The new information that was being thrown at her slowly sunk into her mind. Octavia was quiet for a time, taking in everything. When it came down to it, there was no telling what kind of master she would be getting. It could go either way. But hearing the stories that Helen was telling her, it gave her at least a bit of hope that she would get lucky and have a kindhearted master, like the one she had. But the fact that she had just as much chance of getting taken away by some abusive character who didn't care about what happened to her...the thought made her shiver. She sighed and looked down at her shackled hands again. Taking Helen's advice she made quick work of relaxing at least some part of her wrists and arms. But it was hard to relax when you were worrying about how your life was going to play out. But, at least she could she had made a friend in such a dark place. This thought made it easier to relax. And soon Octavia could feel a bit of relief in her wrists. The cuffs were still tight, but it was bearable now. But still she refused to talk. It almost seemed like she regretted asking anything at all. Her mind was buzzing with scenarios. Scenarios of what each different kind of master would do to here, or have her do. And many of them...didn't end very well. She was a gypsy for crying out loud! She couldn't be a slave! She was supposed to be free. Free to roam around. She wasn't meant to be stuck in one place. She stared at her bare feet and sighed. How could things go so bad...so fast?

Helen watched the girl for a while, she could smell the fear coming off her in waves. The scent made the half neko nauseous and she scooted away more careful to not fall over but still needing some space between them. There was more silence and the gypsy’s expression was that of fear and concern. “Hey. Try not to think of it. the more you think negative the more negative will happen. Okay?” She said. It was a moment later Helen thought of a new topic, one she hopped would help the human have happier thoughts, at least for a bit, it was also something she wondered about.
“Hey, why don’t you tell me what it’s like, being a gypsy being free.” She said looking back toward the girl. “Is it true? Do gypsies steal money to provide for their families?” She asked. It was something her master had told her when she was young and they encountered one. Though Helen always questioned that she’d never had a way to prove or disprove it. “What’s it like being able to go where you want when you want, or traveling? What kind of people do you meet?” She asked trying to get a conversation going, and keep it going.
As she spoke Helen’s ears twitched, waiting for Octavia to speak and to know was was going on in the shop, if a master entered, a new slave, or if a master seemed to be approaching their cage. Helen was rarely off guard, and the few times she’d been caught off guard there was always a very good reason. Helen closed her good eye and sighed leaning her head on the cold metal bars her tail swished side to side until she eventually opened her eyes again. “I know you’re worried, but I’m sure you’ll be fine. As long as you mind your master’s rules and obey them well they shouldn’t treat you too badly. I’m the one who should worry, I’m just marked ‘dangerous’, whoever buys me is gonna want to ‘break’ me. At least for you they’ll probably want you as a pet, or a prize of shorts.” She sighed to many slaves such titles seemed to be an honor or whatever even though Helen herself never got the point she hoped that such information would help Octavia relax about things a bit.

Octavia leaned her head back against the bars again, the golden coins around her head jingling softly as they clicked against each other. "I guess thinking about it isn't really gonna help, huh?" she said as a small smile crossed her lips. Simple thoughts were not going to help this situation in any way. At least not thinking about it would make her feel better...for the most part. When Helen started to ask about her life as a gypsy, well that defiantly helped in brightening up her mood. The small grin that had been on her lips grew into a full blown, bright, smile! Octavia laughed before she began to contemplate the questions one by one. "Alright, let's see" she started. "Being gypsy, being free, hmmmm. How do I put this?" she asked herself with a laugh. Trying to explain Octavia's life was going to be difficult. "It has it's ups and downs. Ups being the experiences. Traveling, meeting other people, doing the things you love, for me that's dancing," Octavia chuckled as she remembered some of the times she would dance in the streets, and the people would cheer and throw money at her feet. But the smile slowly faded. "Downs... no one really wants you around. Nobody trusts you," she added. "But i guess that doesn't really matter. Mom always said'ignore the outsiders' words. As long as your heart is in the right place that is all that matters'," she said as she imitated an old woman's voice. She chuckled at her own antics. "The 'stealing money' thing," Octavia started again. "It's true, but we only do it as a last ditch effort to get money. We usually try to get money legally, palm readings, card readings, dancing, even a bit of healing," she said. "Gypsy's can't exactly keep a job, with all the moving around and all," she added glancing over at Helen with a smirk on her face. "Oh but the things we would see on when we traveled." Octavia went back to staring up at the ceiling, a dreamy expression on her face. "From the big cities, to humble villages. Humans, elves, dwarves, nekos, inus, half breeds of all sorts, mages. Even the occasional royal family could be seen," Octavia went rambling on about her travels. It was something she would miss. Once she was finished with her ramblings, Octavia relaxed against bars. She was defiantly happier now. Talking about her way of life and having someone actually listen made her ecstatic almost. And when Helen started speaking again, she gave the half neko her full attention, turning her head toward her, listening. Octavia furrowed her brow, but the smile seems to be permanently etched into her face. "Prize?" she asked out loud with a breathy laugh. "That's a big step up from 'street trash'," she added. "Another question. You? Dangerous? I can't see it. I mean, and please don't take this the wrong way I mean no offense, you're a neko. It's obvious that there's something else mixed in there. But still!" Octavia couldn't believe it. The way Helen had talked about her master and how they acted toward each other. She sounded like the perfect slave. The world made her twitch a bit. "Why would they mark you as 'dangerous?'"

