Chel finally drained the end of her milkshake, handing the cup over to Jack for the end bits if he wanted it. Their food was finished but Chel looked far from ready to move. They were actually having a pleasant conversation for once, the side of Jack's smirk showed it.
"Do I really do anythin' guilty?" she asked with a snort. "Lessee ..." It actually took her a while to think up anything, but she came up with a few. "Singin' I guess ... dunno if that's really guilty, but I get all ... I dunno, choked up when people want me to sing. When I'm alone I don't mind ... Kinda belt it haw." She was looking away now, scratching the back of her head. "S'at count, or no?"

Chel pivoted on her feet, moving Jack outside again. "Then we go there for you~ I'll figure somethin' out for thigh highs."
Standing on her tiptoes she managed to kiss Jack's cheek. "I gotta get you a present too, anyways."

Normally he might have said no, but he'd seen how Chel had hesitated on Christmas. "Counts if you feel weird but like it, I guess. You don't have a bad voice," he told her. "If that's what's making you self-conscious. I bet we could make a good duo." Jack had already begun trying to nudge her into being more included whenever he jammed out, though she always seemed against it.

Crossing his arms, Jack glanced over his tipsy girlfriend from head to toe and considered her for a moment, a hint of a smile on his face. Something about Chel's behavior was just funny to him. "...Is your iPod in here, or do you trust the prisoner enough to go grab it?" he asked, deciding that a bath did sound nice after a long day. Although he hardly had any delusions it was going to be a relaxing affair.

"We already make a good duo sweet cheeks, she said with a sideways smile, but picked up quickly. "S'not my voice- well it's kinda how I sound 'cause I got this gravelly a** s**t, but it's more-" She rolled her eyes in an exasperated way. "I get words wrong a lot."
She looked at Jack in a there I said it kind of way.

Chel pointed to the counter, where it was sitting in the pocket of the thin jacket she'd worn to the gym.
But then she shot her arms up in a victory sort of motion. Too trusting, she stepped towards him and said, "S'at a yes?" She always had to check when it came to Jack, but she was already tearing off her shirt and struggling with it a bit.

"It's a yes," he replied with amusement, deciding to let her struggle while he started to shrug out of his clothes. "What sort of music do you want to play? Or should I hit shuffle for you?"

Frowning, he almost asked her what she meant--but then it clicked, and he closed his mouth. Around the same time, the possible drizzle from before began to come down in more visible force. Jack peeled his sunglasses off, squinting a little until his eyes adjusted.
"We do make a good pair, don't we? When we're not bugging the s**t out of each other," he added, returning her lopsided grin. "My guilty pleasure you already know."

"Shuffle that s**t, but like on a quiet playlist." Surprisingly Chel had one, mostly consisting of acoustic guitar songs now, thanks to Jack's influence. "So we can be real romantic and s**t."
With that declaration, she took off her bra before popping up suddenly. "Wait!" Chel barked, having gotten her belt undone but leaving it sagging at her hips. She shuffled herself out to the main part of the room and fumbled around a bit until she found the (opened) wine. There was a dramatic gasp and a dramatic, "Jack you ********>," before she returned with the bottle in hand.
Looking the very vision of white trash, she arrived to a waterlogged Jack; she was surprised, mostly, to find that the carnality she usually displayed was just gone. Jack just looked like home now.
She put the wine bottle on the stone shelving next to the tub, and then took off the rest of her trappings. Hair was put into a bun on top of her head lest it get in Jack's face or worse, into the water. She didn't have her special shampoos and the water was hot; not a friendly environment for dyed pink hair.
After carefully (and admittedly, awkwardly) toeing her way into the tub with some stifled laughs (both from the heat, being tipsy, and the awkwardness) Chel eventually found a semblance of comfort. She let Jack adjust before talking again.

20 questions
Chel watched Jack's eyes adjust, always worried that there would come a time when he wouldn't see at all.
"That's always," she said. "Mm- y'know what I thought of another one-" Thinking of Jack's shoe collection led to thinking of boots, led to "-You ever hear of Sailor Moon? The one with all the sparkles and boobs? Abbi kept tryin' to get me to watch it and I finally caved. Don't love it or nothin', but watchin' it always makes me feel better. Don't y'dare tell Abbi that- she'll never let me hear the end of it."

"Name doesn't ring a bell, no." But he nodded and promised; an Abbi with ammunition against you was not good. "Does it make you feel better the same way Sucker Punch does?" Jack asked.

"I was curious," was all he gave for an explanation, not even bothering to apologize and in fact grinning impishly at her dramatic reaction. "Tastes alright, by the way."
He must have looked like quite a sight, given that though the tub was large it was, like many things, just not large enough for someone like him. Much like Chel, his hair had been pulled up by borrowing a hair band from her supplies; it didn't look as messy as it had previously been. With his glasses over by the iPod (which he had been pleased to discover was now home to a few acoustic songs he'd played on his own iPod in the past), Jack was left to blurry surroundings that went beyond arm's reach; he was glad in this case that they would have close contact so he wouldn't have to worry about that.
Legs parted to let Chel find her spot, he leaned back against the tub and let his arms sit on the rim for the moment. "We probably should have had sex before the bath," he mused aloud.

The hot water made her mind fuzzy, a stranger sensation yet with Jack on her back without something more being expected. She was tense at first, tightened by awkwardness, but eventually relaxed enough to put her head on Jack like a headrest and her hands on his legs like armrests. Very comfy.
"Nahhh," she told him, "M'tired. Sex tomorrow." Her eyes closed and she began to understand why people liked this. She was growing lethargic with warmth, feeling intimate for once instead of flat lust.
Her eyes opened again made grabby hands at the bottle, gesturing that Jack should reach it for her. "Enjoy yer time alone?"

She was almost glad that Jack didn't know of it. It would have been joked about for weeks.
"Eh? I guess? I dunno I just like them." She shrugged, not really sure what he was getting at with his question. "F'it's any consolation I don't mind singin' with you neither." She wasn't sure why she'd said that.
She pushed past it quickly with a wave of her hand. "Aight, fess up- what you love best about yourself and what d'you hate?"

Something briefly passed over his expression that would remind Chel of what she had seen in the park, and then it was back to something more familiar. She'd unfortunately hit on the very topic that had been slowly gnawing away at him ever since Jack had started to focus on his clones. "Excluding my d**k?" he began, as a joke would smooth it over. "Hmm. I'm resourceful when I knuckle down to something. Worst part is that sometimes I don't know when to give up."
It wasn't the worst, he supposed, but there was only so much he wanted to dig into in public and on the job. Belatedly, he started to pick at the dregs of their milkshake to slurp up.
