Gray's eyes flashed open in surprise. Once the final words fell from Donny's lips, he laughed. He laughed through his apology, and continued to laugh as Donny picked up some random clothes hastily, and walked towards the counter. "You might wanna just go to the back dressing rooms and change. We have to get going." He walked up behind him, standing too close as he chuckled and continued on, towards the rooms he mentioned. "As for a faux leader, you're sadly mistaken. And you'd be smart to stay on mine, and everyone around you's, good side kid. It'd be dumb to make ememies when you're trapped on unknown land. Especially with this being an island. Now, get dressed and meet me outside. The girls have probably beat us, princess." He seethed, laughing as he turned on his heels, heading for the door.
Once outside, he spotted the girls, grinning at the beauties in front of him.
"Ladies, Ladies, you both look stunning." He made sure to let his eyes linger on Cami, biting his bottom lip. The innocent thing usually wasn't quite his thing, but Nicolette did her up nice, and the new flush across her cheeks was almost endearing.

denying every tear. I wish this would be over now. But I know that I still need you here.

Nicolette had just begun explaining this party to her, when Grayson walked out of a nearby shop alone. Cami's heart raced as she searched for a sign of Donny behind him. She stretched her neck, but saw nobody but the tattooed boy, walking closer with a sinister smile across his face.
Ladies, Ladies, you both look stunning." His eyes were combing over her, she felt her cheeks get hot from the blushing. Before she could respond, Nicolette cleared her throat, then sighed- annoyed. Gray snapped his piercing eyes to the dark headed girl.
"Where's the boy? We can't exactly have them late to their own show, Gray." She placed her hands on her hips, tapped her foot, and rolled her eyes. "I mean, christ, what is he, a chick?" She laughed.
"No!" Cami croaked, suddenly both sets of eyes were on her. "He's not. Not a girl." She crossed her arms over her chest awkwardly, silently wishing he would hurry up as well, she did not like being left alone with these two.

Piper was oblivious to Derricks jealousy, but Twitch didn't miss it. He'd make sure to make that clear later on, but for now, he gathered supplies and lead the way back out into the corridor. Then they'd follow him outside, and all the way to the beach where the community parties happened.
"Don't be nervous. You're going to be great. Besides, it won't be you alone the whole time. Just when live music is necessary, Twitch has some stuff on the laptop too." She nudged Derrick as they stepped into the squishy sand. Then she leaned on his chest with one hand, and removed her wedges with the other. The rest of the way, she'd carry her heels until they got to the big gazebo, where she'd be able to walk without breaking an ankle.
Things were already set up most of the way, but they helped finish before the arrival of the special guests.
The closer the time for that arrival got, the more sick Piper felt to her stomach.
She finished helping Alexi set up some streamers, before finding Derrick with Twitch by the little stage, wrapping up the music setting. "Hey," She cut in, obviously interrupting a conversation between the two. "Think you can sneak off for a minute?" She really didn't care about being rude right now, things felt off. Her head was swimming, Donny would be here soon. Donny and Cami. The match made in heaven. "Please." She whispered, biting her bottom lip.

After leading the pair to the party site, he immediately started to set up a makeshift DJ area, complete with stuff for Derrick. Derrick joined him shortly after. About an hour and a half passed while they set up the stage area. Eventually, Twitch took a break for a drink while he watched Derrick mess with a mic. "So, whats your deal with her anyway?" He was watching Piper from across the gazebo. "I mean people talk, man. You two are attached at the hip, now her ex boyfriend, and fake match from the repub is here. With his ******** real match. This is some twisted s**t. What are you gonna ******** do?" He shook his head, running his hand through his small patch of mohawk. "I know you're not much of a discloser. But dude. Piper is a ******** catch. You have to know there's other guys here lined up, waiting for a shot at her." He chuckled, obviously trying to irritate Derrick into spilling. But of course, Piper cut in right before he really got to him, asking him to sneak off with her. She looked a little flustered, and he was curious about that.
But he knew where the limits were, stay close but remain objective. "I can handle it from here, Dare. Go on, get some." He laughed, walking away from the scene.

