Next up a Litwick approached them. This little one wasn't wasting anytime, and like the Yamask from before it released it's attack quickly. A spire of fire rose from the sands, surrounding Fylgia like a tornado. Eon rose her hands up, the heat from the attack instantly making her sweat. Fylgia seemed to manage, quickly putting a stop to the caster with a Punishment attack. Once the fire had died down Eon approached Fylgia, careful of the still burning sands to check if she'd been harmed. Only a little scorching, but nothing severe. They'd have to watch out for the elemental ghosts.

A replay of before, a Yamask appeared. However, this one didn't instantly attack, instead it decided to bide it's time with a Haze attack, however, Fylgia, with her boost in confidence jumped the gun, launching her own attack, ultimately disrupting the Yamask's. Perhaps it wasn't just her boost in confidence, but also her getting stronger. Fylgia admittedly hadn't been to strong herself to being, but as her confidence grew, so did her actual skill... she was getting formidable, which was just what Eon needed in the upcoming battle against Brawly.

Next a Drifloon floated away from the lantern. It wasn't given much chance to anything, as Fylgia quickly unleashed her attack, scaring away the balloon-like ghost. Twice now Fylgia had managed to out speed her opponents. Eon couldn't hide the grin that was on her face. She'd simply come out for a walk, never did she expect to be in a never ending battle with Ghost-type Pokemon. Though, it did seem to be helping to elevate some tension. The bath perhaps helped a bit as well, but, well, Eon found battling was quite exciting. Deep down she felt like it wasn't something she would have done though. Catching Fylgia's return, Eon noticed something glimmer in the light from the lantern, something metal that had been revealed from the battling. Stepping forward she tugged out the thing, mostly worried someone might trip or cut themselves because of it, to her surprise she found it was some sort of helmet. There wasn't much time to decipher the object, as another opponent started towards them, a Rotom this time.

As the flame flickered in the lantern, darkness swallowed Eon and Fylgia. The heaviness pressing down upon them also elevated, drawing curious thoughts to Eon's mind. "Is... Is it over?" Eon asked. She felt something quickly brush up against her leg, finding Fylgia tucking in close. The poor dear was scared half to death of the darkness it seemed. Scooping up the little one, Eon turned back towards the town. There were some lights hanging in the distance, able to lead the way back safely.
"I didn't expect to see you this soon." A voice from the darkness spoke. Eon turned on her heal, finding nothing but shadows in the distance. "W-who said that?" The amnesiac called out, hugging Fylgia tightly. "You don't recognize my voice?" A flicker appeared in the distance; a flashlight lighting up. The sounds of someone walking through the sand and soon a figure stood mere feet in front of her. More flashlights lit up followed by sounds of more shuffling feet. The extra flashlights lifted to lighten up the area around them. A woman Eon had seen before, met actually, stood before her. "Resa? What is this?" Eon asked, she couldn't help but feel somewhat like the prey being backed into a corner. "You're a fool, but I'm the even bigger fool. I trusted you, but to think.. you'd stoop so low as to feint amnesia to get what you want." Eon stared wide eyed at the woman she'd at a time thought she'd befriended. "What?" "Don't play dumb, it won't work on me anymore!" Without another word, Resa rose a ball in her hand and tossed it forward. Was she.... was she forcing Eon to fight her? But all she had was Fylgia.... The fox was absolutely shaking in her arms. A soft brush of something passed by her leg, Saga stepped forward into the light of the flashlights. "Saga...." To her left she noticed Louhi as well. Finally Luffy landed on her head, pointing forward at Resa. "You messin' with my first mate!? 'Cause you better not be!" Luffy called out, a furious tone Eon had yet to hear deep in his voice. This was just some huge misunderstanding. Was it her brother? Had he said something to fool Resa? Who was her brother working for? She was supposed to be free from these people already, unless... her brother was working for something different. Who the hell else had she'd pissed of? Well, as it stood, it appeared fighting Resa was the only option she had.

