She had heard rumors that the stars listened, and that sometimes, on nights just like this, they granted wishes to those most worthy. Time and time again, the red eyed mare looked up at the night sky with suspicion, and even a little dread, unsure of the stars intent. Even if she did ask, and if the stars dare answer... would she want to know the answer? Who was she? What was she? And . . . was she as alone as she felt? Mihr had lived much of her life alone, and while she was healing physically (with the aid of a companion), she still felt out of place.
Surely, she had to come from someone. . .but who? Did she have blood out there? Did she have parents who loved her, or had they abandoned her out of shame? Was she as much of a disgraced monster as she felt, or were there other reasons? Most importantly . . .was there anybody out there whom could relate to her? So it was, the mare decided that tonight was the night she'd whisper her questions. She doubted the stars would listen to her.. .but maybe if she just got it off her chest? So it was, Mihr quickly set down some golden bangles, looked around to ensure that she was truly alone, and she tentatively prayed. ". . . I don't expect you to listen, if . . . if you really are there. But I am alone. I have no family, no connections save a single friend. . . and I know not where I belong. What am I, stars? Am I truly a monster, a mistake? Does any one know of my name, or share of my blood? Is . . . is there anybody out there? Do I . . . want to know who's out there?"
Heaving a heavy sigh, the mare couldn't help but feel self-conscious. Silly of her to be bothering the spirits. There were others more worthy of family, of hope, than she. Maybe there had been a reason she was alone, abandoned, without a twin. Maybe there was a reason she didn't know of her kin. Perhaps it was better this way. So it was, the golden eyed mare quickly tuned and slipped back into the shadows, back to where her companion lurked. She didn't want him to think she had slipped off . . . or for him to find out of her secrets.

The Alicorn stumbled up the path, head bobbing up and down to the sound of music only heard in her head. When she reached her destination she paused, almost as if she forgot why she was there. Staring at the various offerings piled up she took her time, thinking long and hard until she could remember. She was here.. for a reason. What was that reason? She reached into the darkest corners of her mind, until the faintest bit of laughter could be heard. Laughter from a male she remembered. Kinda remembered.
"Oh! Oh! I'm Mitzi, you see? And I need some help, Sugah."
She looked up to the stars, smiling awkwardly.
"I'm kind of lost, you see? And being lost ain't no fun. But the thing is, it's not being lost that gets to me. It's being alone. And I wasn't always alone you see.
She frowned, stopping to think.
"I don't really know how long I've been alone, but I've been alone a long time. And I think.. I think if I think hard enough, I remember I had family? But I can't remember. I can never remember. But I know I wasn't always alone.. and if.. if you can help me Sugah, I would be the happiest girl out there."
She frowned again, swaying back and forth nervously. She pulled out a worn out card, placing it with all the other offerings.
"I know, I know that don't seem like much Sugah, but that card.. it.. it means a lot to me. Whether you can help me find what I'm looking for or not.. thank you for listening to a crazy little girl like me."

Rouxe stood a little ways from the herd. Her blindfold was gone, and her red eyes glowed bright, the light glinting off her helmet and casting a bloody hue upon her mane. She'd done it; she'd raised a daughter to be stronger than her, and just as loyal. Most importantly, she'd raised her daughter to kill. Rouxe had done her duty, and brought to the herd a member they could be proud of, one that could make up for her own failures.
Yet, despite it all, she felt no relief. No matter what, Rouxe could not end another's life, and by extension she could not fulfill the honor-bound task her gods have given her. All that was left to her was to train more to stand in her place, and succeed where she could not.
Please, she thought, eyes beseeching the star above. Please, grant me another daughter.

Some would think that believing in a wishing star would be illogical, but not to her. There were hundreds of soquili out making wishes all across the land. For that many soquili to believe in the same belief there must be some truth behind it. Ichika was a believer in the belief of others, and so she too could believe.
She plucked out her feather and placed it in a clearing that was easily visible to the famed star. "Mighty Wishing Star I have a wish to request of you. I have run from my clan and I hope never to be found. There is one who knows me better than anyone. He is vicious and mighty, his claws have killed more souls than the trees that I can see here. He is my brother. If my clan was to ever send anyone to hunt me down, they would send him. Please mighty star keep his claws as far away from me as possible. I do not wish to ever see my brother again for surely it would mean my death." With that Ichika threw her head back to show her throat to the star, as was customary in her can to show respect and submission. She had a secret wish in her heart as well, but she did not tell it to the star for she knew it was an impossible wish. She had once tried to change her brother and have him run away with her. But he was stubborn and kept his vows true to the clan. Ichika left alone.