The laugh out of the tattooed man was ugly and evil. Was it possible to be on a good team but not be good yourself? Donny swallowed hard and nodded. He couldn't back up his threats and both he and Grayson knew it. He threw his outfit together and tried desperately to fix his hair before deciding it was as good as it was going to look and he ran outside.
"Sorry that took so long. I'm usually the first one out of the bathroom. Vanity isn't...um.. usually my thing." He rambled looking at Cami for help. Before looking up at the duo. "Off to the party then? Or do we have another stop?"The entire time he was speaking he prayed his voice wouldn't crack with nerves. When he got it all out he did all he could to hold in the sigh of relief that was building. Quickly he took Cami's hand and gave it a squeeze, looking to offer comfort and find it in return.

Derrick happily helped Piper as she took off her shoes not thinking of it but knowing that Twitch would read way too far into it. From the moment Derrick took her in Twitch had been on his a** about his relationship with her and from the get go Derrick refused to talk about it with him. Yeah, Twitch was the closest thing he had to a brother but he was a private person. Always had been probably always would be. He was very rarely honest with Piper and they had constant sex.
When they got to the gazebo they split up and unfortunately that meant being alone with the Riddler. "My deal with her is she lives with me and we ********. That's it. The same thing I've been telling you since the first time you asked."He couldn't help but cringe when he spoke of the long line of men waiting to get into Piper's favor. "Just about everyone waiting isn't right for her and one of them is scumbag Grayson. So like hell am I...hey!" He was interrupted by the girl herself begging him to go with her. She sounded as if she needed it. "Yeah sure. You be quiet now and don't ******** with any of my mic adjustments just because your master DJ." He followed behind Piper before taking her hand and looking at her. "What's up? You look like you may vomit."

Nicolette laughed as Donny stumbled out behind Gray, looking flustered. He quickly muttered some apology, reached for the girls hand, and asked if they were ready for the party.
"Must say, you clean up nicely." Not usually her taste, the preppy style. But this Donny kid was so innocently pulling it off. Cami took his hand, looking just as awkward as him. "I never put much faith in the whole tattoo thing, but you two were a match made in awkward heaven if I've ever seen it." Nicolette laughed, looking over at Gray. "I think we're done here. They should be pretty much set up by now. Gray, lead the way?" She nodded, stepping to walk more beside him, expecting the couple to follow behind. "You're gonna wanna ditch the heels when we hit sand, by the way. Its not a fun journey for your ankles, and you'll probably fall and make a fool of yourself."
That was pretty much the end of discussion as they walked along, until they arrived at their destination.

Cami fell silent as Donny ran out, interrupting with apologies. She had never been happier to see him. And boy, did he look ravishing. Suddenly, she found her hand in his, and gave it a little squeeze. She smiled thankfully at him, the mad flush still running rapid across her cheeks. She could feel it burning. But it only worsened when Nicolette commented on Donny's appearance. She felt the pit in her stomach churn with jealousy. How was she to compete with all the women who seemed to find her soul mate attractive? He was hers after all.. right?
Who was she kidding really?
They were stumbling along after the pair, Nicolette was telling her to take her heels off at the sand, and not make a fool of herself. But Cami just remained silent, squeezing Donny's hand harder than she meant to. She was so nervous. She didn't like parties, and she was feeling extremely insecure all of a sudden. She didn't want to do this anymore. She wanted to run home, feel secure in her safe home, and not be a fugitive. God, what were her parents going to think...
Then she felt Donny squeeze her hand slightly too, and suddenly it all made sense. This was why she was here. And he was worth every agonizing moment.
They came to the break in concrete where the sand begun, and she watched Nicolette remove her heels, and followed suit before following them towards a gazebo-looking thing. It was in the middle of the beach, but it was large, covering enough to include enough tables and dancing space for at least a hundred people. It was lit up with all sorts of lights, decorated with flowers, and music was already playing in the background.
Cami bit her bottom lip, turning to look at Donny. "Don't leave me alone, please." She whispered as their feet touched concrete. She put her shoes back on, and all eyes were turning on them as Nero came forward with a microphone in the center of the show.

