Bren nodded, using the thin and obvious excuse of checking his table and seat once more to make sure he hadn't left anything behind so he wouldn't rudely stare at the ghoul too much. There was definite discomfort there that he hadn't noticed while he had been preoccupied with his own social failings, but he wasn't about to comment on it if his words made her upset.
"Yes, we should. I have several things I wanted to look up at the library, and now would be the perfect time." He may have smiled unironically at this, but he didn't notice he was doing so. There were always things to look up at the library and it was always a good time to do so.
The reaper gestured, implying that Serafina should exit first, then followed her out of the room, purposely avoiding the teacher's gaze. He would definitely have to brush up on his proper behavior before he attended another class with Professor Winter.

Rojo went even more still than he was normally. Tear up fancy dresses? On purpose? He could hear Mami screaming from all the way back home. It was certainly dark, but he didn't think he could handle inflicting that level of horribleness himself, even if it was true to the party's theme.
"You are the master of darkness, my friend," he breathed, thankful that the topic was quick to change. And back to something so interesting! "I would definitely like to see! Let us go be badasses!"
The skeleton hopped to his feet and skipped after Ignatius, leaving his supplies behind. No big loss. That notebook wasn't really sparkly enough for him anyway.

A quick glance toward Ahm, a silent conference conducted in a moment. There would be obstacles in the way of any potential visit to the Clanhold, but that just made the idea more appealing. They would have to work for this. Frankly, Nahm looked forward to it. Sometimes he got bored with classes, with homework, with the routine of it all. Working on a good Plan would be an entertaining break, and pulling one over on the Council was worth trying for.
Ahm had their permission slip covered, so Nahm didn't take a second one; they would both be providing guidance and explanations and a primer on the basics of how to navigate the requirements of visitors to a grue clan. An essay about Clan etiquette would take far more than a single piece of paper, and that was taking into consideration that the tacit rules Nahm was bound by were subtly different from those demanded of his twin, due to their grandfather's favor, and different again from those followed by grues with different rankings and statuses within the clan. They would collaborate on this project. Nahm grinned inside his hood and stroked the cover of his notebook idly with his fingertips.
He looked forward to visiting other students' homes, as well. Even aside the thought of the varied foods available and the interesting things to see, they had been sent to school in part to learn about other creeples' backgrounds and make the social connections that other grues might not have. This was an excellent opportunity to do just that.

It wasn't exactly a punishment, not really. Jory wasn't going out of his way to hurt Zaire's feelings, he simply wasn't vindictive enough for that. He also knew himself, and he knew he had to be strong. He was still hurt, still wasn't quite sure he'd made the best choice. It made him a little cooler to his boilfriend, a little less accommodating to the mahamba's whims. That was the point though, wasn't it?
Maybe?
He frowned up at the other boil as he got to his feet, notebook tucked under his arm. He didn't comment on the huffing, the rough shove of the chair. Instead he took a last look around the class before heading for the door, sure the taller boil would be right on his heels.
