Shiro shook his head slightly. He began the class period by believing he was going to be chewed out for his truancy and now he's learning the ancient arts? A slightly evil grin formed across his face as the Djinn left. Oh, this was so much better than what he thought it would be. He looked down at the faye still resting in his palm and quickly turned to the door and left.

Breanna was changing day by day in this way; from casual, to carefree, to business-like, to a mess and back around again in varying patterns. She gave a weak smile to Lucian as she sat by the window that brought her the crow who brought her that wand. She grew out of that too, and was fiddling with a smooth rock as the rest of class filled in lethargically.
"I'm... Interested to see what you have for us today," she finally offered up half-assed to the Djinn.
By the time Luka had returned to the halls of the school, second period had already begun and it was now passing time. She was hoping she'd have time to visit the main office and find someone she could talk to about her newly found position. But that would have to wait. For now just focus on class and she could go during lunch. Or she might even be called down who knows. But she'll worry about that when it happens.
Entering the class, she immediately found that this class was much more popular than her recent one. In fact Luka already had so much experience with dark magic she didn't really have any necessity for attending. But she just assumed the extra knowledge might be useful. Who knows, maybe the student body president might need to fight some battles here and there.
As the classroom filled, Lucian was following behind his students filling in the classroom. As always, the wolf familiar Amadeus trailed behind Lucian. "Greetings, my dears" Lucian mused wickedly to his students. The Djinn strutted to the center of the classroom then turning to face them. "Today we truly dive into the dark arts" Lucian said now wielding his ruby tipped scepter. Amadeus's runic glyph covered body glowed magically. "Today you will learn to harbor the very darkness within you. The true black magic in you!" Lucian said all too evilly. Some students cheered with great pleasure while a few were frozen with fear. "As I said in the beginning of this semester. This class is not for the faint or heart. Or weak willed pathetic fools" Lucian said glaring to the few cowering students. Lucian never wielded his scepter unless he meant business. "Any questions before we start? Ask now. Or forever hold your peace" Lucian said darkly to his class. The Djinn was emitting a regal yet dark aura around himself. As beautiful as he was, the beauty was equally as evil.
Luka couldn't help but stare in awe, not because of powerful he seemed, not because of how skilled he seemed, but how.. Enthused he was? Was that the word? 'It's just dark arts.. It's not that special.' She thought, her attention slowly fading as it did with most things. However it would be rude to not make seem like she was paying attention. However, that didn't last very long.
Luka saw something stroll into the class room from the corner of her eye, which caused her to turn her head in that direction. "What on earth.." She muttered, leaning over her desk to get a better look at the transparent being. "Oh.." She blinked a few times, registering what stood before her. It was a cat. A Savanna breed. Unfortunately, this being was no longer alive. It had been a while since Luka saw anything dead wondering about, but it was extremely common for her to see them at random times.
But what interested Luka the most was the fact that this cat was on campus, and not just on school grounds, but in the building. "I wonder where your body is.." She muttered again. The friggin' cat had actually sat at the teacher's feet, causing her to grumble in agitation. As sad as it was, she couldn't focus with it hanging around. So she began to flick her hand towards the cat, gently shooing it away. Forgetting not everyone has her special ability.
Lucian seemed even more devious than usual today! It was just enough to knock Breanna out of her slump, rocking the little jay of dreams from its perch by way of elbow jutting out over the--let's be honest--poorly kept desk. There was hardly any oil on it! A resounding squeak was the exclamation point to the powerful strut and smirk and sentencing to death (maybe?) of the kids who had fallen into a state of semi-awareness regarding the danger; even the more talkative and apparently studious among them only really grasping the surface tension of the gravity implied in the Djinn's words.
From the edge of the sonic dissonance came floating back a somewhat detached sound. It was as if there was some murmur in the ventricle of knowledge, and from where Breanna sat it sounded as if someone was casting a spell--or something. She double took and saw a face she hadn't recognised yet to date. Breanna never missed anything, therefor this girl was new; the deductive reasoning was strong with this one, and its logic... Was infallible (for all the iRobot fans emotion_yatta ).
"Are you new here? ... It sounds like you were casting, were you?" A note of shadows would melt into shape on Luka's desk. Apparently Bree had been practicing quite a lot and had found a spell which was very Harry Potter in nature in that it was perfect for little notes like this. All she had to do was tap out a sequence on her casting stone and voila! A shadow text was sent.
"Lucian, sir?" Bree said raising a hand. "Are we going to need our familiars... For extra power?"