Eon stepped back, not willing to fight Resa under these circumstances. Though it didn't seem Resa was going to leave her much choice. Releasing a terrifying Tentacruel, Eon was forced to raise a brow. Wasn't she a grass-type trainer? Whatever the case she wasn't sure who to send forward... even Saga looked like she'd have trouble with that thing. That's when Louhi stepped forward, rather floated forward. The orange Abra planted himself firmly on the sand between Eon and the Tentacruel. 'You will cease this at once. Despite how you feel about my trainer, she just got over quite the ordeal, you will remove yourself and wait where you were intended to be met.' Resa narrowed her eyes. "How dare you order me around! I'll do whatever I please! Tentacruel teach that abomination a lesson, use Sludge wave!" The octopus seemed reluctant to follow Resa's orders, but after what seemed like something caused it pain it turned it's wrigglers upon Louhi, ready to attack at any second. There was barely a second before both Eon and those surrounding were staring at a fallen Tentacruel, unconscious in the sand. Louhi, standing straight up, though still floating somewhat off the ground. What had just happened? "W-what the... Grr, Tentacruel return! Come out Sharpedo!"

No matter how strong Louhi thought he was, fighting a Sharpedo wasn't going to work. A half dark-type, Louhi didn't stand a chance. "Louhi, stop." Eon ordered, but her concern was pushed away by the Abra as the Sharpedo attacked .Louhi held up his arms, defending against the rough skin of the shark Pokemon. Knocked back finally by the water dweller, Louhi collapsed for a moment in the sand. Resa grinned at her accomplishment. "That'll teach you, stupid Abra." Resa sneered. Eon in the meantime rushed to Louhi's side, checking the Abra for any serious wounds. A soft glow began to emanate from the Abra, soon, turning into something as bright as the sun. Eon shielded her eyes from the sheer glow casting off of Louhi, and before she knew it, she was sitting below a Kadabra, holding firmly to his twisted spoon and regular spoon. 'You think that was enough to defeat me?' Louhi stated. 'If that Sharpedo wasn't ordered to obey you, you'd be sourly mistaken.' With a firm grip on his spoon, the psychic-type cast Teleport, warping the team back to the Pokemon center.

The trip by water felt surprisingly short. Or maybe that was because Faraday had fallen asleep at some point while he and Sissil became acquainted with his newly acquired Charmander. Chromie was a rather jubilant sort, dancing and prancing around with the peculiar orb she'd also come along with. It took a lot of cooeing and sweet talking by the detective to get her to actually give it to him, but fortunately enough he could tell why it was so valuable. It was a mega stone apparently, meant entirely for her her once she reached the appropriate evolution.
He made sure to promise her that he'd take good care of it until then and for now, that it was better he held onto it until then. After all, it was a pretty hefty sized stone and she was kind of tiny in comparison. That didn't seem to phase her though, as with this promise assured, she let him keep hold of the Charizardite-Y until she could use it. With that all said and done and the boat finally hitting the dock, he gathered and shuffled his pokemon up and off the boat. Luckily, Dresden had done an excellent job of keeping everyone in line; that being keeping Murphy from flying off the boat. There was no reason to head to the pokemon center at this point and after a bit of research, Faraday noted the gym leader Brawly, made use of fighting types. With a sly grin, he glanced at a curious Sissil. Perfect. Then it was best they get in some training so that the little ghost cat could show his stuff.
"Alright, come on. Let's go check out the beach a bit." He remarked and with a slight wave, started leading the way to the beach. Murphy seemed the most excited, skipping along beside and then ahead once the sand beaches appeared. Dresden was less thrilled, already patting away at his fur as the sand started getting caught in it. Sissil stuck close to their trainer, still wondering what that look from before was about...

Like the blink of an eye, Eon along with her group appeared back in their room at the Pokemon Center. Eon, who was mid step placed her foot down a bit harder then she'd of liked, startling everyone in the room. Regaining herself, she turned towards Louhi with a frown. "Louhi... What were you thinking?" She rose a finger up at the psychic-type. 'You were not meant to fight her there.' He replied simply. Not meant to? Well, she shouldn't be to surprised at those words. He was a psychic-type after all, and seeing into the future was a thing for most (maybe all) psychic-types. "Still... I'd of liked to try and reason with her." Eon replied. Plopping down on her bed, she looked over the Kadabra as he approached her. The black in his fur had grown more prominent, covering his legs and fore arms. "Though I am surprised you evolved." 'Yea, like you suddenly got a huge burst of energy!' Luffy stated, floating towards Louhi to circle around him. Louhi closed his eyes, shaking his head slightly. 'The future isn't always 1oo%, but even I am surprised at this development. I suddenly got a burst of energy and quickly rushed to your side. From there I do believe I lost control for a bit.' Eon leaned forward, intrigue in her eyes. "Perhaps you're no mere Kadabra, whatever the case, I think we're ready for the gym now." 'Hold on, Eon.' Louhi held up a spoon. 'My premonition was certainly on this island, and it certainly was on this day, you still must go to the Granite Cave once more, there you will face your friend once more.' Eon's grip on her bag tightened. Biting her lip, she felt a n** of fear developing in the back of her mind. Fylgia eagerly rubbed up against her arm, drawing Eon's attention down to the little fox, the Lucky Egg still firmly tucked under her bamboo collar. "The future isn't 1oo%, so if we go now... she might just be there, right?" Louhi hesitated for a moment, eventually nodding. 'That burst of energy I had has subsided.' He added. Eon nodded, rose to her feet, then turned towards the door. This time, Saga didn't stand in her way, instead the Gecko seemed more ready than ever to go.

