Laurelite smiled sweetly at the lieutenant and seemed happy to answer her question. "In due time, yes. The General Operatives unit operates differently than the others. I have high expectations for the Generals in that branch, and I rely heavily on them, and the Eternal Senshi, to guide our new recruits as they adjust to our system. I strongly recommend any member of the General Operatives Unit who is interested in joining a branch to attend the meetings of our General Sovereigns. They are scheduled so any interested parties can attend, regardless of which Branch they serve."

Laurelite seemed to glow, and while any of the others could have answered, she continued, "We'll have locations sent out on the Crystals. These three," she gestured towards Hessonite, Axinite, and Lepidolite, "Have offices on the second floor. They are still moving in, but should you have a need to speak with one of them, please log onto the computers in the Castle and send in a ticket. You'll be able to schedule a meeting that works for both of you from there."

Amethyst might have been absent when the invasion happened but the Captain had seen and heard enough from the accounts of those who were treated subsequently at the infirmary to know that the invasion had cost the Negaverse a great many among their ranks including their two General Queens. Apatite was lost to them; Laurelite brought back from the brink of death and recuperating until the day when she was fit enough to make a public appearance before them all once more.

Amethyst wasn't expecting today to be that day.

It hurt to see the scars that Laurelite now bore compared to the time when he saw her last. Scars that still remained and reminded all of them of the humiliation and defeat they suffered at the hands of the senshis and knights on that fateful day. Now, seeing the change in Laurelite, where once a General Queen stood was no more but something even greater as a result of their combined efforts, Amethyst rejoiced together with the many others around him, bowing as well to pay his respects and welcome their new Queen.

But that was not all that Metallia and Queen Laurelite had for them it seemed.

For shortly after medals were presented to reward them for their efforts, Queen Laurelite went on to introduce three new General sovereigns who would be taking over the running of the three sub-specialised branches: Intelligence, Infiltration and Special Operations. General King Lepidolite, General King Axinite and General Queen Hessonite. The timing couldn't have been better and it was testament to their new Queen's foresight in addressing the lack of leadership with her recent transformation and Apatite's passing.

"General King Lepidolite." The Captain stepped forward and gave a respectful bow to the General King whom he was addressing. "Would you be able to elaborate a little on this new school that you have in mind and the age of the students who will be eligible for enrolment please?" He already had a part-time appointment with the medical college at DCU but he figured that he could always explore the option of transferring his appointment since it would likely benefit the Negaverse in the long run.

Super Sailor Typhon

Apparently, Typhon's cheers and catcalls to the woman who now became the queen a military organization in an otherwise silent and respectful audience would be viewed as "disrespectful," "obnoxious," or "inappropriate." Well, what a bunch of uptight whiny bitches! The blue haired Corrupt Super Senshi of Hurricanes nearly started to boo his peers for their judgmental looks and lack of enthusiasm when he felt a tug at his hair - and not a gentle playful tug, but a forceful tug that caused him to lose his footing and fall straight on his a**, right at his General's, Xenotime's, feet. From the ground he looked up at her - apparently unamused by his charm! - and flashed a dopey smile that usually worked in his favor. But most eyes were still on Queen Laurelite, who he noticed gave a slight smile in response to his cheering. Score.

But just as he was bathing in the glory of his new Queen, three new forces entered the picture: the new General Sovereigns. The three of them introduced themselves: General King Lepidolite of Infiltration, General King Axinite of Intelligence, and General Queen Hessonite of Special Operations - his division as well. There were three new faces, which only meant one thing to him.

"Hey, boss," Typhon whispered to Xenotime. "Marry, ********, Kill: Lepidolite, Axinite, Hessonite."

"I'd ******** the s**t out Lepidolite," he started explaining, as if this was at all an invited conversation. "That dude is looking father as ******** right now. And have you seen the size of his hammer? Now that could mean two things: He's overcompensating or he's flaunting. But goddamn. Now that's some power that I could get under. Literally. Or behind." He shrugged.

"I'd marry Hessonite because s**t, protection for life," he continued on. "Also look at that badass mother ******** style. Our house would be luxury. Pure damn luxury. Some DJ Khaled level inspirational s**t. Though I'm pretty sure if I ever stepped out on her she'd cut my d**k off and I'd prefer to keep myself in tact. But in the mean time? UNF, yes."

"And I guess I'd kill Axinite. Sorry bout it. Hashtag-YOLO."

Captain Sanidine

Sanidine wasn't sure what he should be making of all of this. Sure, it was great for the Negaverse, but it didn't mean anything to him. He didn't care about what they were doing—how could he, when he had more important things to do?

He glanced down at Evan; even for a youma, he could tell that the creature looked exhausted. Sanidine figured he should be, too, except he still had an adrenaline high. He paid attention to what was being said, not because he cared, but because he hoped one of them would have something to say.

He didn’t know enough about the Negaverse to be impressed with a new Queen, or to know what the importance of three new General Sovereigns was going to be. He only cared if they had any information on youma.

But they didn't.

Of course, they didn't.