Helen Watched Octavia a moment before her gaze shifted to looking up and she was staring into nothing. Her ears were still on high alert and even though it didn’t look it she her nose was shifting though the different scents in the shop to alert her to any possible danger. When the gypsy responded, the half neko looked back over at her. “No, it never does.” She replied. Helen was pleased when her attempts at lightning up Ovtavia’s mood seemed to work, the air also cleared a bit and the negative feelings no longer bothered her sensitive nose. She looked over and was glad to see the bright smile on the other girl’s face and to even hear her laugh was a nice sound.
Helen listened with interest as Octavia explained what it was like being a gypsy and being free. “The ups to it sound amazing, That’s one thing I’ve always wanted to do more of, travel. I’ve apparently been many places but I’ve never gotten to enjoy it. I get there, work, and return to my master’s home. Though I never liked it then because I was always stuffed in a car trunk or some over more hidden area and leaving my master’s side always made me uneasy.” She said with a shrug. “I do admit I enjoy my ‘job’ though, and I guess having a master works for me because if I get caught doing ‘bad’ it’s on him and not me.” She added giving a small laugh even though she knew she’d never been caught even once. Helen thought about the downs for the gypsy’s life. “People who know me don’t trust me too much either, these chains are proof of that...” She replied after some thought. “I like that, your mom sounds smart.” She added with a smile, but couldn’t help the amused chuckle at the imitated old woman’s voice.
Helen listened carefully to what Octavia had to say about them stealing money and nodded. “So he was right…” She muttered to herself. Helen looked away a moment thinking about it. “Those legal ways you earn money sounds interesting, but it seems to me like you would also get a lot of problems if someone decided to claim it to be false or something like that. But maybe I’m over thinking people’s nature in those things.” She said, not really sure how any of it worked as it was never something Helen, or anyone she knew, took part in.
Helen smiled when Octavia mentioned things they saw in their travels. “Those places sound amazing!” She said, wishing in some small part of her being to be able to see things, and travel a bit. The royal family is amazing. “My master always told me stories of them once, he even took me to meet them once, right after I completed my training, he wanted me known as one of his incase he sent me on an errand there or something. I haven’t seen them of been around there since, it was something about me being too dangerous or too skilled or something.” She said Helen didn’t really care for the royal family too much, her master had been an important man and knew many high up people, none of which liked Helen, nor Helen them.
Helen too relaxed agents the bars a bit more when Octavia was finished talking and the mood seemed to relax. She let out a deep, contented sigh. Helen nodded when the other girl repeated her word, quietly confirming it. She smiled when she mentioned it being a big jump. “When you’re free they find you annoying and there’s too many gypsies around, but a gypsy as a slave, that’s uncommon so they are prized, and bonus points if they were caught and not born in slavery and taught by a enslaved parent.” She replied.
When asked about the reason she was considered dangerous Helen had to think of a good way to explain it without saying too much, but also so it made sense. “Let’s see… It’s not my neko half they’re worried about. It’s my other half… I’m exactly half neko and half vampire which is rare because it’s exact and no give or take I’m the only one. There are other “Half breed” Neko/Vampires, but all of them are either more Neko, or more Vampire. For me it’s exact and they seem to think that makes me unpredictable at times because of that fact. Then you add the point where I can fight, and I have no qualms about blood or that they fear I will attack unprovoked or without any form of order or warning.” She sighed, a sad expression on her face. There was also the expiation that knowing that would make Octavia become afraid of her. “I could technically free myself right now if I really wanted to due to my training, but I won’t. Also I have never attacked anyone unprovoked or without my master ordering me to. I only take orders from someone I trust and claim as my master, none of the guards, or customers here can get away with ordering such things of me.” She added looking away unsure how the human woman would react. “As for my need for blood I only drink from bags and it’s donated blood sold to the vampire communities. There’s a difference in tast when it’s willingly donated and taken frin an unwilling person.” She said a blush appearing on her cheeks, Helen decided to stop talking right then because even though she was trying to not scare the human, such things was not her specially and Helen felt like she was doing the complete opposite of her intuitions.

