Seasons Greeting, fellow Guildies! I can't possibly begin to tell how exciting this all was--organizing this event--so, I hope you all have a splendid time. I would like to, especially, thank Darkerdemons for all her wonderful contributions to the thread; I don't think we would've been able to start on time without her. heart So without further ado, I welcome you to TMCG's first ever Nutcracker Ball! We've got exciting things happening here, so please check-in with all our mini-event hosts on the first page: You'll have a chance to win fantastic prizes! But make sure you stay tuned for our main event, The Battle For The Land of Sweets (snowball fight), happening Dec. 25th, 2014! By participating, The Nutcracker Prince will prepare you for the battle to come! What your participation at The Nutcracker Ball gets you:Raffle Tickets - Raffle tickets are worth TWENTY (20) snowballs, each. A guest can quote Thornwick, daily, to receive tickets and snowballs; tickets are limited to TWO (2) per guest, a day. Guests can collect raffle tickets until December 30th, 2014. So, be sure to check in with the raffle daily; it just might save you on the battle field. (See first page for more details.)
Tektek Contest - Each tektek entry is worth FIVE (5) snowballs. Guests may submit multiple entries for a chance to stock up on ammunition. Entries may be submitted until December 24th, 2014. (See first page for more details.)
Writing Contest - Written entries are worth FIFTEEN (15) snowballs, each. Guests have until December 30th to turn in their written submissions. Even if you’re not Hemmingway, you still have a fighting chance with a couple of snowballs in your pockets--that is, if they don’t melt first. (See first page for more details.)
Dance Cards - Guests must collect their dance cards at the very start of the ball. At that time, the Bonbon Carousel will commence with a set dance schedule. Guests must find a different dance partner for each dance. Dance partners are worth THIRTY (30) snowballs, each, if you've successfully completed the dance. If not to brush up on your dance skills, do it for the extra ammo. (See first page for more details.) **Every snowball handed out to every player will be recorded within the Guest List; breakdowns will be found in the posts below.** And while you're waiting be sure to stop by Frit'z's Fancy Photobooth and check-in with Roni and Othello to have your picture taken!
