Chrysotile couldn't help himself. He pointed and laughed at her, long and loudly. "Oh man," he finally managed, brushing tears away from his eyes, "that was classic. You made me laugh, little girl." He cracked his knuckles, certain that she was well and truly trapped by the snare around her ankle, and grinned at her. "Now you're going to pay."

He approached her in a leisurely manner, swinging the afghan. It was hard to decide what to do next: smother her or punch her? She was proving to be a tougher opponent than he thought she'd be, despite the tumble and entrapment. Best to err on the side of beating the crap out of her. Dismissing his afghan, he reared his arm back and came in for a gut-punch.

It was a direct hit squarely on Mothro's side though it didn't seem to faze the large youma any. Pulling back her arm, Dallol immediately followed up with a kick aimed at the same spot as soon as it came within range.

But it wasn't before the creature managed to fill the air around the Squire with the spores from its wings which sent Dallol into a coughing fit, her body bent over slightly as she tried to back away from the cloud of fouled air. It wasn't long before the poison began to take effect once the spores were inhaled however, its effects evident by the increasing slowness with which Dallol was retreating from Mothro. It wouldn't be long till even that would be rendered impossible when the poison incapacitated her entirely.

With her leg suspended upwards and the rest of her on the ground, Harmonia had no doubt that she was quite the comical scene. She had no witty remarks to throw back at him though as her focus was on the snare that was pulling uncomfortably on her ankle. She struggled to get her fingers under the offending wire but was having no luck. All the while she knew that the Nega was closing in on her.

Awkwardly she tried to stand up to defend herself but she didn't very far before the fist plunged downwards into her abdomen. The air rushed out of her and she curled up instinctually around the impact.

Still reeling form the attack but afraid to just not do anything she attempted to kick out at the Nega's shins with her one free foot.

The lieutenant was fast. Not as blindingly fast as the guy with the sword in the funhouse had been, or like Ida or Chariklo, but able to backstep from the arc of blue-clothed fist while tossing banter. Sandrine had to hop-step to correct over extending in the miss, looking back over shoulder at the agent with confusion writ plain across face, "What kind of question is that?!"

"I'm Sailor Sandrine, Senshi of Execution! At least I look like what I am. You look like the b*****d kid of a taxi service and a hearse. "

" By the Sword! " Sandrine dragged two nails of one hand along the red wrist dagger of the other, summoning out a thin longsword of magical blood. It wasn't ideal, being close enough to throw punches. But its what I have to try to make him go the hell away and leave people here alone.

A shift and pull around of the thing, which weighed what a regular longsword did, and Sandrine lobbed it at the Lieutenant.

Range. The sword acts as a projectile, throwing no more than 15 ft.
Duration. Instantaneous (like magic missle)
Damage Summary. The sword makes surface-wounds, nothing deep, but damaging to creatures like Youma or Wraiths. It is not corporeal enough to be used to inflict stabbing wounds in any way. In the case of blows that are thin-skinned areas (like the neck), the 'surface area wound' only still applies! It leaves deeper wounds on an arm than it would at the neck or under an arm where it might become OP by cutting an artery.
Weaknesses. It takes practice to aim the projectile, as it doesn't have the benefit of an aiming position like a bow. An enemy that blocks it with their weapon dispels it.
Frequency of Usage. Twice a battle

Round 2: Kadyrelite (7) vs Pompeii (6)

Pompeii felt glad when she dragged the kicking nega down into the dirt with her. "Turn about is fair play." She smirked at the girl and backed up untill her back was against the dirt. They were both now in the hole which would make any fighting close combat but at least they were on 'equal' footing. Pompeii wished she had more room to move around but she didnt think she could get out of the hole without turning her back to the nega, which she definitely wouldn't do.

The sound of fighting all around them seemed to get louder and against Pompeii's better judgement she took her eyes off of her opponent. In that moment the nega threw something at her, Pompeii shied away but still received some gunk in her eyes. She did her best to shield her face with one arm while the other was out as a barrier. That girl was racking up a bigger and bigger tab and Pompeii was going to have to see that the nega payed it in full. As she tried to clear her vision she was driven back into the wall and her wind driven out but the nega had no idea that the training Pompeii was doing... rather had been doing.... with Maia mostly consisted with Pompeii working with shortness of breath. How that younger senshi continually whipped the floor with the older and supposedly more experienced squire only the gods would know.... lots of training.

Working off instinct Pompeii brought her knee up in a classic 'knee to the balls' maneuver. Unsure of how she had been body slammed the purple knight had no idea what she would hit or if she would at all but she didn't really have many other moves that she could make. With her eyes tearing and her breath coming in gasps she could only hope it worked. Maia would kill her if anything bad happened.

Had - had the pen actually been useful?! Mont Blonc was so floored by the revelation (and the fact that this youma-man was literally howling about it) that he took a flying fist to the gut. He stumbled back a step with a low groan, but more or less managed to maintain his footing long enough to try and punch somewhere he'd never, ever want to be hit. But to be fair, this was a weird spider man. Who even knew if he had anything going on down there or not? - oh god no, he didn't even want to think about it. "And - and I'd do it again!" he said a little too late for his comeback to really be all that effective, but better later than never, probably.

Merlinite: 9 - Serpentarius: 1

Serpentarius heard the apology, her eyes turning just as he summoned his weapon. Frowning, she lifts her hands as they started to glow green. She was prepared to defend herself, take him down if need be. It was the tears she saw glimmering in his eyes that made her stop dead in her track. She didn't speak a word, her hands still glowing as she saw him come towards her.

