Hades sighed. He actually rather did like science and so he was looking forward to the class, unfortunately he clashed horribly with his lab partner and they argued about how to do said labs during class so he was only able to complete two. Ugh and people wanted to know why he disliked them so much.

Design a planet? Ren wasn’t so sure about the assignment but an assignment was an assignment right? He just wished he could come up with enough to fit the word requirement. Ugh what would Ren’s planet be like? Well what did he, himself like? With a deep intake of breath he placed the tip of his pen down on the paper and started writing. From outer space the planet is a blue with white swirls with two moons orbiting around it. As you travel through the atmosphere to land on the planet you notice the temperate is on the cool if not somewhat cold side. You also notice that it is a somewhat dark watery world. Land has long been eroded away and reclaimed by the oceans. Rain and wind constantly pelt your face because storms on the planet can last hundreds of years and they are anywhere from small deluges to epically fierce hurricanes battering everything in its path. Thus sunlight has to always fight through thick cloud barriers.
Still the planet does have enough oxygen in its atmosphere to sustain life and life can be found both above the ocean surface and below in its depths. Below the water surface all sorts of bio-luminescent life flourishes from tiny plankton to giant glowy kelp forests. In what can only be called giant reptilian like sea monsters dominant these waters hunting and catching fish, and other unfortunate sea life. Ocean vents draw even more life and are scattered about the ocean floor bringing some warmth to the dark waters.
Above the water life has had to evolve buildings that rest on giant platforms drilled down into the ocean floor. The buildings are sleek, extremely durable and dome-like in appearance. Living inside the, the dominating species is grey and almost Nixie like in nature, but they stand on two feet and drape themselves with flowly graceful clothes. there planet created. This would be enough right?

Aurelia was pleased as punch that they were doing something with astronomy for science class! She loved stargazing about as much as cloud watching....oh but they had to actually find a constellation and write about it (and not just admire how sparkly they were or imagine what they tasted like.) It took her a bit to look in a book until she found one she liked enough to search for. Actually FINDING the constellation took some concentration that the nixie didn't think she had, at one point discouraged enough to almost quit and go for something easier. She squealed with absolute glee when she finally found the glimmering pattern of Pegasus. One happy dance later, she was writing out her report;
The Pegasus constellation is named after the mythio mythological winged horse that sprang out of Medusa's neck after Perseus cut off her head. Pegasus was the offspring of the sea god Poseidon and he flew off after he was born to Mount Helicon, where he made friends with the Muses and made a spring called Hippocrene by stomping his hoof on the ground really hard! Anyone who drinks from the spring becomes gifted in writing poetry. Pegasus was tamed by the hero Bellerophon using the golden bridle that Athena gave him and helped the hero defeat a lot of monsters before they tried to fly away to Mount Olypmus. Bellerophon didn't make it but Pegasus did and he was used by Zeus to carry his thunder and lightning. Eventually, Zeus placed him in the stars as a constellation but only the first half of his body.
Happy as can be with both her find and her report, she would hand it in to Miss Flora the next day.

Science wasn’t Aleis’s best subject but she wanted to graduate the academy and get on with life. So it was time to focus on her studies. She had a couple arguments with her lab partner but they seemed to get through at least 6 labs, that was pretty good right. Well she was at least happy with it for now and it was kind of fun to watch all the different reactions.

A planet? Design a planet… Mai sighed and tapped her pen to the piece of paper. Her creative talents leaned more towards art than writing but she could try after all. What would her planet be like…. As you travel to the planet from space you notice it looks a lot like Earth. However unlike earth it would have three moons and each moon is considerably farther away from their planet then our own moon. Moving on and traveling down to the surface you would notice a world somewhat like our own. However most of the world was ocean in nature only broken up by a huge continent and several other smaller islands scattered around. Life was abundant and flourished in most places.
On the first continent near the north it was cold and wintery what wasn’t covered in ice was harsh and unforgiving. Large whale like fish migrated here to eat large amounts of krill. Life and plants in this section of the planet were strong, tough and durable.
Traveling down from the wintery north and near the middle east of the country as if cutting right through the middle section of the contentment was a desert. It was filled with all sorts of life from giant carnivorous flowers that lured nearby animals in with their sweet smell to giant cats and vultures coated in a deadly poison.
Going further south one would run into the islands, tropical in nature they boast fruit not found anywhere else on the planet. Animals live in packs and are either of the bird variety or of the small fluffy animal variety. The islands are all surrounded by natural tall walls of stone, creating small little havens. In the nearby tropical seas, the giant whale-like fish from the north come to mate and give birth to their young. There that was good for a planet right? Happy at least for now she went to turn in the assignment to professor Flora.

Nepheline wasn't entirely certain about allowing the class to play Mix 'n Match with a lot of chemicals and elements, but surely the teacher knew what she was doing. And they were all wearing protective gear, so it had to be okay. With a small grin at her partner, the demon immediately got to combining.
By the time class was over, she'd managed to try out six combinations and made notes on them all. And for at least three of those combos, she'd been intensely grateful for the safety goggles and gloves she wore. And she'd only had to visit a rinse station once when a tiny droplet had landed on her wrist. All in all, a successful class, she thought as she handed in a set of slightly singed notes.

