The night came and went. Aurora slept into the morning, stirring to wake up finding herself tangled in the sheets, holding onto a pillow. Perhaps she had still wanted someone beside her for the night. Rubbing her face, Aurora pulled herself away from said sheets and pulled them in a make shift make of the bed. The room was still plain, though the walls and sheets had color, so she couldn't complain much.
Checking out her hand Aurora decided to go without the gauze today. It would be a bit sore, but otherwise should be just fine. Her stomach rumbled, seeing as she hadn't eaten dinner the night before, demanding food to make up for it now. Pulling on the dress she also grabbed the tights she had arrived here in and tried to hide the run off to the side a little while pulling them on. Barefoot again she moved out into the hall and down into the kitchen for some food.

Sason hadn't slept at all, he probably would have if he had someone with him to relax himself with. Instead he was the one who greeted Aurora while drinking a cup of coffee. The effects of a sleepless night and his episode last night we're evident. His usually flawless face had dark circles under his eyes and his whole body kinda lacked energy. Even the waves of power that usually come off of him we're weak, his down heartedness was having effects all over his body. If he either didn't get relief or get over himself soon, he'd be right back where he started. And if he wanted to keep Aurora safe he couldn't have that, despite his resolve he just couldn't lift his mood at all. When Aurora walked in he tried his best to smile "there's fresh coffee if you want some and fruits from the local market" he says pointing to the half full coffee pot and the large bowl of peaches, apples, bananas and more, all fresh and delicious looking. He looked her over ajd had flash backs of last night, which gave him splitting headaches "aagh" he groaned holding his head as he final request to him 'not like this' rang through his head like a gong "then how?" He whispered mainly to himself

Walking in and seeing Sason had more of an effect on her then she thought it would. For whatever reason she was greeted by a lingering warm feeling. She looked around the kitchen for Francis but didn't spot him. Smelling the coffee though, she thought that certainly sounded nice, and drew closer to it, as well as Sason. It was then that she got a better look at him, "Still hungover?" She questioned, thinking it the only explanation possible. He felt muted, as though weak, though maybe it was also that the wine had worn off a bit.
Grabbing a cup she poured herself some coffee, and looked up out the window by the sink. The sky was grey, clouds had floated in and hid the sun from sight. Perhaps this too was one reason why he wasn't well, but the clouds made Aurora happy, if all went well it could mean rain. It had been so long since she had seen the rain. Turning her attention to the bowl of fruit, she reached out for a banana at first, but then changed her mind and went for the peach. Dumping a little sugar into her coffee, she left it at that, enjoying it strong. Turning around she leaned against the counter and took a bite out of the peach. When he groaned she couldn't help looking up, one eyebrow slightly raised in question, then his lips were moving, but she didn't quite catch what he said. "What?"

Sason say the clouds and looked even worse than usual. Rain dampened his powers and made his whole body ache. But Aurora enjoyed it so he wouldn't complain like he normally woukd, hell he'd even grab an umbrella and join her outside if that were the case. More ajd more things kept pulling on that made Sasons memory of last night seem worse ajd worse, like that wine had blown everything out the window. When asked about what he said, he only responded a little louder with "then how?" He figured being up front about it might be the answer to his problem, since beating around the bush with her never seemed to settle well. He had to start being completely honest with himself if he ever had a chance "last night you said, not like this..... then how. Since then I haven't been able to sleep and I feel like my whole body is under pressure. For some reason your voice broke through last night, and since then you've been the only thing on my mind and it's driving me insane because I don't know what to do" he says dropping his head onto the table. He had never had someone with this effect on him since his wife, and it was making him lose his mind. Because like he said, he doesn't know what to do, he can't swoon her like he did his wife. But if he leaves it alone it'll tear hum up from the inside. And all at the same time he doesn't want to guilt her into doing anything for him. If sje does anything with him it's because she wants to do it