Setting off for Granite Cave, Eon made sure to make this her step one priority. It still took a good bit to reach the cave, but luckily it seemed the people who'd stopped her before along with Resa were now gone, likely retreated to whatever camp they had set up on the island. This made the path ultimately quicker. Though, Louhi's premonition just might still be held true. At the base of Granite Cave a small group had gathered around a camp fire. A single male stood guard, while the others behind him seemed to be enjoying a bit of downtime. She couldn't spot Resa, but a feeling in Eon's stomach told her she was there. "We've got to distract that guy.. Luffy, could you pull him in to the cover of the woods? We'll give him his own little party alone." Luffy nodded, grinning ear to ear. Lifting up a rock with esp, the feline tossed it towards the brush-line to their left. The male heard the rustle of brush and quickly went to investigate. Eon made her move, dashing into the woods, making enough noise for him to hear her. All went accordingly, he had a mini panic attack, unsure whether to give chase or head back to get reinforcements. The ultimate 'Hero Complex' told him to give chase.
Out on the sands, further down the beach, Eon waited. She'd made enough noise and left enough traces for even a child to follow her. When he finally emerged he'd already released one of his Pokemon, a Dustox. "You're the one we're after!" The male shouted, motioning his bug forward. His grin grew, he'd be promoted for sure for being Eon in, right? "Yep, but you'll have to take on me and my team first." Eon stated as Louhi advanced. "Louhi, Confusion!" The psychic-type wasted no time. The Dustox was down before the word go, with a super effective hit like that, no Poison-type could stand a chance. "Sh-s**t..." The male grumbled, returning his fallen bug. "Gulpin, Go!" He called. Eon didn't even need to issue a command, Louhi was smart enough to know what move to use on his own. With another confusion, the poison-type fell like the first. Sending out a Zubat next, Louhi did something Eon wasn't even expecting. He turned back towards her with a firm look in his eyes. 'Let the child have this one.' Louhi motioned with a spoon towards Fylgia. Glancing down at the small vixen curled behind her leg, Eon offered her a warm smile. "Go ahead, I can't recall what moves Zubat has, but it can't be that strong." It's a Zubat after all right? Fylgia sheepishly moved forward, taking her place in front of Louhi. The psychic-type nodded his approval. "What Pokemon is that? Man... If by some miracle I manage to catch you, I'm getting boosted so far up the chain of command. Zubat, use Bite!" Flapping forward, the bat swooped down and just nipped a frantic Fylgia's tail. She turned with a cry and launched her Punishment attack. "Fylgia you can do it!" Eon called. "Once more, Zubat, Bite!" The bat swooped down once more, attacking Fylgia. If it wasn't for the Zubat and Fylgia actually fighting, it would've actually been rather cute. Luckily Fylgia managed to fell the Zubat, though her strength was all used up during that one fight... there was certainly still some more training to do with her. "Fylgia you did amazing, come back for a rest. Louhi you can take care of his last Pokemon." That's just what Louhi did too. The males last Pokemon was a Skrelp, which, like the others fell after one Confusion. Knocking the male out was easy enough with her Pokemon's help. It didn't feel to good doing so, but it allowed them access back to the camp, hopefully no one had noticed the guard's absence.