Piper rushed off with Dare, not hearing what he said to Twitch as they left. He commented, telling her she looked ill.
"Thanks, that's so helpful." She forced a light laugh before leaning against the side of the gazebo. They were on the outer side of it, behind it but closest to the beach. She looked out as the sun continued to set, soon it would be completely dark and the place would light up like they planned for every party. The place would look immaculate in no less than ten minutes.
"I'm fine, just feeling... a little... off." She said, sighing afterwards. "This is a huge welcoming party... for my ex." A sarcastic laugh left her lips, she ran her fingers through her dark curls before making eye contact with Derrick. "I'm just feeling crazy, and I'm not sure I know how to silence it right now." Pipers eyes locked on Derricks lips as she spoke, her heart was racing. Everything felt so suffocating. And she found herself only wanting one thing. Without hesitation, Piper leaned forward, placed her hands on either side of Derricks face, and leaned in to kiss him madly. Soon, she found her back pressed back against the gazebo, her arms around his neck. Everything fell away.
For now.

There was something wrong with Piper and not one to usually beat around the bush he told her she looked off. Her forced laugh really proved she was not okay. And being the loyal puppy Derrick was and pretended not to be his brow crinkled and he leaned closer to let her know he was listening. His gut twisted when she acknowledged Donny as her ex but it passed quickly as he noticed her looking at his lips. He knew that look. He spent every night, almost since she arrived, indulging in the pleasure that came after the look. And just as expected he found himself pressed up against her tightly one arm on the gazebo and the other gently perched on her hip. He kissed her with the same ferocity she gave him and he let every other noise escape him. Not even the sound of more and more people approaching could phase him. Derrick's tongue sought hers. It was like they were in her bedroom again like they had been so many times, but this was far more exciting. Screw Donny. She might still want him but at least she took it out on Derrick. And for now that is what counted and Derrick was okay with that.
Suddenly the mic shrieked briefly before he could hear a familiar throat clear. "Attention please, my friends." It was Nero coming to give his "welcome to the family" speech. "We should probably get out there." He whispered in Piper's ear. "You might be insanely crazy. But you're my insanely crazy now. I'll take care of you and if you ever feel the need to let it out like that anytime during this party just lemme know." He winked and grabbed her hand leading her back into the gazebo. Almost instantly he picked out Cami and from there he saw Donny. He caught Cami's eye and he squinted a bit before giving the classic Derrick head nod.

 N E R O xxxxxxxxxxxx I'm counting all my bruises, xI'm not counting on myself. x Never careful of what I'd wish for, xnever careful with what I'd say.
Always begging for attention in my sick and twisted way..
Nero had woken up from his nap not even a half an hour before the party. He had to rush to get completely dressed and ready for the occasion. He wasn't even that old. But lately he felt like he was just tumbling down a hill and he couldn't stop. His head constantly hurt and he was just achy. But he had an island and a rebellion to run. He couldn't take anymore naps like he did today. He couldn't let his people run amok like they had been. He may be easy going and trusting but he watched. And he knew. Some of his people didn't think he heard about or saw what they were up to but he did and that is what being a leader is all about.
For only being put together in 15 minutes he looked pretty good. He walked alone to the beach where he scouted out the people currently attending and those showing up. He made sure his guests had arrived before he took the stage. Clearing his throat he began it as any of his other speeches. "Attention please, my friends." He watched as the attention all shifted to him and some scrambled into the gazebo. "For all of you who don't know I'm Nero. I run this beautiful island. We have joined together for this gorgeous party under the stars to welcome our new residents, Donny and Cami." He gestured towards the two who fidgeted awkwardly. "Don't look at them too long. Donny looks like he may explode from embarrassment." He teased good naturedly, grinning in Donny's direction. "Now please. Welcome and honor our new friends and eat. I got all this free food and no where to store leftovers. Eat drink and be merry."

Donny felt so self conscious in the presence of all these people who looked too different from what he was used to. They had different standards of beauty that intrigued and intimidated him all at the same time. As they followed along behind the couple Donny could feel Cami's nerves. She strangled his hand tighter than she had ever squeezed before. Calmly he just squeezed her hand back and rubbed soothing circles with his thumb.
When they reached the sand Donny helped support Cami as she took her shoes off and they walked across the beach. Never once did Donny let go of her hand. She was the only keeping him from vomiting. Everything about the set up of the party was beautiful and he took it all in before looking over at his girlfriend as she spoke. "I definitely wouldn't dream of it." He squeezed her hand again before looking around to see if he could spot Piper anywhere. Nero took the stage and, before Donny could find her, he began to speak and welcome them. Donny stopped focusing on finding Piper and looked up at the authoritative man. When Nero pointed him out his pale face turned beet red and darkened impossibly when the man called him out on it. It was a short and sweet speech and for that Donny was relieved. When it was over he gave one more quick scan and he saw Piper he was immediately excited until he saw her clutching the hand of stone face. It took all he had not to growl. To avoid more jealousy he looked over at Cami. "I'm starving. Wanna start at the food and see if we can make friends?" He asked her.

