hoped his distraction would hold long enough that they could get to the tree. If not they'd have to just finish off their doubles - and quickly. Something big seemed to be happening and it was best, in his opinion, if they were there for whatever it was.
Bringing both his hands up he laced his slender digits together. Two fingers pressed together he blew across the tips while calling out his attack. "Chaldene Wisp's Compulsion. " He had aimed it for the cats double, in order to keep that from getting in their way and possibly tripping them.
For his own double he struck out at them, slamming a foot into their mid section and sending them stumbling back. He really hoped he was able to get them the distance they needed with his magic's use. Did he need to get Oort's double also? He'd likely have to, just not yet...he needed a few moments after the spell he'd just cast.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Chaldene Wisp's Compulsion. Where the previous two attacks either distracted or compelled one to look this attack is different. This spell is different. Rather than just a wisp the opponent will see a bog or marsh with the wisps flickering in and out and hear a beckoning voice, whispering and beseeching them to come closer. The danger of this attack is that as it's a full illusion it will allow Chaldene to sneak up on them and attack, also who knows what an opponent may or may not walk right into (dumpster, a group of senshi/knights).
This spell will last thirty seconds upon which time the spell will end and leave the opponent rather disoriented, after all they were just in a bog or marsh, by the way where did that all go?!
This attack can be used one time in battle (twice if absolutely needed, and it will leave him drained) and like the previous attacks it can be broken early. Attacking Chaldene will break the attack as will attacking the opponent. And again attacking the wisps will do nothing. Since they vanish and reform anyway! Attacking anything within the scenery that is attacked also won't do anything, as they are all in your mind and no one else can see them!
Wherever I am, I hate it. ******** this planet, ******** these monsters, ******** whatever is making that light -- most of all <******** being a senshi! Aue snarled and used the bright light coming from the tower as a distraction, he reached down to summon his magic; there were a lot of people around, and his magic was indiscriminate once cast, so it would likely hurt 'friends' as well as the godawful monsters. Maybe I shouldn't. Casting was dangerous in such close quarters - and if he were to try and warn the people, it might backfire and give the monsters a chance to avoid the ******** it. The shadow-version of himself threw a wild haymaker and he jumped-tripped backwards, irritation swelling to burst over Aue. "Aue Petal Flurry! The senshi of lemons let fly with his magic and hoped it wouldn't get in anyone important's eyes.
And if he caught some of the other monsters? So much the better.

[Aue] Petal Flurry Aue summons a flurry of lemon blossoms that burst apart, petals flying at the enemy to cut (a la lots of tiny paper cuts) and then dissolve into lemon juice, which stings like a biatch in the fresh petal-cuts. The burning/stinging effect lasts for 20 seconds and is most effective if it hits the victim's eyes. :>

Eternal Aegir - Tower; 2nd Floor --> 3rd Floor!
Once Aegir made it to the second floor he stopped momentarily, not to catch his breath so much as to take stock of his surroundings. Sound echoed from further down a gracefully curving hallway - battle, but it sounded...well, it didn't sound like there was much he might have contributed at that point, so he wasn't needed.
Light, pure and bright and accompanied by a surge of energy that felt almost familiar filtered down the stairs; clearly, he needed to go further up, further in. Decision made at the cost of the headway he'd made against his crude doppleganger, the curly-haired eternal had to take further time engaging in acrobatic combat. He took very little damage, fighting this way, and while it might not have been the smartest way to fight, using his powerful legs to batter the monster and knock it back down the stairs, no one could argue that it wasn't effective for Aegir. His legs were his life, his civilian life, and putting them directly in the way of monster claws and fangs wasn't exactly the brightest thing he'd ever done, but it worked. His kick was dangerous, even without the boost being an Eternal Senshi gave him.
"Really, don't get up." Of course it doesn't listen, ugh, I'm gonna be fighting this thing the whole way up, aren't I? But it was shambling a bit, not moving as well as it had been and also had...chunks? missing? So maybe he'd get lucky and destroy it sooner, rather than later. Aegir continued up the stairs, heading towards the third floor as quickly as he could manage.