Faraday felt the sand sink under his steps as they walked out onto the beach. It was hardly abandoned, with swimmers in the waters, bathers on the beach and probably other people doing whatever it was that beach goers did further along the shore lines. He heat from the sun and the humidity of the water even prompted the detective to remove his trench coat, folding it up and storing it away in his bag once more. He even rolled up his sleeves, a hand absently rubbing over his forearms and glancing at his tattoos as they came into view.
"Hmm…," He hummed lightly, hands dropping back to his side as he looked around. Chromie and Murphy had immediately bolted out to play in the sand, with Dresden hovering close enough to keep an eye on them, but not close enough to be a victim of and flinging sand. Sissil was still hovering behind, observing both surroundings and his fellow pokemon. Faraday gave a little smirk and as he fiddled with the pokeballs on his belt, turned to address the Magikit.
"Alrighty Sissy." He remarked in a sort of joking tone, immediately catching the Magikit’s attention. The ghost kitten apparently hadn’t missed the little nickname that the detective had produced. Which was good. Faraday gestured at the pokemon with a free hand, the other swapping his team around.
"So you saw how Murphy and Dresden handled the last gym battle, right?" He inquired, the Magikit’s head tilting just a bit in a curious gaze. The man gave a wave to the side as he continued. "Well, I want you to be the top dog in my next one, alright? So we’re going to do some training while we’re here, so you’re tough enough to handle it." Faraday rubbed at his chin a bit, head nodding along in thought. He had no idea where Calcifer was, but he could make use of Chromie or even Dresden again as a backup. He could worry about that later.
"So what do you say? You up for it?" Faraday rested his hands on his hips as he waited for a response. Sissil’s head tilted one way and then the next, a paw raising and pressing over his mouth as he seemed to consider. The narrowed, shadowed gaze gave the detective a moment of uncertainty before he finally received a slight nod and “Kit” in response. Perfect! That was what he wanted to hear.
"Alright then let’s find some pokemon to beat up."

The search for pokemon to battle proved to be … difficult. Like, really difficult. It was amazing the lack of wild pokemon life along the coasts actually; weren’t people constantly falling victim to Tentacool attacks and what not? Of course, that required a bit of drifting out into the water and Faraday lacked any kind of swimwear for such a thing. And he had no real intention of getting any just for that sort of situation to occur.
Still, they’d paced up and down the beach a good distance and the only thing they’d manage to find were a flock of Wingulls who taunted wildly from well above their heads. The detective wished he had some kind of a sandwich or bread loaf with him to chuck out; that’d get those damn birds down here and in range for some training. But that was a no go as well.
"Mmph…," Faraday rubbed at the back of his neck, giving a sigh of exasperation. Right so… this was a bit of a wrench in his plans and even Sissil seemed to recognize it. The little ghost had taken up a perch handing from his shoulder, eyes focused on the birds that were up above but out of reach.
"Hm… what to do…," They could move, though with how swiftly Murphy and Chromie had taken to trying to build some sort of sand creature, he would’ve felt bad displacing them from their fun. But there was nothing to fight either. And there was no training without fighting.
Maybe they could find a trainer or two willing to fight? That would work, though their pokemon might’ve been a little tougher than what Sissil could handle. A moment or so more of thinking and it was decided that would be the best solution though he ushered Dresden to follow along in the event it became overwhelming for the Magikit.
He kept his other pokemon in his sight as he moved down the beach, closer to the shore line. There were plenty of beach goers it seemed; one of them had to be a trainer of some sort. A little bit of walking and he managed to stumble across a young woman lounging casually in a beach chair, eyes and face shielded with the standard big sunglasses and sun hat while she sipped away at a lemonade. Really, the only give away that she might’ve been a trainer was the Tyrogue standing vigilantly by her chair.
"Excuse me, miss…?" Faraday inquired politely, pausing a decent distance away, both Sissil and Dresden watching curiously. She seemed to blatantly ignore them though, continuing to sip away at her lemonade. The detective frowned, stepping forward with a quirked eyebrow. "Excuse me-" His form cast a bit of a shadow over the girl as he moved, blocking out the steady stream of sunlight. This seemed to catch her attention and immediately she snapped up. ”You’re blocking my sun! MOVE.”
"What-" Apparently, his lack of immediate movement was enough to send the woman into a tizzy. ”Eeeeeeeee! Terry, do something!” She suddenly squealed, a finger thrusting out in Faraday’s direction the Tyrogue falling into a fighter stance and lunging forward at the shocked trio. Well that’s certainly not what he was expecting.