Octavia stared at Helen, the new information processing through her brain. Half neko...half vampire...It took a moment for the information to really register in her brain. Half neko...half vampire... "So perfect balance of neko and vampire," she said as the it finally settled in her mind. This new information made the gypsy a bit uneasy. Being in such close proximity to a bloodsucker, even a half breed, who put a lot of people on edge. But then again, Helen had shown no ill will toward Octavia. Hearing everything that she said, she wasn't about to attack any time soon. "It's a very strange combination. In my opinion, at least. Please do not take offence," she said. "It's not a combination i've heard of," she added with a smile. In fact, she had heard of very few combinations, even with her extensive traveling. In Octavia's opinion it made Helen unique. Made her different. Made her stand out in the world of carbon copies. But it did put her on edge. Vampires hadn't been the kindest when Octavia's gypsy tribe would venture through a town that housed vampires. Now it wasn't every vampire that was cruel to them, there were some that were very kind and would even shelter the weary travelers. But when a group bared their fangs, it wasn't something you easily forget. "So you don't attack unless provoked, you don't just take blood," Octavia started with a smirk on her face. "You're defiantly not like the vampires one would read about in books," she added with a chuckle. "But still, remind me to stay on your good side," Octavia laughed as she turned her head toward Helen with a smile on her face.

Helen waited for the information to process in Octavia’s mind. It was a lot to take in, when the gypsy repeated that she was a perfect balance of neko and vampire she nodded easily sensing the unease of her cell mate Helen shifted away not wanting to be too close to her in case she got scared.
Helen nodded when Octavia said I was a very strange combination. “I’m the only one who’s exactly half and half, and even the typical half breeds who leans heavily to one species or the other are rare enough.” She replied. “It’s not offensive at all. I would have been more doubtful had you said you’ve heard of a half breed like me.” She replied her voice gentle as she looked toward Octavia.
Helen shrugged, “Let’s say I try not to unless provoked, starving, or I’m ordered to by one I accept as a master which so far is only one person in my past.” She replied. “However I prefer blood from a willing person than that from someone who wasn’t willing.” She added with a small shrug not missing the smirk on Octavia’s face. She laughed when Octavia said she wasn’t like the vampires in the books one would read. She smiled. “My master wasn’t like them either, I learned from him. He said that living that way was alright for a time, but then once you’ve tired from it it’s hard finding a peaceful life.” She replied. “Don’t worry about it I have a feeling that you being in any danger of me will be quite hard to do.” She replied with a small smile.

Warlock~Master~Caring Magnis stepped out of his limo and motioned his guards to open the doors for him. The warlock walked slowly down the halls between the cages and sensed the aura around each and every slave. He was blind so he had to read each one to his liking. As he stepped around a corner he sensed a Japanese man who seemed interesting. He walked up to the bars of the cage, " Hello, what is your name may I ask." He could sense a bit of hostility, but not in a way most slaves where. He seemed to be proud, so that made him hard to control. Magnis pondered the thought as he waited for the man to speak his name. His guards at either side of him waiting for a command. The warlock waited in silence so he could soak in the energy around him, making the eerie mist from his eyes begin to seep out from under his blindfold.

That morning,Jin woke from his nap then took off his glasses. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes.''Hmm....'' he mumbled softly. He then put his glasses back on before looking in the hall he was in.He then looked at his katanas. When he heard a male speak,he ignored him at first, figuring the male was talking to someone else.Still sensing his presence,he looked at the male, somewhat surprised that the male was talking to him.''If I tell you, will you leave me be?'' he said.He didn't feel like being bothered by random people that needed a slave cause they were too lazy to clean and cook for themselves.

Warlock~Master~Caring Magnis was stunned at what the man had said and his aura as he said it. " I can sense that you don't like your status, do you?" he said as he placed his fingers on his face to ponder the moment. The warlock smiled a bit as she slowly moved closer and removed his fingers from his face. His finger touched the metal bars as he smirked at the man, " You may choose to tell me your name, but I do not promise to leave." The man turned to his guards and waved them away while he did not speak. The men walked away, but stayed close enough just in case a slave became hostile. Magnis turned back to the man and smiled once more, " If it makes you feel better I can introduce myself first." The warlock listened to the man's breathing hoping that he would be gracious enough to allow him to know his name.