Luka even went as far as to slightly hiss at the deceased creature. She couldn't have the little running about and causing a ruckus in such a potentially dangerous class. She continued to glare at the innocent looking being before something else seemed to catch her attention. 'Hm..?' Luka looked down back at her desk, leaning back into the uncomfortable chair. 'Well that's an.. Interesting way to use magic.' She hadn't often seen it used in such a casual manor. Luka was so much more keen to the idea of sending trivial notes on small bits of paper to someone, having other people pass it on if that person wasn't within arms reach.
How was this done again? It must have been simple enough to catch on to. But Luka didn't want to risk messing it up and causing unwanted attention to herself. Instead she looked in the direction of which the 'aura' so to speak of the spell radiated from. A Witch's sixth sense came in very handy at times. After looking at the girl she slightly gestured her head down towards the teacher's feet, ever so slightly pointing down to them, hoping the girl could see the harmless feline.
Bree was held in suspense for a while, checking her periphery once in a while to see if her message was received, as it was, by Luka. She noticed she was looking straight at her instead of writing back. That seemed odd to Breanna, who took it eventually as a cue to look at her. Following from that Bree's eyes went to a space somewhere near Lucian's feet.
"... What?" Bree mouthed as she looked but could not see whatever was to be seen. Try as she might there was just tile to see. After class she would ask Luka about it for sure.

*The Playful Djinn, Lucian(Lulu)*
"But Vincent..one little spell? Hehehehe"
"Luka! Bree!" Lucian's voice boomed as he slammed his scepter down on the marble floor. "Today's lesson will need your up most attention" Lucian said walking closer to the two. "Less you wish to be swallowed alive from your own power" Lucian said glaring down at Bree then to Luka. Lucian turned and walked back to the center of the class. "To harness black magic as your own force, you must dive into your most powerful emotions" Lucian said raising his scepter. The ruby at the tip of the stave glowed and emitted a bright light. The classroom was completely black. Students still could see eachother and Lucian. "Hate. Love. Fear. Wrath. Those are the most common emotions in which a magician unlocks their truest and darkest potential!" Lucian said tapping his scepter on the ground. Soon the sounds of heart beats filled the room "Listen to your hearts! Tap into the darkness and make it your own" Lucian said regally yet evilly. Amadeus cowered behind Lucian. For Lucian was not himself. Lucian's red djinn eyes shot to a student who asked a question. "Love is equally as dark as it is light! Love can cause anyone to do unspeakable things. Like Revenge perhaps" Lucian said. The Djinn's heavy alluring voice mused all around the room. It was enticing, enlightening to the students.
Damn, it didn't look like the girl could see it. Maybe if she made a gesture of what it was? Like Charades? Yeah, maybe Luka could mouth something or do something that would mimic a cat. Like.. Curling her fists slightly to mimic paws and.. Curl her wrists back and forth just above her ears, or maybe make a pawing motion of sorts. 'Yeah, that should be obvious enough!' But as Luka was about to begin the ridiculously cute Neko-like action..'THUD'. Normally a teacher's wrath wasn't enough to startle the dark magic-using girl, but this week was just not her week. Jumping back in her seat a little, she couldn't help but peer over to the tiny feline. It was still in the same spot as it was before, but it appeared to have been affected by the loud sound as well. As a normal reaction a cat would normally have, the small creature was hissing, hair standing on end, back arched, tail straight and fluffed out, the whole nine. This could be a problem. Animals are obviously self aware and know the meaning of death and when it occurs. Just as humans will, though, they will not always realize they're dead. Being stuck like that is how poltergeists and shadow people are born. That applies just as much to animals as it does humans. If this cat became either within the building, who knows what trouble it could stir up. Especially within such a dangerous class.
'Wait.. Didn't that girl mention something about fimilars? And summoning?' Even worse, that cat could easily get mixed up in today's 'lessons' if not taken care of. Sooner rather than later.
Maybe if Kira was here, she could ask the Reaper to quietly take care of the specter, sending it off into the after life where it belonged, but that was not the case this time. Yes, it is very true a responsible Necro (as Luka like to refer to herself as) and a Grim Reaper such as Miss Delphine worked in very similar ways as did their views and values of such topics. However one key difference between the two was something only a Reaper could accomplish. Leading the dead back to the after life. A Necro could never accomplish such a task even if they hoped to. In fact they normally did the opposite and summoned the dead back to life, forever binding that empty shell to its new Master. Luka of course, did not do this. However, the most she could do was take the soul herself or send it back to its body, which she would need the body on hand to do anyway. A cat is just a cat of course, but she didn't know how long this cat had been dead or how long it had been wandering about. Better safe than sorry. And with that thought, Luka took the soul of the lost and hopeless creature.