"You're right," he responded to the pair, "we can't be toying with these." Considering the number of puddles that dotted the landscape, Scholomance knew this threat would have reinforcements ad infinitum. His blood cooled at the thought, and the creature struck him glancingly.
He stumbled off-balance, but was otherwise unharmed. His face still throbbed from the earlier hit but he buried down the pain in favor of another whip strike. Yet, even as he attacked the creature, his inexperience showed - the tip only glanced off the gelatinous shoulder of his attacker. Inwardly, Scholomance cursed.
If only his magic mattered for this.
A flash blew out from the tallest tree, and drew the knight's attention at once. "Something's going down up there. We need to hurry."
The knight addressing them didn't seem to be a very sophisticated fighter -- her notion of tactics seemed fairly straightforward -- but what she lacked in complexity, she made up for in enthusiasm: Quartz barely had time between her warning and her magic to turn away, squeezing his eyes shut.
It was a risk, but not as much of a risk as being blinded. He opened his eyes to find his monster still staggering, confused. Quartz took advantage; he brought across a slice with his spear that severed half the claws on its remaining arm.
Hvergelmir, meanwhile, had retreated toward the stairs. If Ida wasn't here, she had to be somewhere -- and it was likely she was under threat from these monsters, too.
She felt a surge of warm energy -- some kind of answering nod from the asteroid, something to aid her in her search to find its protector and render her aid -- and it strengthened her next strike with her staff, a glancing blow that managed somehow to send the monster spinning.
She watched as the music notes hit the monster and grinned in triumph, if it worked it would slow them down a lot for a while. She looked to Eros as the notes disappeared when they hit the monsters. "My magic is calming, like a lullaby, it tends to slow things down. But the effect varies based on power level. Let's not wait to find out how well it work."
She gave the girl a nod and advanced forward, darting right up to the monsters as the last of her attack disappeared and throwing a punch at the creatures head in an attempt to knock it sideways.
It was weird to once again be fighting something that was vaguely her double, but it happened right. At least the adrenaline rush, helped her focus on the task at hand.
Shang noted that whoever the nega was, his weapon was effective. He backed further down the hall the monster following him, swing at him with it taloned fingers. Negaverser or not, there was strenght in numbers and the monsters seemed singularly focused.
At the speak of this not being normal Shang spoke up, "it certainly isnt normal. I havent been here in a while," though he though to himself he hadn't been specially here at all, "but I do not recall any such goings on and I was here for a decent amount of time."
It was hard to get the words out and try to dodge the monster, it managed to snag his cloth again and cut the skin, leaving small trails of blood to blossom on his skin, leaving a stain on his shirt.
He stumbled, falling to the ground, as the knight shouted about to close his eyes. He didn't want to comply with the monster standing over him as it was, but he did, counting to three. Opening his eyes, he saw the monster seemed off and he took the moment to kick out at the creature before jumping up and making his way closer to the others.
"We should try to find the planets senshi," he said quickly, "after we've get rid of whatever these are. Hopefully she knows what going on."
He watched as the puddles seemed to just gather together of their own accord and frowned ... "Have either of you every heard of a movie called the blob or the story by Stephen King, The Raft."
He took a wary step back, "this is kind of simultaneously reminding me of both those things right now. I think maybe if we want to go inside now is probably a really good time."
He made to move further towards the building but it was in vain as the goo turned into something that looked like him, and he frowned deeply, not likely the idea of fighting his own double. "My magic unfortunately probably isn't very useful against that and I'm not much of a fighter, but he's go nothing."
He wondered if maybe he could get a hold of it, like one of the pigs on the farm or worse a bull by the horns. He moved around making to grab and squeeze the thing, only to be elbowed in the gut and stumble backwards. Yep ... whatever it was, it was just as strong as he was.
Maneuvering proved difficult in the immense grass. The trees stood no closer to where they lingered with these tar abominations, and Scholomance grew more frustrated with the lack of progress. Once again he uncoiled his whip and struck out; the creature grew more tattered with every lash yet never appeared to tire.
He cursed under his breath. We don't have time for this.