As the club swung, she felt it smack her is the waist. It caused her to double over as she holds onto her side. She wasn't going to lie, that hurt alot more then she was expecting it to. Shaking, she spat as she stood slowly her eyes never leaving the captain. She understood the fear he was dealing with, as she felt the very same. Still holding tightly to her side, she lunges towards him as she attempts to use her whole body to knock him off his feet.

I counted it as his first attack since it was a lower number than Havasu's - you're free to attack again if you want. Round 2 is: Leucite 5 v Havasu 7

Leucite spat and shook his head. "Don't matter in a fight you idiot - not a real one. Who the ******** lives by a goddam imaginary code in the middle of a war?"

Someone who was obviously very, very slow.

Growling, Leucite lashed out at the knight, snapping an anger fueled punch at the other male that was aimed for his chin, but was definitely not going to hit its mark just based on Leucite' sloppy stance.

Sunshine Alouette
Corinth 1 vs. Aquamarine 6

Corinth had not expected the attack so soon, so he took the bean to the head full on. Generally speaking - the plastic weapon would have been laughably not very painful - well actually, Corinth knew how badly plastic play weapons could hurt in the wrong hands - so scratch that - it was a viable weapon in capable hands.

Suffice it to say - it hurt more than he had really expected it too, and he was trying to blink out the stars in his eyes as he did the only thing he could think of. Grabbing his drum firmly by the straps he flung it wildly between him and the officer, trying to get some space.

Anything to give him a breather.

Grunting in pain as the knight's knee just barely missed the worst of the bruising around her ribs, Kadyrelite heard herself growl, but there was an oddly sibilant echo to it. Oh goody. Strytha had decided to make use of her vocal cords.

"b***h!," then, just as quickly as the youma had spoken up, it faded, leaving Kadyrelite to continue ranting furiously. "What the hell is it with you people and my ribs?"

Doing her best to keep the knight hedged in, the young lieutenant reached up and aimed for the knight's hair, intending to tangle her fingers into it. And while she was doing that, her other hand whipped out with a vicious speed to punch the other girl right in the gut.

Yes. Strike for the Dark Kingdom. Destroy the liars and usurpers. Strytha might be proud of you. A little.

Well, gee thanks, you little monster, she thought back. So happy to oblige.

And for just a moment, Kadyrelite was treated to an oddly grating gurgle that served as the youma's laugh.

The youma really wasn't particularly impressive - at least not to Falias' way - of thinking as he managed to clunk the oversized bird that had charged at him at a run that had been more akin to a cross between skitter and hop rather solidly on the head.

He managed to avoid the thing's initial attempt to peck at him and it's follow up at swatting at him with its feathers was more annoying than anything else as he swung at the thing again.

He mentally catalogued the youma as a pest rather than threat determined to dust it quickly so that he could press on - after all it really shouldn't take much if feather swats and stumpy beak pecks were all that he had to worry about.

Maybe he was perhaps being a little overconfident - but based on what he'd seen so far Falias rather thought he could get away with it.

Aquamarine cackled as the page flailed his drum around ineffectively. The most it did was catch on Aquamarine's uniform jacket, but the Lieutenant made quick work of that by taking a step back.

“Something wrong?” he jeered, a wide smirk spreading across his face.

Briefly he hoped Jet or Seraphinite were around to see what was sure to be a sound victory.

Bringing his sword up again, Aquamarine aimed for the same spot he'd struck only moments ago.

NOPE I CAN NOT.

If this were a sporting event, Coffinite had a feeling, breifly, Mont Blonc would be disqualified. Luckily in war such blows to the integrity of a man with certain complexes they denied were perfectly acceptable, and Coffinite dropped with not a yeowl, whine, or scream, but some thin, high pitched noise indicative of the fact he probably wasn't getting up for a long while. He was indeed vulnerable and he was VERY vulnerable at that, mind redirecting to the sheer agony of his indignity, the Lieutenant using two weak, shaking arms not nursing himself to drag himself away to retreat. Home was good. He'd go lie in misery away from all of this and those dignity shattering hooligans.

Chrysotile barely managed to skitter out of the way of the senshi's foot, her toe brushing against his boot. "Nice try," he smirked. "But I don't think you're in a very defensible position. I pretty much have you right where I want you." If this was an example of what Order had to offer against the Negaverse, he couldn't understand why Destiny City wasn't completely under control by now.

Keeping out of range, he circled around her, swinging his afghan, until he reached her head. "Let's see how you like this," he said, tossing the blanket at her head.

Round 1: Antares 8, Quartz 5 -- Advantage: Antares

There were, Quartz soon discovered, plenty of people more willing to jump into the fracas than he was. All he had to do, then, was make himself look marginally useful. No one was paying attention too closely, after all. So long as he looked busy, surely no one would be able to say for sure that he hadn't put in his best effort.

He searched the people at the edges of the fighting for a likely combatant. Someone low-ranked, someone who didn't look terribly gung-ho about all this. Someone Quartz could burn a lot of time dealing with without having to actually do anything terribly evil, he hoped.

There was one. Low-ranked, a basic scout. He spotted her squinting through the fracas, looking for someone. She didn't seem all that into all this.

Please be sane, Quartz thought, approaching.

"I'm only here because I have to be," Quartz led off in a low, quiet voice, hoping not to be overheard. "I don't want to fight you."

Still -- because he had to put on a show of it -- he swung a hand out, meaning to grab the scout's wrist. It wasn't calculated to do much harm, just to restrain: but there was no way of knowing whether or not she'd be able to tell that.
