xxxTsukiyomi is a sweet, exuberant girl. She loves making new friends and being social and is just naturally accepting of everyone. She has no qualms about befriending Nightmares and Daydreams from all walks of life.
xxxAs a freshling, she made it her sworn duty to drag her hermit of a brother, Leto, out into the social world. While this might sound like a cruel thing to do to an introvert...she mostly keeps it to big events and festivals. Most of the time she respects his hermit-ness. It was at one of those festivals that she met Rowan, a cute little imp hybrid, and developed a bit of a crush on them.
Sirius: She found him on the side of a path, hurt. After taking him in and nursing him back to health, he refused to leave and now follows her everywhere he can get away with.

xxxCynnamyn Jewel is gentle, kind, and almost always puts others first. She does get a little bossy when she's having high anxiety...which is usually brought about by her own doing; she's a procrastinator and a perfectionist, so she tends to wait til the last minute to get things done. This predisposition causes her to get snippy and anxious.
xxxCynnamyn comes from a huge imp family that specializes in digging gems, enhancing them, and making jewelry with special properties. As a freshling, Cyn was playing with her siblings and cousins where they weren't supposed to, and there was a cave in, trapping her for several hours before the adults could rescue her. Ever since she has a fear of tight places and an extreme dislike for crowds.
xxxAs a junior, she convinced her parents to let her live at the academy, the tunnels of her home simply stressed her out too much. There she started getting interested in enhancing spices and herbs to make healing teas. As a senior, she's learning to squelch her fears so that she can visit the family during holidays and not have panic attacks.
Cocoa: Cocoa is Cyn's constant companion. She's on the counter when Cyn's making her dried teas, she on the workbench when Cyn's practicing her potions and salves, and she's curled up next to Cyn when it's time for a break.

xxxZima is like a wild animal in some ways. He's very wary of new people and places and can come off as prickly towards new people. It's hard to get passed that exterior, most people give up once he's been prickly for a conversation or two. Once you get past that, though, he's friendly and exceptionally loyal.
xxxAs a freshling, Zima's father got a job near the Academy and moved his family off of the West Continent. Zima, being the younger, was not please about this at all. He misses his friends, his town, his old school. He was also told by many classmates (mostly to tease him) that no one at the Academy liked geists. He's come to find that that was untrue.
Compass: Compass is absolutely in love with Zima. She follows him around everywhere, having to be forced to stay at home when he goes to school. As soon as he gets back, though, she's all over him.
Brat: Brat is a slime that took forever to catch. The slime is loved, but it never seems to be able to stay out of trouble.
