The girl whined, whipping her weapon on the floor, a splatter of blood and fluids splattering on the wall and off her whip. "They are getting bolder. Really...they should know better than to pick a fight with me. At least the Corrupted were a bit more of a challenge. All creepy and oozing and gross."

 KisaAfter another break of sorts, Kisa exhaled sharply, then continued forward. Around here were a couple dozen bodies, mostly low-level demons that had (for reasons unknown) believed that her large-and-growing force was actually worth attacking. By now, she was fairly confident that such efforts were not going to succeed... not when the Harlot, of all demons, was there to show them a very bad time indeed. Still, it was what it was. Ravenna Aodhan, the Sand Snake  She wasn't impressed. These humans fought valiantly, she had to give them that...but they had gotten close to death more times she cared to count. She had little care for the humans, if she was being honest, but her Lord had called for them; and as such, she'd stay vigilant and make sure they would not die prematurely. One of them, though...
Ravenna observed her intently, the girl with the tattoos. Obelyn had plans for her, she knew... but while the girl was resourceful, it was not enough to snatch her attention just yet. The Guard was wary though... and it was the way the girl spoke with her lord with such carelessness that made her to tighten her grip on her scimitar. Who did she think she was? How dare she?
The dark skinned woman jumped off the roof she had been observing from, landing gracefully beside Kisa, her stance rigid, stern. "I do not like the way you approach my lord. Who exactly are you?" Her accent was rich, her voice low and dangerous. Still, there was nothing openly threatening despite her visible aura. "While it is true you have been chosen by him... that does not mean you are able to approach him with such abandon. I am watching you..."
Dark eyes turned back to the girl, her voice turning icier, and for once, the threat was there. "If you dare betray my Lord's trust though... I will end you personally."

Kyouko Nekata, The Seafoam Guardian of the North The girl found herself face to face with a strange man with red hair and eerie blue eyes. She shifted on her place, waiting for him to say anything, but there was something about the guy that just made her entirely uncomfortable. "What?" she finally exclaimed, and she only got a wicked grin in response.
"Oh? You look like someone who isn't used to being challenged. ...Care to test your luck with me?"
Kyouko arched her eyebrows...and against her better judgement, she took a step forward, her head tilting to the side. "Will you give me a challenge? Can't wait."
...
...
She got more than she could take. Long curls were tainted dark red, laying every which way, as the girl uselessly pressed the open, ugly wound on her chest with trembling fingers. Still blood oozed between slender fingers, her life escaping with every second. Her vision was hazy, but she could make out the guy who had utterly destroyed her, standing over her with such a bored look that made her blood boil. He was adding insult to her already pathetic defeat, and she couldn't...take it.
"Pathetic. I really expected more. ... ... maybe I shouldn't have. You are only human after all."
His voice was taunting, and she knew he wasn't going to finish the job at all. "Just...you wait." she managed before collapsing on a fit of bloody coughing. She didn't know when he left and was left alone...
Damn it. She had...fallen like this. She had been...careless. Her brothers would scold her for it. Her brothers...
She would miss them.

 Kansei Ribasu It was her duty to look after Iwatodai but it was in ruins. To make matters worse, her summoning tubes were missing! So much for being protected during this chaos, obviously her precious team mates weren't on the list. No wonder her temper was so out of hand.. And unfortunately a stray demon decided to try and attack her. Kansei disposed of it in no time and moved on to hunt down more, hoping to gain more demons to use in the fight. Kansei Ribasu Demons were over running Iwatodai and it was Kansei's duty to runt hem out as much as possible.. Though this was proving to be quite annoying without her usual team. Kansei Ribasu During Kansei's mission, she came across a horde of demons and set out to irradiate them. It was a difficult battle but the summoner came out as the victor in the end. "Tsk.. Kansei Ribasu Just when Kansei was saying she needed more demons, another horde had found her. Perhaps they heard the chaos from moments ago and thought she was weak enough to pick off. How very like them to assume that.. The summoner fought them off and defeated them like the group before them. She wasn't going to fall so easily, not to them! Kansei Ribasu Kansei had to do the one thing she dreaded, retreating.. Her only demon was in danger of falling in this ambush so she needed to flee to protect it. "Two on one might seem unfair, but I promise you would rather it be US than HER.""Kyouko!" his voice called down the streets, not much caring for the threat of the devils that might close in on him should they hear him as long as his sister heard as well and managed to track them down. And speak of the devil, a rather sizeable horde popped out of a couple of shops as he called out to his sister and sized he and his brother up like a couple of raw lamb chops tossed into a tiger pen. He barely registered their approach, rolling his eyes as the first one launched itself at him. Its head caved in like a smashed watermelon with a single one-handed swing of his nail bat, pinning it to the ground as he looked at the rest of the horde as if to invite them to join him. "That's one, Kyou. Are you counting?" He glanced at his wilder twin with a challenging flash of the eyes, before turning back to the horde that was closing in on them. His bat lifted and settled itself back on his shoulder, his other arm loosely lingering at his side as if to say he were offering them a handicap in the match.
"I'm going to beat you all until one of you coughs up where my sister is," he warned the devils in his calm, intimidating voice, "And even if you don't know the answer, I'm going to beat you up anyway for being so damn ugly."Quote: 15 Tokens

"Two on one might seem unfair, but I promise you would rather it be US than HER.""Twenty seven. And not one iota of useful information from the lot of them," the future summoner sighed as he wished again that he could summon his young devil to handle this simple work for him. It was something of an annoyance not to be able to use him, but he supposed this was a good chance to hone his own skills. He had only used a single hand, but those devils had been cannon fodder before him and his brother. Now he let out a small breath and glanced again down the road, realizing they were getting a bit further from the tower than he would have liked. Kyouko should have gone towards it if she remembered what their plan was, but at the same time, he wanted to find her sooner than the end of that walk. And right now, he wasn't having a whole lot of luck about it. Glancing at his brother, he could see a sizable pile of his own laying on the asphalt. Fairly sure that he won the duel this time, though. Then again, he did have a small head start. Next time would certainly be more interesting. And hopefully with stronger enemies.
"If Kyouko's smart, she's heading towards the Tower out there," he offered as he turned back towards their original destination, "She's not one for skulking in the alleys. Let's take the main road towards the tower for now. Odds are we'll find her on the path. And a better fight."Quote: 16 Tokens

KisaAnother blast of devastation came down from on high, and Kisa dodged to the side - and kept going as the destruction rained down behind her, pausing for just a moment to pull up a pair of girls who'd looked badly hurt by some of the recent attacks. All of that had sapped a great deal of her strength, although Futomimi had been able to conjure up a doll of sorts to protect her from the initial blow, so... it could have been worse, at least.