''Shut up.I'm a samurai.I'm not some lowly slave.'' he said at the male's question. He then crossed his arms.He was a accomplished samurai. He certainly did not do so much difficult training just for it to be for nothing and be reduced to cleaning floors and cooking meals for some random person.''Ugh.Pest.'' he said then gave an annoyed sigh at his answer.''I don't care what your name is.Why would I? Your an annoying pest. You want someone do your chores for you like the rest of them do.Look elsewhere for a butler or servant.'' he said.

Warlock~Master~Caring Magnis became irritated with this man that his eyes began to pour with mist. The warlock muttered some words and placed his hand through the bars. Quickly a dark mist shot from his hand and wrapped around the man's arm pulling him towards Magnis. " I have been nice, but to call me a pest is an insult to someone who could treat you with respect. You may think you are high and mighty, but it could end in your demise," he said as the mist moved closer to him. He did not want to hurt the man, but give him a reason to respect him. The guards from a far watched as their master showed just a small ounce of his strength. They knew that he made his choice just by this act of domination. Magnis snarled before he realized his grip and turned from the bars and snapped his fingers. The guards quickly walked up and Magnis leaned into the ear of one before they nodded. One walked away to get a guard in the warehouse. " I may not know your name just yet, but you are entreating me. I am Magnis Blood your new master. You may think you will be a butler, but I have much more in store for you," he stated as he snapped his fingers again and a file was placed in his hand. He ran his fingers through the file slowly as the words flew off the page and moved near his ears before landing back on the page. He handed money to the warehouse guard and his men walked to the cage and opened it. " Oh before you open the cage please retrieve his katanas for safe keeping. I feel as if he may try and use them at the moment," Magnis said with a smirk and stood still awaiting the guards.

The samurai struggled when the male used his magic to pull him by his arm.''Let me go...I'm not cocky but I'm no weakling or mere slave either.Let me go.'' he protested. He glared at the magician who seemed to of decided to buy him.He backed up against the cage when the guards came closer out to take his beloved katanas.''You can't have them. They're too important for me to just hand over.'' he said.He swiftly striked at one of the guards through the bars, cutting part of the male's bangs and forehead.

Warlock~Master~Caring Magnis snarled when the blade made contact with his head and blood trickled down making a thin red line on the cloth over his eyes. He took a deep breath and exhaled as he wiped some blood off. " I never said you couldn't have them back just not at the moment. You better be glad I like you so far," he said as he turned to look at his guards. The guards looked as if they where going to slaughter the samurai, but their master did not give them an order. " You may keep your katanas, but you must sit with me in the car and spend the night with me. After that I will choose what you are useful for," Magnis had a thought already of who he could be, but he had to test him first.

Jin looked at the blindfolded man, ignoring the glares and death stares the guards were giving him.''A samurai's sword is usually something his family passed down to him or something he has fought many battles with. It's not to be trifled with or used in games.Order me to do your dumb chores all you want but you can't have my swords. You can take my glasses or my hairpin-something trivial like that from me but not the most expensive, valuable things on my person that has allowed me to have many good, hot meals and shelter every night.I'll agree to not attack you instead. You'll not have to worry about me attacking you the moment you've let your guard down.We can agree to that and I'll fulfill that agreement. But if you try to take my swords from me or have your guards do it,you'll get my swords but not without injures.I've cut many limbs, torsos, and ears off with my swords and I don't just hand them over to random people so casually.I'll agree to not attack you and we can leave it at that.'' he said.

Warlock~Master~Caring Magnis smiled as he reached his hand out to the man so he could lead him to his limo. The warlock was pleased to have such a strong spirited person in his presence. He may not be able to see, but he can tell the soul of someone just by being near them. " I feel as though we will get a long very well Jin, or would you like me to call you something else. Either way I will enjoy your company very much so please follow me," he said as he waved his guards to walk in front of them. Magnis looked at the warehouse guards as they where in shock towards his reaction to the incident. Smirking as he walked down the hall, he enjoyed having people ponder his intentions. He believed a lot of people may think he was sadistic, but he was truly caring and loved changing the course of peoples lives. " I do hope you enjoy mine as well and enjoy my home. I already have a room set up for you, but how tonight goes is whether it becomes yours or not," he said with a tender smile.
