A fairly nervous chuckle escaped Eon's mouth when Gio mentioned he'd fought a pirate before in Olivine. Had he really? Was it just commonplace to dress up like a pirate? People did understand what Pirates were didn't they? She'd hope it was a child acting that way and not a full grown adult. It honestly made her worry for the world when pirates were a form of expression other than criminal activity. Whatever the case, she wasn't about to rain on anyone's parade, so with a light-hearted smile she returned her gaze to Gio.
"Oh, yea. Sure." She replied quickly after he'd asked if she was ready to head out. Stepping off towards the side, she looked around for a moment. "I uh.. Didn't really get to good a look at the map for Johto back in Violet City, so I don't really know where Cianwood City is." Following closely beside Gio, Eon kept pace as they headed out of Ecruteak. Gio then asked about what she'd actually wanted to ask him. The amnesiac smiled up at Gio nervously. "Well... I kind of wanted to ask you if I could possibly borrow one of your Pokemon?" It was a lot to ask, especially from someone who was still very much a stranger. "The thing is, I've run into someone... Or something that seemingly has really strong Psychic powers, like... He overpowered Luffy and even froze Louhi in place." Thinking back to the image of that man she bit her lower lip. "He's sending the Unown in the Ruins of Alph nutso, but... I just don't have anyone that can stand up against that."
As the two trainers approached the gate leading outside of Ecruteak, Eon felt something crawl over her body... But looking down she saw nothing. it felt like something was actually pulling at her, but with nothing visible, she ignored it until it grew almost painful. Stopping, she looked herself over once more, determined to find whatever it was that was tugging at her. Luffy floated up, his eyes showing concern, but more so anger. 'I can hear him.' Luffy muttered. Eon arched a brow. "Hear who? That man from the ruins? But...." How could that be? Had he followed Eon? No.. If he could of left the ruins he'd likely of done so, Eon assumed.

Gio kept a pretty fair pace trying to slow down every once in a while just to make sure he wasn't walking to fast for Eon to keep up. They had just made it out of Ecruteak when Eon asked him if she could possibly borrow one of his Pokemon. He scratched his head before turning around. "Well the thing is with Psychic Types I really wouldn't be able to help you. I'm a Steel Type specialist" he was trying to think of a good Pokemon he could lend her "But like I said, I'm a Steel Type specialist and Psychic Types aren't very effective against us." he turned back around and started to walk again. Let's see, Gio thought to himself. Pawniard would be a good option, but at the same time a quick speedy Pokemon like Magnezone would be excellent. The only issue was Gio didn't know if she had enough badges to control either one of them. That's when it hit him. He stopped suddenly and snapped a finger and turned it into a fist before slamming it down onto his other hand. "I'll tell you what Eon, when I first met you. You said you were looking for a certain fossil Pokémon in Dewford Cave. Kabuto was it?" he dug through his bag for the pretty much brand spanking new Poke Ball from when he was in Mt Morter. He popped it open to reveal the Shieldon. "I just caught this little guy but I think he would be a better fit for you. He is part Steel so he's nice and tough with a great immune system. Plus he's a fossil Type. So he's Perfect! Gio gave a proud smile as he finally figured out a way to be able to use the little guy. Even if it was just by lending him to a friend.

Lowering her hands down ,she held the ball out someways from her body in one hand. "You sure? That's really nice of you." With a smile, she looked back down at the fossil, and returned him to his ball. "I'll call him Gnome." Standing up ,she placed his ball into her bag, then nodded towards Gio. "You're right. Wouldn't want to be stumbling around in the dark." Resting a hand down on her bag, she once more set the pace towards Olivine. Saga stepped up close, keeping her gaze up on Eon as they walked.

Gio threw his thumb out as Eon asked him if he was sure she could keep the Steel Type she dubbed as Gnome."Of course, you would probably give him a little more love than I ever would be able to. So he's all yours" they passed by the Miltank Farm and likewise Eon agreed they needed to hurry up and get to Olivine.
Thankfully the trip wasn't to terribly far and pretty simple to locate. He at least hopped it was easy to locate since it was in fact his hometown. But of course Eon didn't need to know that. Just in case she tried to make him go see Jasmine. He just still wasn't ready to go see her yet.

