This time, the Safari Ball managed to break before it even made it to the Pokémon. "Seriously?! Cheaply made piece of crap..." She'd still keep her ears as flat as possible with the Metal Sound continuing, throwing out a Timer Ball this time.

By now, Amaranth noticed that something was following her, turning to notice the Dedenne from before. It looked up endearingly at her, as if wanting to tag along, but she tried to shoo it away. Though the Pokemon was disappointed, it waited until her back was turned before following her again. Nothing unusual or creepy about that at all.

In fact, she hadn't noticed the Tynamo in the distance either. That Dedenne, however? Let's just say it had some words with the Tynamo just for looking in the general area.

It seemed that the Dedenne would also have words with a Magnemite from earlier, hearing its beeps. By now, it was safe to say that even Amaranth was slowly being creeped out by the sudden chattering every so often.

More words would be said to a Tynamo. Unsure if she wanted to stay around, Amaranth debated her options at present and if it might be a healthier idea to not stay in a place with a crazy Dedenne.

The good news, however, is that Amaranth would eventually lose the Dedenne thanks to it encountering a Joltik and getting into some argument with it. Still, she was just glad to be rid of the odd rodent. She hoped. For all she knew, that thing would stalk her back to HQ or something.

Somehow, in all of her searching, Amaranth found herself back near the entrance, where she had encountered the Scatterbug. It was still around, for that matter, seemingly oblivious to much going on as it tried to scavenge what little remained. She still decided to leave it be for now.

A RUNNER POKEMON HAS APPEARED!
A metal bird swoops down into the building through a wall in the ceiling. The Skarmory seems in a calm mood until it notices the nest it had been working on was destroyed! Upon seeing the contestants nearby it instantly assumes they were the cause of this. Oh how they will pay.
(Same as before. 1-30 and 7 is the magic number.)

Nearly deciding to leave the abandoned plant, Amaranth could hear what sounded like a sharp, metallic screech of a chirp. Her guard suddenly going back up, she went to investigate in hopes of figuring out what was going on.

For the moment, she found nothing. But she still heard the cries from whatever was around, as well as a sudden gust of wind. "What's around here...?" She asked herself, Pokeball at the ready and constantly looking around to avoid being blindsided.

ITEM CHANCE!
Roll a 6, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, 86, or 96 in the next forty-five minutes and find a Dusk Ball! Can be used here even if you used three Pokeballs already. Dusk Ball also has its added bonus here (now considered night).

...and as much as she loves Dedenne she can't bear for Miyu to feel replaced, so she hurries away from it to keep exploring.