Illeyana reaches up and unclasps a silver chain from around her neck, pulling out a shifting purple/blue crystal necklace. "This was given to me by a dear friend, I leave it in hopes of finding more friendships, a symbol of the friend I want to become. The stone is Iolite, it sorta represents who I am becoming and what I want to continue to change." Taking the crystal in her hand to warm it and inset and intention she clasped it tightly and looked up at the special star, whispered a "please" and laid it down upon the altar.

Aiyana sat at the top of a hill, just enjoying to peaceful quietness of the night air. She knew that soon the nights would be a lot more active for her, now that there were going to be little ones in her life again. This did not bother her though, she was excited at the thought of being a mother to young foals once again. It had been what seemed like ages since her last batch of foals grew up and started having families of their own. So long in fact that even her some of her grandchildren had grandchildren of their own now.
Aiyana looked up at the night sky and saw a bright, glowing star high above her head. She stared at it for a moment, admiring its beauty before her thoughts returned to her soon to be little additions to her family. "Oh how I miss the sounds that accompany having little ones around!" She thought out loud to herself. "The cute little laughter and the sound of them running around playing..I wish that I had another little one right now to enjoy this beautiful night sky with me." She closed her eyes and smiled knowing that soon enough she will have that again. She opened her eyes and slowly began to get up, still unaware of the magically properties that this particular star possessed.
As she got up, a single flower fell from her mane and floated to the ground. Not noticing the flower she began to walk, or rather waddle, back down the hill to where she had left Curaçao sleeping.

Crusnik had heard about the star. She hadn't believed it was possible until she saw it happen... So this time when the star appeared she made her way to the hill in secret. She placed her earring on the silk on hte ground and looked up at the star. She was a rational horse and often these kinds of things required emotion. But she simply had a need. She felt a bit of emptiness now that her son Bass was gone and Rosen was still around but she was always busy with work. She wanted another foal to help her feel 'needed' again. She stared up at the sky speaking in her mind and willing the star to grant her this.

Jess leaves one of Cleaver's feathers with a ribbon wrapped around the end in a bow. Short IC Response: She laid her offering down amidst the other trinkets strewn about on the alter tentatively. That Relic had done this behind her back had irked her at first, but the relationship she was developing with her daughters was surprisingly positive. Relic had been true to his word in accepting her faults, and they worked together to keep her away from them during danger times. The girls were like an echo of what she could have had with Sangria and Jezzabelle, and a part of her felt like something was missing. A son, or at least a third to truly give her a second chance at what she had once thought she could never have. It made her wonder what would have happened if she had tried to keep her previous children, but then she thought of poor Belle who had had to suffer her unstable mother by herself. With a shake of her head, she sternly reminded herself that those times were in the past, she had made amends with her daughter and her mate was dedicated to helping her be a good mother.
With that thought she whispered a plea to the star before turning her back, returning to her children and mate.

She is protective to those around her because of that, and due to her size she often puts herself in front of those that would harm anyone important to her. She avoids the nightmares by not sleeping, which causes more than a little issue with her grasp on reality. Cyanide brought a few of the ashes from her parents cave, a long thin white hair from a passing pony, and wrapped it all in the leaf of a rather intoxicating plant, setting it down, she glanced around at all the other offerings.
"Look, I know you're busy, and you've got lots to do, but...just one little thing, a friend for me. A small friend a big one. I don't really care. Just someone for me to be able to hang with, because I miss my family, I miss them all, but they're gone beyond your powers, and this...this seems like something you can do. I can't get them back, but maybe you can send me someone who can become my family....I don't know." Taking a long look at everything around her and looking up, pleading, "Just one thing. Just this. I'll never ask another thing..." She sighed and turned around...her wings drooping a bit, "Someone to help with the nightmares..." And those were her parting words as she left to go and find more of the roots she ate to stay awake.
