Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 5  Aurora saw it was getting dark, she was fairly used to the dim light of the bellow, but the above just felt like more in a way, more light, and more darkness. Aurora smiled at the girls she had been talking to when the bus stopped, she was about to answer the nixie she had just met when the carriage stopped and the demon Claire announced that it was time to work together to set up camp. Aurora smiled at Cylde and the nixie and headed off the bus to start on then started on her assigned task of collecting wood with her team. Aurora looked around, discarding damp and rotting wood, she found 5 pieces of good solid wood that she brought back to the wood pile with her.

As the bus came to a halt, and Claire delivered her instructions, Nadinia reached out and gently squeezed Nashira's hand. "I'm glad we get to collect wood together. Waaaay better than alone, right?" She whispered, being careful not to interrupt Claire's instructions for the group getting up tents.
After all the instructions were given out, the Dryad lined up with all the other students making their exits. She made sure to accept a lantern from Claire, as dusk was well set in. She also grabbed her suitcase, and hauled it down the stairs, bumping it against her heels the whole way. "Ow, ow, ow." She got a firm bump per step for her efforts.
Dragging her suitcase behind her, she opted to leave it in the area that the other students seemed to be starting to set up then tents in. She was no focused on maneuvering her suitcase, she hardly noticed the branch she half tripped over.
"... Well, I guess that works."

 Tent Maker: Amili
Amount of tents the group has made: 0
For the duration of the ride from the start of their journey to their first destination Amili was silent. She kept to herself, much preferring to look out the window and take in the sights on her own. Above was a whole new world for her to see, and she was eager to take it all in. When the bus jolted to a stop, however, she stumbled forward some in her seat and then glanced around. Looks like this was where they were going to camp for the night? That didn't seem so bad.
The Imp got off of the bus and looked around at where they would be setting up camp. They had divided the chores up evenly among the students, which was a fair decision. The one thing that Amili had going against her, however, is the fact that she had never set up a tent before in her life. "Guess there's a first time for everything..." she murmured happily to herself before she started to try and put the tent together.
After a few moments, she paused, and heaved out a heavy sigh. Setting up tents was harder than she thought it would be. This was going to take some time.

Wood Collector
Amount of wood the group has: 21  Lillith's attention was once again abruptly interrupted, however this time it was due to the carriage coming to a halt. A sense of excitement came over her as the instructor, Claire called for everyone to get off the bus and began sorting people into groups for wood collecting and setting up camp. Deciding that neither task was really better than the other, Lillith fiddled with her hair until the sound of her name being assigned to wood collecting brought her back to consciousness. She turned to her new acquaintance who had been sorted into the camp setup group and gave a small frown and a wave as she turned once more to go off into the direction the rest of the wood collection group was headed. The weight of her backpack on her back proved to be a source of annoyance each time the overly confident girl bent to collect a piece of wood. Cursing the pack in her head, she silently scanned the area around herself in search of more wood.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 23 Bridgette watched as it got darker and darker and tilted her head when the bus stopped. She looked around the area and got up. She smiled at Tambre and helped to get things off the bus. She hadn't realized just how late it had actually gotten. It was getting late and she hoped no one was afraid of the dark. She nodded her head when Claire gave her a group to be in. She looked around in the woods but was worried about others. She looked and it was a bit hard to find the wood. Maybe this had been a bad direction to go into. She managed to find two pieces of wood and hoped she would do better next time. These had been by a bush and she was glad they were dry. She would need to work a lot harder next time.

Tent Maker Coralie Amount of tents the group has made: 0  Coralie said goodbye to Aurora before going with Clyde to get the tents put up, hoping she wouldn't do too bad. She hadn't done an amazing job on her last endeavor, so hopefully this time would be better. As of right now she wasn't doing too good, managing to lose a part of her first tent right away. Now she had to search for that part in order to get it done!

Fidel's attenae finally perked up as night settled, and while the interior of the bus was a bleached, useless blur of light, outside hte window finally started to come into focus.
He hadn't gotten a very good look at his companion, but he assumed he was probably (in addition to the fuzzy bright markings on his neck/chest area) absolutely covered in neon from toe to tip.
It was a relief to be off the bus. He felt ugly (which he knew already) and miserable (why, when that was really the professional way to go about things, not attracting attention), and the other had still refused to use his name, and something about that felt degrading as well, and on the whole he was happy to follow some orders and (with luck) get some time to himself.
He was not sent out into the wood to wander, unfortunately.
Fidel gathered a few bags full of tents and poles, and unzipped the first bundle to hold the instructions close and (in the dimming light) carefully make out the diagrams.