Dewford Town looked small however according to the main sign Dewford was 'A tiny island in the blue sea' pop 30. Returning Noivern Simon looked around at the buildings. There were three normal looking houses, the gym and the Pokecenter. Walking pass the houses he saw that one of them was considered Dewford Hall, 'Everyone's information exchange'. Not caring that he was hip or not he went to the gym to read its sign. "Dewford Town Pokemon Gym, leader: Brawly. A big wave in fighting."Simon read aloud. "Are you going to take him on?"asked a voice behind him. Simon turned and saw that man who was often inside the gyms. "No, I haven't taken on any gym in Hoenn so I can't battle him, not yet." The man smiled, "Good luck on your travels then." With that the man went inside the gym.

Wandering around the town a bit more Simon realized there wasn't a Pokemart. Going to one of the houses he went in and learned that the elderly couple inside sold organic healing items. They were good and cheaper however they were bitter and Pokemon didn't like them. Thanking her for the information but declining the offer Simon head out to walk towards the cave that was along the north side. Once again though there was a battle blocking his path. One side had "Grovyle the wood gecko Pokemon. This Pokemon adeptly flies from branch to branch in trees. In a forest, no Pokemon can ever hope to catch a fleeing Grovyle however fast they may be." It was facing off against a, "Masquerain the eyeball Pokemon. Masquerain intimidates enemies with the eyelike patterns on its antennas. This Pokemon flaps its four wings to freely fly in any direction-even sideways and backwards-as if it were a helicopter."

Watching as the Grovyle used moves like leaf blade and leaf tornado Simon saw that it was doing a pretty good job despite the bug Pokemon not being weak to grass. Flapping its wings the bug Pokemon shot out several air slashes at the grass starter. Since that was super effective the Grovyle fainted. The few others who gathered to watch applauded the battle and after returning their respective Pokemon they shook hands. As they left to go to the Pokecenter to heal their Pokemon up Simon moved pass to the cave entrance. "This cavern is famous for its cave art, which depicts events from thousands of years ago," a sign in front of the cave informed him. With a nod Simon went inside to look for Aron.

Making it back to the camp, Eon observed the group as they drank and chatted away the night. Among them, Resa rested. She seemed so distant from the other people, it was almost like she wasn't actually there. Eon swallowed a lump in her throat before she turned to her team. "Alright, I need to move alone... all of you should return for now." Saga was quick to protest, but a reassuring hand on her shoulder from Luffy and a nod from Louhi made her call back her argument. "I'll be one-hundred times more careful than I am normally." Eon added. After returning her group, she began her advancement through the camp. Taking paths in the darkness, she was surprisingly stealthy in sand. She found herself in a viable enough position; situated between two tents. The tent to her left had a side entrance, and from what Eon could see, no one was inside. The tent was large enough that it housed... a house really. A table, a chair, a few desks with a radio, laptop and various papers were placed all over the room. They had to of been here for something other than Eon. On a table, set up on the other end of the desks something caught Eon's attention. Scooting in closer she found what looked like a jewelry case. Curiosity taking hold, she slid inside to get a better look at just what was in that case. It was set apart from everything else, clearly it was special.
Just as she reached the case, voices grew louder until they were just outside the tent. The silhouette of a two people stood outside the door, apparently arguing. Eon quickly ducked under the table, hidden for the most part by a cloth that hang over it's edge. ".. Like I care!" Shouted one of the voices before they could be heard entering the tent. Only one set of footsteps. If she called out Luffy now, he could handle this person just fine. "Oh Eon..." Eon stopped, freezing solid. "I wish... I wish things weren't like this." It was Resa.... and she was standing beside the table... right where the case had been. "You're not the liar here, my brother was." Her foot steps moved around the table before she finally pulled out the chair and sat down. Eon tucked herself in tight to avoid touching Resa's legs. "I don't want to be here. I want to go home! I want my friends back!" A thud hit the table, likely Resa's head. Soon after Eon could feet the heart-wrenching sobs of her friend. So she was right, Resa hadn't changed. She'd been forced to. Eon wanted to just get up and reveal herself, but it was to dangerous. She waited, waited for what seemed like an hour for Resa's sobs to stop. Eon risked revealing herself by slipped out from under the table and poking her head over the edge. Resa held her head on folded arms, her eyes were red, puffy, closed. She'd fallen asleep. Hopefully Resa was a heavy sleeper.