Kaimana looked up the Wise constellation which was in the shape of the musical instrument the goddess Mnemosyne held in their hand in many pictures. Kaimana wrote about the story of Mnemosyne, practicing without rest for many days, to improve their art. It reminded him a lot of himself, and how Kai loved to sit at his piano for hours and hours each day, working to become for skilled in his art. Kaimana admired the Wise constellation and the goddess Mnemosyne, for all the things they stood for art, working hard for your goals. So Kaimana would always look up at the stars and think about the Wise constellation. Letting it help to drive him on in his practicing every day. Kai looked at what he has written and bit his lip trying to think of anything else he could write. He sighed when he couldn't think of anything else. He just hoped that his teacher thought this was ok.

Sign picked the constellation of the Hunter, the god Kallistos. The information said that not all the stories about the Hunter constellation were literally about hunting. Sing found an interesting one about the god hunting for love, which he found rather funny. That he went from place to place, searching for someone who captured his heart, to only in the end discover that he didn't need that kind of love. He had found love for other things, finding a deeper connection with his family. Finding the love of actual hunting and archery. Sign wanted to find all sorts of love in his life, maybe someday, likely of the kinds that Kallistos had found, Sign wasn't ready to let anyone else in his life. Sign was happy the way he was, playing his guitar, being with his brother when he had the time. Romantic love wasn't something Sign intended to hunt for.

Alecto didn't really care much about the stars, so he picked the big dipper and made up a story about the Ursa minor constellation drinking milk out of the big dipper and getting in trouble with Ursa major so making a mess. Alecto then laid his head down on the table to take a nap and dream about the silly story about the stars he had made up. Alecto giggled in his sleep thinking about the story he had made up. Alecto woke up and looked around then wrote a little bit more about the dippers and the Ursa. Maybe going star gazing at some point wouldn't be so bad after all. Alecto finished up and looked around wondering what the other students were writing for their science assignment. Alecto tapped his pencil on his desk, drumming out some beats while he waited for class to end so he could get back to his drum set.

Tabe decided to write about the constellation the Protector, which was shaped like mountains. Tabe wrote about the stories of everything that Oreia sacrificed to protect others. It was so noble and it was what Tabe wanted to do, she wanted to do everything she could to protect others, people, families. Tabe wanted to defend the weak just like the stories said that Oreia did. She wanted to grow up and become a police officer or serve in the military so she could do just that. Tabe sat at her desk daydreaming about being like Oreia, the protector. Maybe taking a magic wound rescuing some little freshling. Perhaps a foolish dream, but it was Tabe's dream to do big things when she grew up. There was so much that Tabe wanted to do when she got older, being a protector was a big part of that dream, she thought of that every time she looked at the constellations shaped like mountains.

Chau sat down thinking of planets, he picked the cold rocky planet of Dumin. He wrote down that he was a cold planet with vast huge mountains. The planet had 3 moons. The animals that lived on the planet were described as tough furry yeti-like bear beasts. Their culture was primitive and harsh, living in small tribes, caring for their families and hunting for food. They lived in caves, hunting for food in the deep woods that covered much of the planet. Chau wondered what it would be like to visit the planet and if the people there would be friendly to an outsider or scary. He was betting on scary, since they had never seen anything like the Bellow, or the Above. Where things were peaceful now. Chau was amazed by the scientists who had secretly been studying these people and had reported back information about the planet and it's inhabitants. Chau certainly didn't want to go, he did however, want to go to the art room to make a model of one of the creatures that lived on the Dumin planet. Chau sighed sitting waiting for the science class to end, he couldn't think of anything else to write at the moment. He really hope he had written enough to make his science teacher happy. Chau started doodling pictures of the creatures on the side of his paper. Trying to do something to pass the time till class was over. He bit his lip and hummed to himself.

Cybelle wrote about the thus planet of Tewlie, it was like a rainforest with tons and tons of animals all over the planet. The planet had all kinds of plant life, huge trees, giant flowers. The planet was ruled by a money life race called the Rafique people. Their people lived in huge beautiful tree houses. The culture of wild free people fascinated Cybelle, he loved reading about the warm climate and the rain that fell every day making the planet a wonderful place for the Rafique people to live. Food grew easily and their culture was simple and happy. Cybelle wished his childhood had been more like that, rather than listening to his parents bickering about ridiculous things. Cybelle wrote more about the flowers, plants, animals and other things on the planet. Cybelle wished he could go there, feel their sun on his wings, see the two moons that went around the planet. To taste the fruit, they described in the books about Tewlie. Cy was sure the planet would be amazing in person, seeing the pictures and reading about the planet was great. Cybelle hoped to some day learn even more about the planet and it's people. Cybelle sighed unsure what else to write about the planet, it's suns, moons, climate, plants, animals. Cybelle sat thinking about his next invention wondering if he could make a monkey robot. He wanted it to have a prehensile tail just like the Rafuque people, and he wondered how he would manage to do that with a robot.

If there was one thing Lori did enjoy, other than spending time with her brother, it was looking up at the stars. She wasn't sure she was going to like Science classes at all, but if they involved starring up at the sky and looking at stars, then she couldn't really complain! It didn't take her too long to spot one she really liked, identify it, and then pull it up on the computer to write about.
Andromeda is known as "the chained lady" and received it's name in relation to the Perceus stories. Andromeda was the daughter to Cassiopeia, the Queen of Ethiopia. The Queen bragged about her daughter's beauty and the nymph's grew jealous of the Queen and her daughter, asking Poseidon to punish the Queen for what she dared to boast! Poseidon commanded a sea creature to attack Ethiopia and the King was told the only way to save his people was to sacrifice his daughter to be eaten by the creature! Things end up okay in the end though because Perseus save Andromeda, they get married, and have nine kids together! Wow. Athena honored Andromeda with a constellation of her own when she later passed away.
Lori was quite happy with her report by the time she turned it in to her teacher.