Sanidine didn't know why he bothered even entertaining the thought that he could rely on anyone else for anything. The only one he could trust, in all of this, was himself.

And he'd done what Metallia wanted. He'd helped the group fetch her crystal, stayed for her meeting, and played audience for her new leaders, or whatever.

It was a nice break, but he had business to get back to.

His little youma problem wasn't going to fix itself.

The night was still young.

Corrupt Fulgurite

Everything seemed to be breaking up now that the new General Sovereigns had introduced themselves and announced plans for meetings. Since he was in GenOps, Fulgurite took note of the meeting that would be called for them and ignored the rest as unimportant. He didn't have to specifically answer to any of these, except for the new Queen, he guessed. He certainly had enough to deal with with his own superiors.

The cat that had tried to get his attention was gone, and with no one else trying to keep him there, the young corrupt was more than happy to leave. As other started, he turned and went with them, an eye out to catch a captain or a super who could teleport him back to the city. It might be a bit of a hike home, but whatever. A good run would do a lot to clear his head and get him ready to sleep.

Hopefully without dreaming of a smiling pair of brown eyes and gentle hands on his face.

General Xenotime

Whatever the general thought about the new general sovereigns that were introduced, she kept her opinion to herself, expression guarded and neutral. At least until Typhon's voice pipped up again at her feet. She looked down at him, at the length of his ponytail still held tightly in her hand, and considered simply giving him another firm yank, though that really wouldn't have shut him up. Nothing shy of a proper distraction ever really did, and even then, it wasn't as if he was ever quiet.

The question he posed wasn't an unexpected one, not with how well she knew the inner workings of his mind at this point, and she gave a very small, clearly exasperated shake of her head, fingers loosening their hold on his hair so it could slide from her grip. "If you want the answer to that question, you'll have to ask me again later." In private.

A pat to his cheek, almost fond, and she was turning to scoop Marcasite into her arms, apparently preparing to return home. Natrolite, she saw, had already taken his leave. That was fine, she would deal with him later. Once she'd figured out in what way. He'd done his job, done it well, but she still wasn't happy with his tone, nor the look he'd given her as the other general-sovereigns were introduced. Defiant, still. There was a fix, she just had to find it.

For now, she had an injured lieutenant to tend to, and a corrupted to congratulate on the medals he'd earned himself. "Let's go home."

Lt. Huntite

Since they had all been dismissed and it looked like it was just question and answers or meet and greet time left, Huntite decided to head on home. He had a work shift tomorrow and while he would be willing to lose sleep over a mission or training, there would be chances to talk to their new Queen and General Sovereigns later. He made sure to let Benitoite and Witherite know he was heading off then left the room in search of someone who was leaving that wouldn't mind teleporting him back to the city.

Lepidolite had not intended to speak again, he had said what he needed to say—what he had been allowed to say, though when a blonde captain wanted to know more about the school, more about his prized project, well. He wasn’t feeling up to spilling all of the information, especially as so many agents had left. It was a pity. So many of them had looks of disgust on their faces. Were they so opposed to the assistance of outsiders? Well. That was going to have to change. He would not condone mistrust from his officers.

Clearing his throat, the General King took a step forward once again, inclining his head at the Queen and receiving permission to speak. “I will elaborate very much on it in my meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend, which is why I made sure it was on a separate day from the other two. I am hoping that you will all help me to make this school the very best that it can be. Right now, the school is just for high school students, but I would like to expand if we find that it is a good system, perhaps we can one day make it an accredited college, and maybe even a middle school, just to make sure that the younger population are getting the right idea about the war.” He gave a dashing grin. “What better way to stop those order cats from turning more children into young senshi then by making sure that they are in good, wholesome after school activities, right?”

He nodded at Amethyst. “If you have more questions, please put in for a meeting with me. In fact, put one in anyway. You seem like you have things that you want to say, and I am very interested in listening.” The General King took another step back, indicating that he was finished speaking.

Captain Titanlåvenite

She answers for the Sovereigns, but not for herself. Titan rolled a shoulder, hooking that hand restlessly into the weaponloop of his belt. Was it deliberate? It might mean that she was no longer taking any audiences from the lower ranks at all, or only from certain ranks and above. Or only when she directly called audiences, instead of on their need of her. Or she didn’t care to share the information? All that and more, and he couldn’t keep up with trying to navigate the possibilities that were implied or intended. Maybe nothing was. Maybe Laurelite has simply misunderstood that in his asking, while he included all of them, it was a matter of formality and politeness to the newcomers only— he was interested in talking with her.

That the process was going to involve, in the only indicated possibilities, the computer systems with their tiny keys and strange interfaces, made his hope sink further. Inputting what contributions he had to the InFos system had been a nightmare he never wanted to repeat. Requisitions having to use technology only, instead of more interpersonal relations and communication, might as well have been an uninvitation to him at least to being more functional or helpful to the new regime. It could be they’d prefer officers like me be Youma.

But Laurelite had answered, so Titan bowed his head to her in thanks. And there was an officer missing that might need to be sought. He looked to Moonstone again, “Would you like help to look for him? We can follow steps back? And try the communicators to him out of this meeting? “

“No more happens here.” He shifted and started out after the many others from the meeting area, turned to invited her along if the other captain desired.

