I just saw children of men. Wow, it rocked my world. I really wanted to see Doomsday, and 10000 BC, but i don't really want to pay 10 bucks for the theater jazz.

BUT.
I did recently see 30 days of Night. An interesting vampire rendition, and really kinda creepy. I'd say its pretty good. It is different. But good.

And Juno.
Amazing.

did anyone, please tell me someone has already, seen the new Harry Potter Movie? Please tell me someone has. I need to rant but I want someone to have already watched it so they could understand what I meant when I say it disappointed me.

I haven't seen it yet ):

Want to though.

Is it seriously bad? Heard a few people say it's crappy so far.

The most recent movie I've gone to see is Public Enemies b/c I <3 Johnny & Christian Bale when he isn't Batman.

It was alright, it had its moments but nothing breath taking in my opinion.

As for the Harry Potter movie, I'm not sure I'm going to even bother to go watch it. I hate the last two books so much that I refused to finish reading them. My friend had to tell me what happened. As for the fifth movie, it was good but it missed out on a few important things that really pissed me off and the poor people watching paid for it.

Hm ... It's not a new movie or anything but for those of you who haven't seen Running with Scissors, I suggest you watch it. It is a great movie and it is a true story, hard to believe but it actually is. neutral

I'm a great sticker to the books. I like the first movie the most because it really stick to the book. I never did see the fifth movie so I can't say anything about that. I personally don't. I know who do like the movie. But since I'm the type that would say "Stick to the books, don't change anything." I would say the 6th movie was a letdown. I rate it an average of 5 out or 10. It's not that bad but it's not that good either. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't unless you ask and even then I'll talk through pm so we don't spoil it for others.

Well Twilight, in that case, sucked as well then. It didn't stick to the story well at all ... and the actors were horrible ... And Robert Pattinson always looks like he's on crack and about to kill someone but for some reason girls find that attractive?! What's wrong with the world!

Oh jeez ... Twilight rants ... don't get me started ...

But anywhoo, the Fifth movie didn't stick to the book horribly well but it was a good movie to those who didn't read that books and aren't that keen on people sticking to them. For me, though, I bitched about like ... every second thing they did wrong. And I don't even know if I'm going to bother to go to the sixth movie because I know all it'll do is make me seethe with anger and frustration beyond words and actions.

Ugh. Everytime I get a join request that says 'I want to join because I love Twilight' I die a little inside..

Can't say I'm a fan.

I'll wait til I see HP myself to discuss it.

If it makes you feel any better, my join request mentioned the Vampire Chronicles. Marius de Romanus is my absolute favorite.

Then that's probably why you got accepted. Much <3 for Anne Rice.

Yay! At least I turned out to be a decent role-player, right?

If anyone noticed, much of Elyan's powers are based on Marius'. Of course, I don't fly and I don't just light people on fire (it's not all that easy, anyway; read Blood and Gold to understand what I'm talking about). But, a character bound by morals isn't some crazy lunatic that goes around killing people with these abilities. That's the balance.

Orphan: Lawlz! For a horror movie it did a pretty good job! ZOMG the Russian girl is sooo cute! <3

Yeah, this movie actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It's not all that surprising plot-wise but I got into it cuz I always get mad when the bad guy is able to perfectly manipulate things. I yelled in this movie a few times because there were parts where the characters were just outright stupid for what they did but that's horror movies. I'd say this is more a suspense than a horror but suspenses are better anyhow. I actually enjoyed it and I'd recommend it fo shizzles!

Dear Everyone.
I just saw the Triplets of Belleville for the first time. If you've not seen this animated film, I recommend it as it is spectacular in the department of an art film, both in sound, and in picture. And in storytelling.

You try to tell a story on visuals and sound/music rather than crappy or amazing dialogue.

Try it.

Gotta love them FRENCH filmz.
It was a film that was up against Finding Nemo in 2003. I've wanted to see it since then but, hadn't since...I forget about things I want to see a lot as well.
BUT IT IS WORTH YOUR TIME.