His words confused her. Chewing another bite of the peach she tilted her head a little, about to question it when he went on. Aurora thought her jaw might hit the floor, but she couldn't not look at him as he spoke. It was shocking to say the least. Honestly she was a little surprised he remembered anything, he was not at all himself, so that fact that he recalled what she said, meant it really had gotten through. He had no idea what it took out of her, what it made her feel and now he was asking her this. Was this supposed to be some type of confession...after two days? Was it her she wanted, or just her body? He had after all seen her nearly naked the night before.
Maybe he too needed to have sex with someone to get rid of the feeling that had been left behind. Would that break this funk? Aurora was silent for a moment, her peach and coffee abandoned, "What do you expect me to say?" She asked. "Last night wouldn't have been my decision, I had no control of what my body was doing. Half the time my hands moved on their own, do you really think stripping was my idea?" Not giving him time to answer, Aurora added, "As far as I'm concerned, it would have been rape." Going back to her previous thoughts she asked a set of questions, this time allowing him to answer, "Besides, was it me you wanted, or just my body? Just a woman's body to satiate your need? And then what? If we had had sex...what do you think that would have changed?"

He looks at her with a touch of insult "I'm not that petty, I don't want just sex and not you for your body. If it was just sex I wouldn't be in this predicament. Like I said YOU have been in my mind all night long, and sure it's only been two days but if anything I want to know you, see things no one else has. If anything knowing I even have a slight chance would be fine for now, I just can't stand doubting myself every second" he says softly, feeling more drained by the second. Again he looked up at uer, his eyes softer "and I'm glad you were able to fight it, if anything it makes me want you more, I've never met anyone with that much fight in them. Plus I would have felt terrible if THAT side of me was the cause of me getting you in bed, I want it to be this side of me and because you want to, not some magic forcing you" he says with a slight smile. Waiting for a response he sat there taking a sip of his coffee, he had made it extra sweet just to his liking. For an immortal demon that could level a city, he had a massive sweet tooth, ajd would devour a candy store if he had the chance, which is why Francis tries to lock up the sweets and only bring them out once in a while. Also while he waited he contimplating what he just said, yes it had been a confession in his own way. He didn't want to say anything like he really liked her, which he did, or love her just yet, until he actually got to know her ajd not the side he's seen so far. He wants to see the softer, caring side that he caught a fleeting glimpse of when she had asked her request. He wanted to see her care and care for him. He wanted what he didn't think he'd have ever again, someone to want to be with him for who he was not what he had or the power he had over them. Because with her, he had no real power over her, she had fought off the full strengtg of his incubus powers and kept mostly in control. All of this made him want her to be his in all ways but made him want to work for it "whatever it takes for me to have a shot I'll do it, you're the first person I've wanted so bad to work my a** of for even a chance in a very long time" he added quietly, a touch of compassion and desire in his voice

Was that what it was? He wanted to know about her? The fact that she had resisted him only made him more curious. In the beginning he had already told her that he wanted to know what made her tick. Now she was doing something other women were not able to do. Push him away. What would his feelings be this morning if she had joined him in the shower and then the bed? Aurora had to wonder if there would be any mystery left for him then. She had had years of fighting, of pushing back against masters and their orders. Last night had felt no different.
"So what? I'm supposed to open up my soul? Tell you all about my past, the good, the bad, the ugly?" Aurora didn't talk about her past, hated doing so in fact. There was little good, but lots of bad and ugly. One master, early on, had been truly good, it was an older man, and in those days she felt more like a daughter than a slave. He had her do small acts of service, bring up his breakfast in the morning, gather flowers from the garden for the table. Most of what he asked her to do, was to help her learn. Mending a pair of pants meant she would search out one of the older staff and learn to use a sewing machine. Cooking a meal, meant she would learn from start to finish what it took from prepping the food to cooking the ingredients. Even cleaning, which she of course disliked the most then. Yet it was like he knew that when he passed she would need these skills. For entering the next household with no knowledge would probably end her up in punishment.
"I don't talk about the past. And I don't start to plan on doing it now." Knowing this was not going to stop though Aurora hoped that squishing just a bit of that wonder would get him off of this. "But since you show no signs of stopping, and are hell bent on figuring me out you can ask one question. I'm not all that fascinating, so maybe this will help you see that."

