Buffel stood in the crowd, watching Peepaws and RRR prepare for their match. He had purchased a small yellow gerbil headband in support of this clashing of titans. Peepaws had taken down his last champion, but Buffel brisked up at the thought of giving the gerbil one more good brush. And RRR was a gerbil of grit and passion! Ever the underdog supporter, he set to making a hastily crafted sign from some spare paint left on his sarape from the watercolor festivities previously.
Soon he was finished and a weird hodge-podge sign read “RRR!” in mixed yellow-green paint. He sat it up and surveyed his masterpiece.
“Perfect! That exclamation point should give Peepaws the ol’ shake-up real good!”
Proud of his work, Buffel set about heading to the event so he could cheer his blood-thumper out. As he scooted towards the stands he spotted an open place to stand, right up next to the glass.

Tying the cloth neatly around his left wrist, Buffel waited for the combatants to enter the ring. Along the way he’d made some important adjustments to his sign, a stroke of last-minute genius. The sign, which had previously read “RRR!” in gigantic letters, had now been added to. In the corner of the flimsy paper was now an addendum atwixt the top of the page and the previous message. Now with tiny letter smushed on top, the sign read “(RRR is the winne-) RRR!”

Buffel held the sign above his head, hootin’ and hollerin’ up a storm as the match began.

“YOU GOT THIS RRR! DON’T GO GETTIN’ BIFFED BY THAT MANY-LEGGIN’ MENACE! SHOW ‘IM WHAT YER MADE OF!”

The odd might have felt mighty slantindicular against ‘im, but Buffel was certain this time the underdog would win out in the end!

Eyzaak had been watching everything with a sort of dramatic wondering fashion as the last of the gerbils were packed up. It was almost sad to know Bloodfest was about over. He'd had a blast, even if he hadn't done perfectly. If anything he'd gotten plenty of rad things to talk about for weeks if not months to come. This event especially had been pretty sweet, given the content. He had to try and ask around back home to get his hands on some. It was on his list of Needs To Have.

Just as he was about to finally go find Sundry and track Autumn down maybe, he felt something hit his arm. His brow scrunched as his eyes flickered to the side looking for the source. "HEY! WATC--oH!" He started to yell as he nudged at the other, growling until the recognized the older blueblood. The smaller troll's eyes gleamed with child-like wonder.

"Yo! They were so cool I really liked 'em too. Your booth rocked dude." The kid's toothy smile followed along with a little sheepish rub of his neck at the praise. In fact he still had his booth swag he'd bought from the nice goatmom. Eyzaak was amused. Finally sometroll who was cool and also recognized him? Eyz couldn't ask better.

Brushing his own thumb over his nose, Eyzaak smiled up at him as he tipped his head back to get a better look at the other. "Eyzaak! Nice to meet ya for reals!" He replied excitedly, a bit awe struck by the older kid.

Eyzaak listened, barely able to contain himself from shouting his resounding delight at being invited along. Leeroi had easily earned his respect, and the fact he was inviting him along on an adventure sounded right up the child's alley. "Ohh? For real?! Hm." He pursed his lips, tugging at his scarf thoughtfully.

The blueblood boy made up his mind rather quickly as he replied without much delay. "Heck yeah! My lusus is around here somewhere...he probably fell asleep again so I can ditch out whenever. Sooo~" He replied, drawling out the last bit accompanied with a thumbs up. "I'm down for any and all competitions! We'll see who can hang in the longest ha! Can't wait to meet your buddy too." His crooked smile followed as he crossed his arms over his chest with a determined look on his face.

What could possibly go wrong? This was gunna be great.