Haüyne, Corrupted Super Senshi of Execution

OH. Well, at least there floating was something the entire division was going to be doing, or sharing in? Was that something to be comforted about? Well, that could work itself out. But WHO ARE the generals in the Gen Ops? Oh man. I need to figure that one out sooner rather than later.

Which meant keeping an eye, or two (or however many some youma seemed to have) on the rosters as they were released shiney new with their respective transfers and new leaderships. The meeting was getting more and more sparse, so even as a people watching expedition, pickens were probably better out in the halls. At least until everyone went to team-y type places. If there were more teams that really glues like a couple that had looked to be units.

How many makes a team, even? Maybe Bus and I can be a team. Like Bonnie and Clyde. Butch and Sundance. The corrupted super bounced, turned, and headed to better vantage for crowd watching.

General Schörl

Keeping the division, but turning it over to Generals? It’s either a designation as canonfodder, or it just became the only division anyone can get anything done. General Schörl turned precisely on her heel. The rest next question was fulfilled vaguely, signalling all the more that questions was a formality, and no more of import would be imparted until the announcements they had combed and prepared.

Let’s stop standing around a giant mess.

Captain Moonstone

His answer had been, initially unsatisfactory, but she had remained beside the massive Captain through questions - the answers were food for thought, but she spoke nothing of those for her mind was stressing now over her missing companion. Wasgo dropped him in the thick, I am sure...but from there where would he have gone? Under a rock to hide?

Titan's offer started her out of cheek-biting thought. "Yes, if you are not too worn. He is...useless without guidance." The way Moonstone spoke the word 'useless' seemed less a dig at the missing Proustite and more an endearment. "My youma will help, too."

She followed the broad shouldered blond back out, away from the newly minted queen and replacement support heads, already calling for the comfort of Wasgo's great form, injuries pushed aside in favor of action.

A school for high school students. That was going to be hard to justify a transfer of his education appointment from the medical college at DCU though they could explore perhaps the option of holding ad-hoc pre-medical courses if there was enough interest or demand.

In any case, it didn't look like General King Lepidolite was keen on revealing too much at this point in time until the actual meeting itself so Amethyst decided that he would save what thoughts he had till he got more information lest he risked going entirely tangential and wasted the General King's time. "Thank you for satisfying my curiosity on your upcoming project, Sir. I will do my best to ensure that I'll be there for the meeting."

And with that, he bowed and teleported out.

Well his question had been answered and it was about time to go now. At least he could stop for food on the way home. He didn't talk to anyone as he exited, though he did have to ask a captain for a way out of here.

Well, it was good to know what was going on currently at least so he was still in the loop. He didn't want to be behind everyone else when it came to information about the negaverse and although he felt incredibly tired, he was sure that he would be spending more time getting to know these new genera-kings/queen.

Right now though, he was trying to make sure his stomach wasn't being heard as he left.

The purpose behind gathering all the items and going through the trials they’d endured looked as though they were not unwarranted. Metallia had her plans and showed them her might. She took each item and the injured General Queen Laurelite rose to become their new Queen. Her strength was obvious in the way she held herself, and Bloodstone knew she would be the one to lead them down the path of victory over the senshi and the knights of this planet.

Thankfully, it seemed as though his companions were not as injured as he feared they would be. They all held up rather well after everything they’d gone through. Even Hyrda, who was injured more so than the others, was still standing and didn’t seem to need to be rushed to the hospital.

The introduction of the General Kings and Queen who were brought in surprised him a little. He hadn’t realized they were in such need of help that they had to call in an outside source, but he supposed they were a bit in over their heads with the problem they had in the city. Had he not been attacked by a youma that fateful night not so long ago, he wouldn’t have realized how much of a problem it really was.

They were all impressive, of course. The Chaos that seeped from them was enough to keep those of faint heart at bay. They introduced themselves one by one. They spoke of their experiences and where they were stationed in the past. The General King Lepidolite spoke of a school he planned on opening in order to boost their numbers. It could potentially be risky for them, but he trusted the General King’s experience in the matter.

Queen Laurelite seemed to be doing much better, at least. She smiled and spoke to them softly as though she hadn’t almost been killed in the recent confrontation with the senshi and knights breaking into Negaspace not too long ago. It was good, he supposed. He didn’t allow himself to think suspiciously of those high ranking officers, because he didn’t know what they had gone through, and if she was faking her well being or not. All he could do was stand by General Aurostibite’s side and tend to the wounded.

After a while, once the initial questions settled, the General Kings, Queen, and Queen Laurelite took their leave, which prompted others to do the same. It would be wise of them to get as much rest as possible, because Bloodstone had a feeling that things were about to change.

Lieutenant Reinerite

With her question answered and the Queen, General Queen and General Kings all having taken their leave, Reinerite figured that it was perhaps time to take her own leave as well.

She held her medal as she looked round for her General.

Tonight had left her with a lot to think on.