Sason sighed and took another sip of his coffee, when it got cold he wrapped his hand around it and used his magic to warm it. "I don't expect this to be one sided either, I won't expect you to tell me your past until you know mine. And I'm not asking for a yes or no either, I just want to know if there is even a chance" he said softly. If there was a chance then he'd be patient, he was very good at that, after a couple ten thousand years at least. He was willing to let her read him like a book, know what made HIM well him. From what he understood of her power, the person itself gave her the most to look at, so he'd happily offer himself to her scrutiny. He also decided not to tell her about her and the chef last night, after what he read about her last encounter like that it only ended badly. He was willing to forget that, after all it had been him that drove her to that in order to break from his power. And as for his mindset of how things would have been for him should yesterday played out like his drunken self wanted...... he probably would have felt the same, mostly guilt tho that he took advantage of her and made a total a** of himself, again. Bit again that made her unique in that he usually wouldn't care if someone was bewitched and had sex with him like that, but then he'd be like all other masters, simply using slaves for sex ajd he couldn't have not, not with her. After a second or two of silence Sason stood up and walked over to the fruit to grab an apple "a hope of a chance is all I ask now" he said softly but loud enough for her to hear the sincerity in her voice "after that I can wait until that chance becomes reality, I'm so good at waiting" he said softly again before taking a bite of his apple ajd letting what he's said sink in

A chance he asked for, but a chance at what? Aurora knew he wanted something to come of this, but what he saw as a possibility was baffling to her. Relationships weren't her thing, being soft and caring, wasn't something she did. It was a side of her he only saw because his incubus side came at her walls like a wrecking ball. Without them she was a pile of goo, she was like a little girl thinking prince charming was out there, and that love was something in reach for her. Last night, the slow trailing of her hands over his body, the desire to run her fingertips along his scars, the need for him to do the same. That wasn't normal for her. Maybe somewhere there was still a desire for such things, but Aurora had locked that part of her up long ago. It was vulnerable, and if it was tucked away, she couldn't get hurt.
"I don't know." Was her only answer, and perhaps it was answer enough because it was not a no. There was no definite there, which was all he wanted. Setting her fruit down she finished off the cup of coffee as he stood and neared her...or rather the fruit bowl. "You can do as you please. Wait as long as you desire."

Almost immediately it looked at if a massive weight was lifted off his shoulders. He sighed and stood straight "thank you, for not denying my outright" he said softly and took another bite of his apple. As he did he realized something, she had not done much around the estate aside from following him around and read. Turning to her he leaned against the counter "I realized I have yet to give you a job of sorts here at the estate. Since you seem adept at most things let me ask you, which would be your best skill and which job do you think would best suit you?" He asked looking her over. She was definately an adequate chef even with a single hand so working in the kitchen with Francis didn't seem like a far iff idea and Francis would certainly enjoy her company. Course that would mean he'd have to work around that and it might mean he'd lose his slim chance to a chef. As for her walls and locked away emotions, all walls fall eventually, all locks come undone and so shall hers. It may take time but it'll happen and hell be there when it does, even if past masters come after her he'll be there for her and won't give an inch. He will be her knight, her prince charming, one day and hell make certain it's a day to remember

Shrugging at his thanks, Aurora wondered how she could have answered any other way. She wouldn't have said yes, not after such a short time, but saying no felt wrong as well. He had changed the status of who they were to each other so early on by granting her the ability to no longer be a slave. Or at least called one. Aurora still felt the remnants in her role, being something for so many years, made it hard to shake in just a day.
Best skill, and the most suited. Well there was an idea. Aurora contemplated such things, running over the roles that she could be tasked with. Driver was out of the question, since she didn't drive. Gardening wasn't really her forte since she hated the sun. For one master she had basically been a secretary, among other things, but Sason didn't seem to be running any type of business. Personal attendant, had been her role in a few houses, which entailed a bit of everything. Aurora had never been a cook herself, but helped out in the kitchen enough to be of assistance and make simple meals. Cleaning was something she could do, though that didn't take much skill at all, and most of that kind of work was rather tedious. Seamstress, but there didn't seem to be much to sew.
Washing her hands of the peach Aurora shook her head. "I don't have a best skill. Just place me where you need another body and set of hands. Float me around. It doesn't matter."