Wood Collector Adhara Amount of wood the group has: 24  Adhara climbed out of her bus seat, excited to have finally reached a stop. She sighed to herself, hoping she would soon overcome the shyness she felt due to not knowing many others on the trip. When she heard her name called for collecting wood she sighed, she was hoping to have a more team oriented exercise to do, but she'd get it done none the less. She grabbed her lantern and made her way into the woods to collect wood. She picked it up as she went, loading her arms with as many pieces as she could carry before making her way to drop it off.

Being asked to build tents was a bit physical for the slender fallen, but he complied with the instructions with the sort of dignified forbearance he'd approached the whole trip with thus far. His book had been stowed away and he'd decided for the sake of familiarity to stick with his brown friend.
This meant Fidel did not get the peace he'd been hoping for.
"You'd think they'd bring people to do this for us. Practically slave labour isn't it?" He seemed quite cheerful in spite of his complaints, actually enjoying the change of pace a little. He'd gotten caught up on his owed homework long in advance and for the time being didn't actually owe anyone anything. "Had any luck so far Dun?"

Azure had lost the chance to say anything to the pink grimm as he watched everyone get off the bus. as the bus became less cowed he soon followed after and listened to the guides explanation of what thy would be doing and who would be in what group, he took this time to look at all the areas to gather firewood, and when the tour guide was done he went to gather a lantern and went to go go gather wood. he wasn't having much luck since everyone got an early start and he had been lagging behind, he came up empty with only two wood to show for, but he went back and continued to search amoungst his group.

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 0  "I can understand that! To each their own, for sure, on the drinking!" She took some more of her tea. "I like coffee, too, sometimes, but I find tea is better if I want to be calmer, and more relaxed. I figure it's better for a longer bus ride." She leaned her head back, and half closed her eyes, as she considered him. She didn't actually say anything else, until he spoke again, which caused her to turn her head and consider him, and his question. She got a thoughtful look on her face, considering this, then finally she said "Two reasons, I guess? First... I've never been to Above, and I wanted to come, and see what it's like. I'm always fascinated by the stories I head about it... So here was my chance, AND I get to go somewhere no one's really been. Second? Second is I hope we'll find some interesting new species in this forest... Maybe new familiars." She paused, here, for a long moment, before adding "I love familiars. I hope, someday, to have a profession devoted to them."
She went silent, pondering this, for the rest of the bus ride. When they arrived at the campsite, she looked up, then at Xerxes. "Want to work together? I mean, we can set up tents next to each other, and talk while doing it... I mean... Up to you, but it'd be less boring that way! Either way, I'll see you when we're off the bus!" She stood, and went outside to gather supplies. She soon was working on building her tent, but man was she confused by it! She'd never done this before, and she could tell it was going to take some time!

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 30 Aurora went about her careful collecting of wood, maybe she needed to stop being so picky, but she really didn't want to make the fire pit start to smoke by picking the wrong kind of wood. She found 4 pieces of wood she put into the wood pile. Then Aurora sat down leaning against a tree to take a breather before she continued collecting wood for the group, the darkness that was falling didn't bother Aurora much since she had grimm scenes she didn't need a whole lot of light to see in the woods. She sighed and pulled her small pack in front of her and pulled out a water bottle and took a few drinks. OOC Rp welcome, quote if intrested.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 32 Bridgette smiled as she saw the pile was getting bigger. She went back out to look around more. She wasn't going to be stopping until they had enough fire wood for the night and their camp. She wandered around collecting what wood she could find and picking them up. Once she had enough she nodded her head and went back to the pile and dropped them off. She looked around and got ready to go back out to the woods to go and get more wood for the pile. She hummed as she worked and looked around making sure no one was in trouble or needed help. OOC Welcome to any interactions or Rp just quote if you want to.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 37  Wood collecting, huh? Well, that was certainly important! Naosu took a lamp and started rifling around with her other hand. Wood itself was easy to find, but she needed to find the right kind of wood. Dry wood, not wood that was fresh and still alive, or had recently been. Stuff that would burn easily. She did her best to examine each piece, wanting to bring good wood back. She soon headed back to the others, not wanting to get too far away and take what wood she'd found before going back out to collect more.