"Nunc cuncta rerum debita.." Luka whispered, beginning her enchantment. Of course she was still listening to what the Djinn had to say, but this was more important. Slowly yet steadily, a black mist like-hue began to seep from her finger tips and her whispering lips. It was subtle, but noticeable to anyone paying any attention. "Exorbitant a semita.." She continued, the mist reaching towards the cat, like a shadow becoming larger and larger due to the setting sun. Luka had already assumed, someone would notice if the teacher didn't. If she got caught, then so be it. Her actions were completely justified. 'Speaking of teachers.'"Penitenziagite.." She thought, her eyes narrowing and shooting towards her peripheral vision. This one didn't seem right. It was good that he was taking the subject more seriously, not beating around the bush but.. then again..
"La mortz est super nos." The Witch finally finished. The soul of the cat had been consumed by the shadows seeping from her body, then brought back almost as if she had devoured the soul herself. Or so it seemed. If the Djinn really had been watching Luka, it should be evident, she was not one who should be lectured about falling into darkness. If anything, She should be the one watching him. Luka desperately wanted to say something, anything. She hated being talked down to, and as much as every fiber of her being screamed for her to tell him off, she stayed silent.
Breanna shuddered the way a frightened--and battle ready--cat might when her name stabbed through her conscious. For a moment a snarl could be seen on the corner of her mouth; but as the moon is only approached in a brief moment of ignorant following this was a fleeting sight. No on puts baby in a corner... Bree had made herself perfect for this! For that, rather, as it was its own end and meant to be enduringly endearing to all around and simply enjoyed as adequacy.
It was replaced with her normal smile.
"Yes, sir~!" She beamed at the Djinn. When class was over, however, there would be no friendly chat into the mysterious void of the soul. Instead she went straight to Luka; a form of protest?
"Hey... What did you see? I'm normally spiritually aware, but I missed it... Was it a ghost?" She'd grown used to the assumption of things being phantasmal when invisible, after all. After her answer, intros were in order.
"I'm Bree. Just in this class for curiosity's sake, but, well, I ended up making a contract and now I sort of have to snoop around." A slight giggle, then her eyes wrapped around her periphery to point at Lucian's creepitude. The ghost-watcher's face stiffened.
"So, I brought lunch; if you want we could go to the library and study a little before next class... I could, uh, show you that trick I did!" Bright as ever, her voice was the best cover. One could wonder if dishonesty was a powerful enough disposition from which Black Magic could draw. She'd leave with or without Luka.
Luka felt a rather unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something just wasn't right with that man. But there was nothing she could do about it now. As she began to gather her things she was approached by that girl from before. "Oh.. Uhm.." She was caught off guard. "It was a cat.." She trailed off. The girl look scared, it was just question after question with her. Strange, she seemed very bubbly. Luka wasn't use to that at all. "Bree, huh? I'm Luka.. Lunch..? Oh, sure. I don't think I brought any with me though.. Are you okay? You seem scared.."
Lucian was surprised by the amount of students who unleashed their power. The Djinn wore an elegant and wicked smile as he class was leaving. A few students stayed behind to chat with Lucian. These students were known to be teachers pets of Lucian. "Enjoy your classes,my dears" Said the Djinn in his adoring words. The oddly loyal students smiled and bolted off. Lucian eye's then shot towards Bree and Luka. "Amadeus..my dear" Lucian said eyes on the two girls who left. The wolf stepped forward snarling, it's eyes glowing a crimson red. "The half-breed.....get her out of the picture" Lucian's words were harsh yet elegant. The wolf's manor became for feral. "Be it death or simple distraction. I leave it up to you" Lucian said tightening his grip on his scepter. With that Lucian turned and sat down at his desk. Amadeus gave a howl as his body melted into the shadows and vanished. Lucian looked down to the crystal ball on his desk. The crystal sphere glowed and showed images of the school. What seemed like men dressed in black robes were slowly infiltrating the school. "It's time I made this school my own" Lucian smirked evilly.
Wandering about mindlessly once again, Aroura managed to find herself in a.. Classroom it seemed? It looked rather empty, not deserted but more like no one had been there in quite sometime. Obviously used for some sort of magic subject.
"I wonder why no one is here.." She spoke to no one in particular. Looking out the window, gazing at the view of the campus from such a height. Suddenly the strangest urge came over her, walking closer and closer to the window until finally she was able to touch it. Somehow, slowly managing to open the glass frame, letting the cool breeze fill the room.
