 Daddy had dropped her off to school early, her finding the place filed with these were slime things... cool! Eva wanted to befriend one of them! Without a second thought she began to run around after them, wanting to take one home with her ", Please little slimes! Be my friend!"Unfortunately she was just scaring them off, causing her to fall to her knees in tears some. Did they not want to be her friend? No one had ever not wanted to be her friend before. No, that couldn't be it! Maybe she was just scaring them?

 Two tries later and Amatsu had decided that he hated bushes. He made a note not to tell bismae if he ran into the naga any time soon. The slimes where fast little critters and Amatsu could swear that they were taunting him, luckily his patience was still holding. Hmm he just had to think of a different way to catch them… did the fireproofing of the school work for the foliage outside of the dorms? Somehow he was pretty sure that was a yes….tch.

 Vincent sat and waited for a bit. After several long minutes listening to all the laughter around him he began to wonder if he might be wasting his time, but he decided to be patient and wait just a bit long. His patience was rewarded. Right when he was thinking of crawling out of the bush to try chasing after some more slimes, there was a rustling and a colorful blob poking its way into his shelter. Vincent pounced, and managed to finally catch hold of a slime. When he wiggled out of the bushes and got a good look at it, he laughed aloud. It appeared to be the very same one he'd been chasing this entire time! Grinning broadly, he cradled the slime in his arms and started for home, working on an internal speech. Giselle would probably need a little convincing to let him keep the slime, but he as sure he cold manage!

 Samara lay down the food pellets and waited. Since there were still a ton of slimes indoors, if not more than there were outside, she decided to put down the food pellets close to her dorm, and hide in her doorway. She didn't have long to wait. A slime came up the hall almost as soon as she hide, then paused to examine the food. Once she was sure it was distracted, Samara pounced! Finally she had caught one! The slime seemed initially startled, but settled down quickly as soon as Samara gave it the remainder of the food pellet. It was actually kind of cute... "Okay, I've decided," she announced. "You're mine now." Nodding in satisfaction, she brought her new familiar back to her room. She hoped they got along with Velvet.

 Well! It seemed that even though she could herd the slimes, when it came time to scoop one up Topaz hit the same problem she'd had while running after them. It was just too difficult to scoop one up, not when she had to bend so far down to get to one and when they were so fast! It had taken several failed attempts at herding, and then several more successful attempts, and she'd still gotten nowhere. At least it seemed like most of the people around her were having some luck. Maybe she needed to switch up her strategy a bit. She glanced down at her fuzzy legs, wondering if maybe her fur would help her catch the little stick balls.

 Somansh was just trying to find a spot to read her book for class, finding all the noisy slimes to be in her way. Normally she would just find a more secluded spot in nature to go... but these things were EVERYWHERE! They were even in her dorm, which her roommates were working on catching right now. She couldn't just scare them all off, she wasn't one to scare these poor creatures. Maybe... she could try to catch them? Putting her book away, she began to sneak around the academy, peaking around corners and tip toeing her way through the the school to try and catch one by surprise. So far she was being heard before she would even get to them, mostly because she would accidentally hit the wall or knock something with her wings. Besides them being half of both her heritages, she didn't like how they only got in the way and she couldn't fly.

Exodus noticed that his little boy caught himself a slime and grinned, giving him a thumbs up! "Thatta boy, Ezra!" he cheered excitedly! He waited a few moments before diving right back into chasing around slimes. He missed it, but again... he was enjoying himself too much!Matty rubbed his little hands together as he got himself into the game! Wanted at these cute critters and beat the family to the chase! Smirking, he went right for a cute little thing! Totally missed it, but that wasn't going to stop him!Ghester was all for the craziness going on at school right now and jumped right in to helping try to catch the slimes. He was a bit of a mess on his feet at first, but there was always next time!

 Being one with the music, his song started to become more upbeat his voice becoming more bold and loud. Surely everyone around him who was trying to catch these slimes thought he was weird, but he wasn't thinking that. He was just simply singing and doing what he liked to do. A few of the slimes were getting curious, but were being scared away by those rushing in to try and catch them. Eventually he ended up stopping his singing, taking his instrument and moving to a new spot were there would be less people around. They were being too loud for him, even more so than the slimes.

This was actually getting kind of frustrating. Amatsu would touch them and then they’d make his claws all icky and then slither away…. He was tempted to wonder if their bodies could handle a textbook being thrown at them. Amatsu then took a deep breath. It wasn’t the slime’s fault. It was his for missing them. Calm… deep breaths.

Exodus 'hmmm'd to himself as he paused, catching his breath. These little things were turning out to be trickier than he thought he'd be! He leaned over, placing his hands on his knees as he realized this was the most action he'd seen in forever like this. Holy gosh.Matty chased after the crazy slimy things with all he had, but this was def not working out. His girls, work and school kept him pretty busy, so the fact that he was chasing something else was tiresome quickly! He missed another slime, but maybe he'd take the next try just a tad slower!Ghester didn't have to be in the game long. After limbering up some, he tackled a cute, pointy tailed slime and held it up over himself as he rolled over on his back. "I think you wanted to be caught lil dude!"

Picking herself up, she puffed up her chest and walked over to one of the slimes, kneeling before it and offering her hand for it to shake (Although after the fact she was wondering how could have the slime shaken her hand?) ", Hello, I'm Axum-Vesta, Eva for short. I want to be your friend!"The slime just kind of blinked at her confused, begining to bounce off away from her to find something else to do ", Wait! Why are you leaving?" She got up and went after it, but not too fast as to not scare it.

Since herding wasn't working so well, Topaz decided to use a wait-and-watch technique. She spied a group of brightly colored slimes over by the gardens, and went over to try her luck with them. She got as close as she dared, then just sat completely still. Most of the slimes went around her, close but not close enough for her to grab. However, one of the little slimes decided it was curious about the big brown and gold thing. It wiggled over to Topaz and began to curiously climb her leg. Feeling equally curious, Topaz lifted her leg and gently bounce the slime. Rather than being startled, the slime seemed to enjoy the ride. How funny, all this time running around and all she had to do to catch one was to be still! Huni Pi Gifting this to Narra

Eventually he started getting tired and sat down. So it was with the weirdest glare pout face ever that Amatsu looked at the critter that had crawled into his lap of all things. Oh… so now it wanted to go home with him. Well maybe it had just been lonely and wanted to play. Amatsu could understand that. Well he had one now and it was his. Now the only question was… what did you name a slim?
