Xavier perked up slightly as he moved closer to inspect the girl and her grub-lusus. The boy adored anything insect like, especially something that was so small and…well cute. Normally the troll boy didn’t think too closely about such things, as all living things in nature were ones he appreciated. However, he watched as the little guy bristled and reacted by spitting a jet stream of water at him.
His own jacket sleeves flailed in a vain attempt to stop the water that now covered him. Squealing in dismay, Xavier nearly leapt out of his skin. Blinking in dismay the greenblood went to wipe his own face…before the other troll beat him too it.
Smiling warily at the pair Xavier nodded in a form of greeting to the yellowblood from the looks of it.
“Xavier. It’s nice to meet you both..I believe.” He added sheepishly as he laughed just a bit. He was a timid child to be certain, but respect for those around him always came first. No matter how Xavier looked at it, he had shoved his face in the grubs without giving him any time. In the wild he wouldn’t dare approach most wild fauna like that either. He felt dumb for having done so now…he’d just wanted to admire the little guy.
Brushing off the frown he’d wore, the freckled jadeblood offered a hand out. His eyes averted to his boots..afraid to bother the lusus now as he'd made it mad. He would occasionally glance up at the troll he spoke to however.
“Thanks for coming by our booth so much. I really appreciate it yuh know?” He replied with a wider smile then despite the mishap.
Anu herself kept a close eye..but knew it was best she didn't smoother her child. He was not in any real danger, and could handle himself. Bloodfest had turned out to be rather enjoyable for her to spectate with all the children running around.
