This character of mine is French, and usually uses a variation on the same French name I've used since forever, but since I wanted a different name entirely for this RP and already had a first name that wasn't French ... and didn't go with any of the surnames I tried out, ugh. HOURS OF MY LIFE GONE. Eventually managed to get one that sounds okay and passes as French Tunisian, but geez. Even though it's the year 2327 and none of these countries even exist anymore, so it's not like it matters. lol

I've done the same thing with characters haha and like I just sit here like an idiot muttering various names to see how they sound and if they flow or sound totally awkward together. haha and constantly have pages and pages of various surnames or baby name sites open or something xD it's funny because I wanted my character to be French and was going to have her speak French as well as English but I wasn't sure if that would still be a thing and if it would have survived xD