Nanaska didn't know what made her stay so long in this particular city, in fact she had only just realized that if she wanted to try being a good trainer she'd have to go after the regions badges. The only problem with that is that she needs to go all the way back to the first gym. Unfortunately she realized to late that you cannot challenge gyms out of order. What a pain, on the bright side she'd get to travel more though. Heck she might even meet someone she could travel with. After all so far she had been all by herself, and sure she had traveled shortly with a few people. Could you really call that having a travel buddy though? She wanted someone who would stick with her and not just leave after getting to a city they were both headed to. At least that's what she thought true friends did together, not that she had any so far. Even though that thought was depressing, she was confident she'd meet someone she could befriend. She had managed to received an egg from the pokemon center. Apparently the breeder she had struck a conversation with had taken a liking to her and offered her a pokemon egg. At first Nanaska declined, after all pokemon eggs were very delicate. However, the breeder seemed insistent she take the egg, stating that she had extras she needed to give away to good trainers. Eventually, Nanaska caved in and accepted the egg from the breeder.
Currently the egg was held in her arms, her scarf wrapped around it to provide it warmth. She looked over at Akaor, Tuski, and Tsuko. All her pokemon were out of their pokeballs except for Lila since she wasn't much of a land traveler. She pursed her lips before speaking "what do you guys think, up for a little traveling so we can start challenging gyms?" she asked aloud. Akaor cheerfully jumped enthusiastically, barking a bit happily. Tsuko was calmer, and more relaxed about the whole thing. His cool demeanor showed and he simply nodded as he walked along side her, his arms crossed. Tsuki on the other hand chuckled a bit mischievously, causing Nanaska to sigh. Ever since she got him, the little fox pokemon had started following her. So eventually she confronted the little guy and held out a pokeball. She threw it, and just like that he became one of her pokemon. Though for some reason he just loved to cause trouble...

Everything seemed to be going well, that is until Tsuki started acting up. They were simply cursing through, heading towards the area the needed to travel to. That's when everything went downhill. Tsuki noticed a few shiny objects people were trying to sell, small trinkets and the like for tourists. Of course Nanaska stopped to browse a few of the stalls just to admire the pieces that were offered. Tsuki secretly moved in as Nanaska was speaking with one of the merchants about some history of the area before Tsuki was caught stealing the jewelry. Nanaska jumped as the man scowled at her and called her a thief. Nanaska denied his accusation, and turned to see just why he had accused her of being a thief. Needless to say she looked as white as a sheet. She scolded the small fox pokemon, before taking the trinket and handing it back to the merchant. She apologized, before turning towards the criminal "Tsuki! You know better than to steal, apologize too" she said sternly.
The small fox pokemon whimpered, his ears flopping behind his head as he looked up at her with his doe like eyes. Nanaska struggled to resist his cute little face "n.. no! I won't falter this time, apologize!" she said, trying not to fall prey to his cuteness. The Gekkit seemed annoyed, and growled lowly before barking somewhat apologetic. The market nodded, and shooed them away. After that Nanaska watched as Tsuko picked up the troublemaker and held him in his arms. Nanaska smiled at this, while Tsuki squirmed trying to get out of the Greninja's grasp. To no avail. With this Akaor jumped up and rested on Nanaska's shoulder as he started at the egg in her arms "you looking forward to the egg hatching too?" she asked. The flame pokemon nodded happily, before Nanaska hugged the egg closer to her chest "hurry up and hatch little guy, we all wanna meet you soon" she cooed lightly to the egg.

After the whole thief incident, Nanaska had managed to scare away the people she approached. It was quite troubling, since it was all a misunderstanding. A sigh escaped her lips, as she walked around trying to figure out where she should go. However, it seemed that lady luck hadn't abandoned her yet! A young gentlemen was handing out free maps of the areas, and luckily for Nanaska she had managed to get the last one. With that, she steered over to the side of the walkway, and opened up the map. She made sure to find a place to sit down, so that she could securely hold the egg in her lap. Akaor looked over at the map along side her "ok, so we're here" she said, pointing to their location on the map. Quilava nodded, pawing the place Nanaska was pointing. She then read a few details of each location that was located towards the side of the map. Once she found out where the first gym was she smiled "and we have to go here" she said, moving her finger across the page before stopping at their destination. Akaor tilted his head, and mirrored her movements smiling happily as he clapped joyfully. Nanaska laughed "boy are you easily entertained, look at those two... they're having such a harder time relaxing" she said, laughing a bit at the scene she witnessed.
Tsuki was now pawing Tsuko's face in an attempt to get free. Tsuko unfortunately didn't look amused and flicked the fox pokemons forehead coolly. Tsuki yelped, before shooting a glare at the ninja pokemon holding him hostage in his arms "Tsuki what did you think was going to happen after that bad behavior earlier? You brought this upon yourself... besides you may looked annoyed, but you're secretly enjoying the fact you have someone as a playmate" she said a bit smugly. Tsuki barked annoyed, before pouting a bit when he realized he was not getting out of the water types grip. Once that was settled, Nanaska stood up, egg in her arms as she walked towards the exit "alright guys lets go! That first gym is calling our name's after all" she said confidently, as she left the city.

