Hey, she was totally cool. Even after we broke up.

I think there's entirely too much emphasis on genitals when it comes to relationships. I mean, sexual preference in bed is one thing, but for me, relationships are more about personalities than what's under a person's clothes.

But I don't really have a preference for any genitals when it comes to sex. If I love someone and have a real connection with them then whatever genitals they have work for me.

Aww, how sweet! Despite the blunt talk of genitals. I agree, if a girl actually manages to attract me, so be it. But for now... it's the men. sweatdrop

It's true. I'm only partly attracted to what's under Jack's clothes. Though... ninja

You have made me blush with every single post you made last night.

I've known I was gay since I was 11 years old. It just sort of happened without me realizing it. I broke onto the Internet with my father's computer while he was at work, and logically, I looked for things he told me to never look for (Porn, etc.) And for some reason I was much more interested in the guys than the girls. Eventually I just stopped looking at the women altogether.

And yes, I went through the denial phase as well, where I tried for most of my high school career trying to date women and squelch the rumors that I was gay. I hated myself for the way I was and tried very hard to stop being gay. When I met CannibalisticSpork many years later I realized it was stupid to try to be someone I am not, and officially came out to everyone, though I admit I follow the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. If they don't ask, I don't tell.

I don't believe there's anything wrong with that. I've only told people that I've either known long enough (i.e. five years or more, it's amazing if I can keep up correspondence for much longer) or if they have the courage to ask. It comes with having years of people speculating for years who I liked. Female best friends were always convenient targets. stare

At work, I'm very closeted. I do everything to make sure that anyone with a brain would know, but I won't admit to being gay.

Anywhere else, I'll check out guys and girls equally, and I'll just generally be myself, thereby confusing the hell out of everyone around me. If someone asks whether I'm gay, I respond with shock and say, "You mean you didn't know?"

In other words, I don't hide it (except at work where apparently it can get me fired, and I'm this close to not caring there either). If straight men can flaunt their sexuality, then I see no reason why I can't either.

I love that. Nice passive-agressive comments. Must take notes.

I regret using it now, but this goes back to an ED post I made almost a year ago how "everyday is Straight Pride."

Because I'm gay in the South, and the law does not protect hell-bound heathens.

stare Please don't talk like that. You sound too much like my parents and that's disturbing on many levels.

I guess they must be more forgiving in geek establishments. Management didn't care much. I did have issues with some customers calling me "f**" when I couldn't tell them anything about their sports cards.

Sadly, too many people like that exist. We have a lot of work to do. *pulls out tommy gun*

They definitely are. Security is also particularly unfair. Most of my coworkers are uneducated, middle-aged, former military leftovers-of-society.