Their intense make out session was cut short by Nero's booming voice over the microphone. Her heart skipped as she leaned on Dare for support. Her knees were too weak to keep herself up, but only for a moment. He slid his mouth off hers and whispered into her ear about how they should get out there. Appearances and all. Besides, they didn't want to get caught in the sleazy act right at the start of the party.
"You might be insanely crazy. But you're my insanely crazy now. I'll take care of you and if you ever feel the need to let it out like that anytime during this party just lemme know." She giggled, "I won't hesitate." Piper's mind was caught on what he had said before, but she wasn't going to press it. He didn't give her a chance to. They were ducking around people, hand in hand, to push into the crowd in the gazebo just as Nero called out Donny. The lights flashed to him and her gaze followed. He was clutching Cami's hand, and she could see his blush from here. Her heart skipped, her hand tightened in Derricks.
Was it possible to fall in love with someone else, if you still loved the person who came before them? She knew she loved Donny, but did she have room for Dare too? Did he even want that? He had called her his...
Piper sighed as she watched the pair scurry over to the food. God, had they not been eating? What was he doing here?
She wanted time alone with Donny... But feared just that.
"Ready for the most uncomfortable night of your life, Dare?" She grumbled beside him, ending with a wink. "Why don't you get me a drink, I'll find us a table to sit at." She reached up to peck his cheek before parting ways.

denying every tear. I wish this would be over now. But I know that I still need you here.

Cami instantly felt the heat wash over her as the spot light found them. She leaned in closer to Donny, basically resting her shoulder against his arm. She was trembling even, just slightly. But thankfully Nero only called out Donny for his blushing. She looked up, smiling brightly at his boyish expression. Her heart tugged. He was so beautiful, so adorable... he was perfection. He was staring out, at something but Cami didn't have the heart to look. Instead, she waited for him to focus on her, and when he did he suggested food.
Yes. Food. She was so hungry. She wasn't used to not eating and they hadn't always had easy access to food on this trip. But she could smell the scents of fresh fruits, cooking meat, and the tables were lined with assortments of all sorts. It was amazing what these people had here. They had to grow this all themselves, cook it all themselves. They had a functioning, beautiful society here. It was nothing like the bad lands they taught about in school... They were so wrong about them. As soon as they approached the tables they were greeted with smiles and people moved to give them access to the food. "Thank you, hi. Hello. Yes, nice to meet you too." Cami was glowing, though totally out of her element. She felt anxious, but did her best to hide it.
That is, until she accidentally lost track of Donny and ended up running into the guy with the mohawk and tattooed head. Twatch, Twitch maybe?
"Oh, s-sorry." She almost spilled the cheese squares and crackers off her plate, her stuttered apology didn't help her case. "I just lost track of Donny... and I wasn't paying attention." She looked around, then saw that Dare... Derrick.. Daniel something, the one that was with Piper, coming up behind Twitch. Her cheeks flushed deeper.
Oh great.. Where was Donny? Where had he disappeared to? The crowd had separated them, she knew it wasn't his fault. But dammit!
The future that we hold is so unclear.,

Derrick could tell Piper was hung up on him saying what he did but he didn't want to get into it. He didn't even know what he meant. Did he want Piper? Yes. That part was blatantly obvious. But did he want her because they were good together or did he want her because he didn't want anyone else to have her. When he figured that out for himself he would let her in on it. For now he would continue on like they had been going.
He nodded when she asked him to go grab her a drink and leaned down so she could kiss his cheek. As she was walking away he playfully pinched her butt before he began over to the drinks. As he approached he saw Twitch. He ran up and clapped him on the shoulder. "What are you doing to this poor girl, Cyborg? She's redder than the sunset. At least I don't think that's her natural color." He turned to look at her with a stoic look on his face. There was no way to tell from an outsider point of view he was teasing. Twitch would get it. "Where is your scrawny republic boy? I'm kind of glad he's not around he gets on my nerves." Derrick began grabbing drinks and turned to Twitch. "Do you know when I'm up to play?"