Touching down in Ecruteak, Avikna dismounted Arietty. "From here we walk." She instructed, looking back at Arietty. "Why don't you take a long rest for now?" Avikna asked, holding up her ball. The lizard didn't seem to object, so Avikna swiftly returned the lizard to her small orb, form there she turned towards the east, but caught sight of the Pokemon Center, and suddenly... she was reminded of Etoile. Would her starter be useful coming up? Maybe? She wasn't entirely sure what the next gym specialized in. 'Couldn't hurt to add her.' Mave spoke up, after her normal eavesdrop into Avikna's thoughts. 'No, it couldn't. I'll have to send someone else back, I have far to many of you all with me right now.' She was stretching it, that much was for certain. Maybe Aer, and.. She'd hate to do it, but that Lapras she'd captured in the Union Cave. She'd have two Lapras in there, but eventually she'll end up training them all. Eventually...
Heading into the Pokemon Center, Avikna went straight for the Personal Computers, quickly launching the computer to her own account. Sending back Aer and Lyvantha and retrieving Etoile in return. Before shutting down the computer, Avikna noticed there was a letter attached to one of her Pokemon's images. Grabbing the letter, it manifested in a small slot below the screen. Of course it was addressed to her, and the sender was her grandfather. Reluctant to open it at first, she deciding nothing could come of harm to her if she just opened and read it.

The letter was utter nonsense, but in the end it rewarded her with a voucher for an item called a 'Mother's egg' Whenever she returned to Unova. Slipping the voucher into her bag, she discarded the letter and finally finished up her business with the Pc. Stepping away, the red-head rested on one of the large couches that riddled the front lobby of the center. Nepherit leaped over from Mave's head into Avikna's lap. The red-head wasn't entirely too keen on that bold move, but it was just a hatchling so she wouldn't get to angry with it. Instead she turned her attention to Aislin and Kezia. "You've both become rather buddy-buddy haven't you?" The red-head asked. Aislin narrowed her eyes, while Kezia seemed.... distant. Avikna couldn't really blame the Zoroark for being distant minded. Actually, Avikna was kind of impressed, she hadn't really been first hand to illusions in awhile, save for that ball awhile back. Standing before her, anyone would be fooled into thinking it was another human being. The Zoroark finally caught on to Avikna's stares and began to fidget some. "I guess, since you're on my team now I should have a look at you with the Pokedex." Much to her surprise, the dex saw past the illusion and brought up the correct information. Checking this Zoroarks states specifically, she found her move pool rather interesting, but a little red light in the corner alerted Avikna that the Zoroak was strong... perhaps to strong. "I can't use you in battle..." The red-head muttered. What a shame, she'd of loved to see that Illusion ability work first hand. Hopefully it wouldn't be to much longer before she could however.

Their short rest done and over with, Avikna quickly started for the mountain to the East. Aislin and Kezia followed on foot as well, while Nepherit took to the air with Mave. Avikna didn't mind the absence of company, given she was walked ahead of Aislin and Kezia. In the air, Nepherit sat snugly between the wolf's horns. Letting the wind blow in her face, the little hatchling's muzzle showed a large grin. "Enjoying yourself up there?" Mave called back to the Lupup. She sat up and nodded feroushiously. "I am! The wind feels so nice!" She replied. Mave let out a short chuckle, swooping down lower to the buildings below them. "That's good to know, I favor the sky over land any day myself." Nepherit once more nodded. "I want to fly like that green one on mama's shoulder!" Mave looked back, curious by the Lupup's words just than. 'Green one? Mama?" The wolf erupted into laughter. "Her be a mother? Well, I suppose she is sort of like a mother to you." Nepherit was mildly confused by Mave's words. Was she not her mama? "Well, whatever the case, the green one on your 'mama's' arm is called Ookoth, a Rayquaza." Mave explained. Nepherit moved up closer, resting her head down in Mave's fur. "Ray-qua-za? He looks cool, I wanna be just like him." Mave looked back once more, a devious thought coming to mind. "Well, I'd hope so, since Ookoth is your daddy." If the canine dragon could think one entirely different species was her mother, why wouldn't she believe a Rayquaza to be her father? Much to Mave's surprise, the canine dragon believed it! "My daddy?! Oh! Why is he on Mama's arm?" Mave let out another series of chuckles. She'd forgotten how silly young ones could be. "That's only a tattoo, a.. picture of sorts. The real Ookoth is.... Well, he's preoccupied." Mave wasn't cruel enough to bring up kidnapping and torture to a child.
They're conversation ended there unfortunately, as Mave banked down to meet up with Avikna, as they'd finally reached Mount Mortar. They're passage through this mountain would lead them over to the next town, and to the next badge.
