Chance really should have learned his lesson from the last time he tried to wrench something away from Otto. He at least didn't fall off the couch like he'd fallen off the bed, but he did tumble back a little, holding his prize.
"I'm a big fan of sleeping too, but at least I'm not a pillow hog," said Chance delicately.

"Hey look, you're just gunna have to deal with it." Otto said haughtily, slowly turning himself around on the couch. "Ain't like I'm aware of it most of the time."

He held the pillow to his chest and grinned at Otto.
"Don't worry, I can deal with you just fine."

He made a face, reached over, and clapped Otto's face lightly between his hands.
"You know, even when you're being a s**t, you're still endlessly interesting," said Chance with a grin.

Otto tried not to look too smug with himself. Tried being the key word. "It's how I get away with everything." He murmured back with confidence.

"It's because you're so warm and fuzzy," Chance teased, patting Otto's cheek affectionately before he finally let go of his face, a smile flickering across his expression.

Otto huffed, impatiently wanting to know what the heck Chance was plotting. "Fine. Whatever.." He thought pretending he didn't care would ease his curiosity. It didn't.

Chance picked up his book again, completely innocently, and flipped so that he was lying with his head in Otto's lap, not doing much to hide the grin that was now on his face.
Then he began reading again, because why not.

Allowing Chance to use him as a pillow, Otto put his earbuds back in and laid his head against the back of the couch. He wanted a day of doing nothing, and so far it was actually perfect. Idly, he played with Chance's hair, and daydreamed music videos in his head while each song played through.