Sason thought for a second "well how about you stay helping Frankie in the kitchen for now until I find someone else. He certainly enjoyed your help and maybe he can teach you what he knows" he said softly, despite what had happened the previous night he felt this was the right decisiob. And it definately would sit well with their chef. Who just as Sason made his proposal walked into the room to start working "good morning sir, Aurora. I think that's a wonderful idea if you ask me" he says looking sweetly at Aurora. Sason had to bite his tongue to avoid thinking of their kiss last night. Needing a distraction he walked out back "if you're ok with it Aurora I leave you in Frankies hands" he says hoping only metaphorically. Once out back he sat in the middle of his targets and started to form his armor around him. The effort of simply making it without rage was quite taxing on his reserves of energy but he had to get it down pact if he hoped to survive Kahls sword. That blade could very easily drain the life from a person with a single swipe. The more life a person had left the more excruciating the experience, so for Sason it woukd be like dying a million tines over to being ripped apart

Helping out in the kitchen didn't sound like a bad idea. It would be a little more interesting at least then scrubbing floors. Francis would be there too, at least giving her someone to talk with. Speaking of, the chef entered the room soon after to agree to the proposal. 'A wonderful idea is it? I mean it's not a bad one, he could probably use the help.' Cooking at least would bring about something different from the same old monotony of cleaning or doing whatever else there was to be done. Hopefully she wouldn't be too much of a hindrance, meaning that Francis could keep his eyes on his work and not always on her.
When Sason left Aurora wondered how she had gotten herself caught up in all of this so quickly. Rinsing out her coffee cup she turned to Francis who was looking at her with an eyebrow raised. "So..." He said.
"That's right, you've got yourself an assistant. So keep your mind on your work or you'll probably end up cutting of a finger or something stupid."
"I'm a trained chef, why would I go doing something like that."
"Because people tell me I'm a pretty good distraction."
"Well...they aren't lying." He didn't bring up last night seeing as she hadn't, though he hoped it would come to happen again. Francis still wasn't quite sure what if anything had taken place between Aurora and Sason before she came downstairs, but at the same time he wasn't quite sure what happened between himself and her either.

Sason could hear their conversation but kept his mind on his form. As he meditated his flames became an aura and pulsed outwards, like his body was erupting flames a couple times a second, giving him a full body halo. As he did this he couldn't help but let his mind wander which immediately affected his aura, making is sporadic and actually catching fire to the ground around him before he regained focus and harmony with his powers. After a while the pulsing simply became a steady halo around his body as he became able to completely maintain his armored form without too much strain, however the strain he'd experienced until then was pretty severe. "This is to keep her safe from him" he said quietly as he slowly stood up and tried to use more of his metal make to create a series of weapons around him, each blade was beautiful yet the blade was already scarred, each time he thought of her the previous night and her scars. They were beautiful yet at the same time painful, and her attitude sliced through his walls like a blade, so it wasn't unusual for his magic to take the form of scarred blades with razor sharp edges

The days passed on like that. Sason practiced, and Aurora helped out in the kitchen. Things were quiet as far as visitors went, and after the whirlwind of the first two days, it was nice to have some easy going one's in their wake. Slowly Aurora was starting to believe that things weren't all so bad here. One of the maids had gotten some new clothing for her, no doubt at Sason's request. Outfits, pajama's, underwear, and shoes. Aurora finished a book and returned it to the library to find another. The rain that she had been hoping for didn't come, and the clouds moved on, making Sason happy. But she hoped they would return soon, and this time bring the rain.
With the way things had been going Aurora lost track of time, and so in the morning when she awoke, at first she didn't realize what day it was. Getting up and moving to the kitchen she noticed her body not feeling quite right, but it wasn't until she looked in the mirror that she realized why. Her hair was no longer the sleek black, but a duller shorter brown. Her scars stood out more now against her pale skin. Her normally teal eyes were a not so impressive shade of blue. The angels of her face that were not quite human were gone, giving way to something more fitting for what she would be for the next twenty four hours, or rather till midnight. Aurora had mentioned to no one about her little predicament, and wondered if she could stay cooped up for the day and hide the fact itself.
Her door was already locked, which would give her time at least to run back to the bed and pull the sheets over her head if anyone came to check in on her. Today Aurora would have to play sick, and play it well. The other problem would be pushing both Sason and Francis away seeing as both of them were sure to soon wonder why she hadn't come downstairs. Grabbing the bathroom sink, Aurora's head dropped, the only good thing about this day was it gave her a break from her powers.
