Fury was sure to stay clear of other kin working away at the grass also, moving to any patches still covered in the green tangle no doubt hiding more of those mysterious small stones. Sure enough, she began revealing more as she tirelessly tore away.

Half Truth pulled more grass. She looked across the field at the three-legged acha doe who was doing an incredible job- there was strength in those shoulders. In another life, she would have gone over to flirt with her- or see if she wanted to spar, which was basically the same thing- but now, with Rose at her side, that wasn't an option she even wanted to consider.

Fury was, of course, unaware that she had caught the attention of other kin. She was still far too focused on the task, but if she had noticed, she may or may not have given a pause at the two does. Actually -- there were many does working hard here, weren't there? Hell yeah.

Again, Fury looked to the obelisk, surprised to see now how brightly it glowed. It was a strange thing to see, but she rolled with it, figuring all would be explained in due time. It better, after all this work they were doing.

"Ah, I'm dreadfully sorry," the stag said after an embarrassed pause. "I didn't mean to ignore you, miss Roses In Bloom. Please forgive me. And I must introduce myself - I imagine my son didn't tell you my name, as he told me yours. My name is Wildflower Breeze," he said, punctuating it with a very formal bow - which was in turn punctuated by a very informal nibbling of the grass.
As he returned to the task before them, he said between mouthfuls, "Your son... sounds like a delight... and a very kind soul. But... even the good ones can be... rather a lot of trouble," he finished, laughing. He didn't notice their attention for the other doe until they commented on her, and he poked his head up out of the ticket of grass he was clearing, still half chewing, rubbernecking around to find out who they were talking about.guess who rolled the wrong dice reflexively

Fury really must have been putting on quite a show with her yanking and tearing, still doggedly clearing away without much attention to anyone else, only occasionally pawing a stone or looking expectantly at the obelisk. If she weren't so stuck on her task, she might have started snapping at any of the other kin not working fast enough to her liking. Fortunately, Fury was in as good as a mood she could be while clearing the plains.

If only Fury's adopted lambs had been here. This surely would have taught them the value of good work. Or, how chores should be done. Ruthlessly.

As more of the grass was cleared, Half Truth could see more of the small stones. An idea was rolling in her mind, but nothing concrete... not until all the grass was gone.

One thing at a time, Fury continued to pull up grass, only loosely following the uncovered stones and figuring they might lead to more hidden under the overgrowth.
