Aminah raised an eyebrow. She had definitely not remembered that. But now that Sathe placed it, she remembered the woman from the last time. They were both obviously younger then, and they hadn't spoken, so she was surprised that Sathe remembered at all.
"I can see that you're gonna be a big help already." She picked up and shaped the snow and threw as best as she could to the other team, hoping to impress the little girl with them now.

She looked to where she was standing and then to the back of the guy's head and the blue woman who seemed to be chewing him out before grinning and playing. What could it hurt, right? She trotted over and pushing her dreads out of her face, stood with pride. "My name's Yejide."

Sriina found that with as long as it had taken to make all the snowballs, they were gone before she knew it. Figured. Wasn't life like that anyways? She bent over to make some more snowballs, diverting her attention solely to the task at hand. No one had ever said she was good at multitasking.

With a flash, he remembered a little about her. Yes! Mella was a painter. Nuawahn grinned in delight at the recognition as he tossed a few snowballs towards Zena.
And she had drawn Amma.
His smile flickered, and he fought against the despair with another flurry of snowballs and a forced awareness of the cold impact of an 'enemy' snowball on his shoulder. It helped.
”You're back in Sauti!” he exclaimed, vaguely remembering that – yes – they had been in the Tale when they had met last, long ago. She'd been wandering.
He thought she had been, anyway. He couldn't remember that much, and what he did was eaten through delicately like lace, incomplete and patchy. He gathered up some more snow, starting a pile of usable snowballs to occupy himself. ”How are you?”

Onora watched as all of her snowballs missed their targets and a quick rage set in her eyes. She noticed Sriina across on the other teams side and quickly began patting together a huge snowball that took two hands to chuck over. As she threw it, she hoped it would actually make it to her friend and her smile grew as it landed right on top of her. Onora gave out a bellowing laugh and waved to Sriina, hoping she wouldn't be too mad.
