It was hard not to be disheartened by the response, but Antiope could hardly blame them. That didn't keep her from flinching at those in the crowd who voiced their disapproval. Until the others, in the tent, finished with their preperations, though, it was HER job to keep things flowing. So, drawing herself to her full height, Antiope stepped away from the tent.
"We need everyone working to distribute weapons to those who don't have any. These can be found in our Supply Tents, so make sure you grab a weapon as soon as you can. There will also be need of those who can move quietly, scouts or hunters -- if you are interested in participating, please come back after you've equipped yourself and we'll discuss the mission."
(( Next meta post will be 12:00-2:00AM CST October 9th. Anyone interested in moving to the Oba camp for a stealth mission needs to tag Suhuba and have assembled at the leader tent, in rp, by 12:00AM CST October 12th.

Makani - mage Location: Edge of camp with a small group of others Post: 4
The sound of someone colliding with the invisible wall that he'd summoned up caused Makani to perk up, feeling a moment of delight over the fact that his spell had actually held up! Here he'd thought that it would be something that a person could easily knock down since it wasn't one of those spells that he'd really had a chance to use that much. It had worked though! How great! Of course even has he gave a bit of a smile over the victory he realized that the aura with the strong aura was coming his way. Ohhh, so he was the one that ran into it? He wondered if he should be surprised or not? No time to debate it though as he now had the guy's attention on him. Probably not the best thing to acquire but at least he wasnt fighting with the others anymore?
Makani gave a smile as the warrior got closer and said, "We should reserve our strength for the battles ahead instead of spilling the blood of allies inside the camp." Not that he would be out there personally, he wasn't really ready for a big battle, but at least he'd do what he could here. Lifting a hand to rest it against his own chest he said, "Not 'you little' my name is Makani, how about you?" He asked of the warrior, then holding his hand out toward him. He found himself wondering if he could distract the guy with polite introductions? Maybe calm him down a bit? It was worth a try, for him to keep the attention the warrior with the threatening aura on him so the others might be able to retreat.
"Hm?" Makani gave a bit of a chuckle as he was told to 'open his eyes' before he did as he was told, his hazy yellow eyes opening before he turned his head from side to side for a moment, before he said, "I apologize, friend, but I can't say I see either. If you are concerned that there are enemies in our midst though perhaps we can, calmly, escort them to Antiope or one of the other leaders? It would be the quickest, and most blood free, way to get things cleared up."

Aysun - prentice Location: The Big Lizard's Cage, chatting with Chandra, Takoda, & Korra Post: 3
Aysun gave a little pout when his brother didn't rise to the bait that he'd tried to feed him before he turned his head, noticing that his kindly Uncle Takoda and Korra were approaching where the two of them were hanging out. He lifted a han dup, waving it at them, "Hello there Uncle Tako, Korra! How's it going?" He asked of them, wondering what the two of them were up to over here. He'd of thought that Uncle Takoda would be hanging out in the Healing Tents but instead he'd come over here... huh. He was given his answer a moment later when he started off with saying he needed to request a favor of them. A favor, huh? He wondered what it was that he needed.
"Alright... what did you need? I am sure that we can help out with whatever it is that you are needing." He liked his Uncle Takoda, he was a nice guy, always had been ever since Aysun could remember. It was no wonder that Uncle Jacinthus hung off Takoda, possessively at that, whenever the two of them were together in the same place. Since he was sure that Chandra surely felt the same way he didn't really mind volunteering him to help out as well.
Turning his attention then to Korra he grinned, "Hey, Korra! Check out this awesome lizard that I am going to steal!" He called to his little cousin, motioning a hand at the giant creature that was behind him, "Do you want to help me to feed him? He seems willing to eat anything I bring him but loves Tale Grubs the best I think."

Rishima - Amazon Location: Heading over to help Antiope Post: 2
Lifting his spear up to rest on his shoulder Rishima turned his attention when he heard Antiope calling out to people, seeming as though she was seeking out help with a mission she had in mind. He seemed to get a thoughtful look on his face before he glanced at his fellow hybrid 'sister' and said, "I am going to help Elder Antiope." He explained to him before he moved away from the supply tents, tucking the supplies he'd gotten there into his pack. She seemed to be in need of helpers and he felt that he might be useful to her cause. On his way there he found himself wondering about Gerraden, if he'd heard her as well, would he be volunteering?
A part of Rishima would rather the younger male stayed in camp but he'd bet his spear on it that if Gerraden saw him going to help that he'd likely tag along. He supposed that he'd see soon enough if the boy spotted him and followed after him. Once he'd arrived where where she was waiting for other to gather he planted the butt of his spear on the ground, then leaned against it saying, "I would like to volunteer if you think I would be of use to your mission." He said, his antennae twitching a bit as he awaited her answer. If he was taken along he'd have to be ready for anything he supposed, he didn't know exactly what the mission was, but if it involved Obans and their subsequent capture he had done that once before in the past so... he supposed that he was up for the task?
Thinking more deeply on her words, and given that she mentioned being in need of those who were 'quiet', though maybe it was just an information gathering quest? He really couldn't help but to wonder as he looked around, curious who else might come along.
Keilana - massif Location: Patrolling with Jacinthus Post: 2
Irritated at the familiar nickname she didn't argue with him about it. 'Little Kei' was her brothers nickname for her since ...longer than she could remember. But her arms were too sore for her to make any cutting remark and as she rubbed her numb fingers over her arms to bring back the feeling she just glared at her brother instead.
"Well you shouldn't be alone out here. I thought you were the enemy." She snapped as she eye'd her hammer that lay in the dirt before her. Pondering if she would be able to lift it right away or should wait a little longer until her arms stopped tingling. The woman felt exposed however without the weapon and was eager to pick it back up, even as she gingerly reached for it half bent over as she responded to him.
"The 'brats' as you refer them are almost grown men, I can't tell them what to do anymore than you can make it rain. They are willful and both of them are back at camp. I spotted some strange creatures and beasts being contained there and I am almost one hundred percent sure that is where we will find them." Keilana managed as her fingers gripped the hilt of the hammer and she attempted to heft the heavy weapon up.
"I am fine," She stressed the last word with a hiss between her teeth, ignoring the pain as the hammer came out of the small crater and back into the air. "But I am more concerned about you, why are you out here by yourself? Where is Takoda? Where is Chal? You didn't do something to him did you?" Her eyes narrowed at the last question, after all though they were not on romantic terms he was the father of her children and she wouldn't let anyone take her kids father away.

Chandra - prentice Location: The Big Lizard's Cage near his brother /Takoda / Korra Post: 2
The young man rolled his eyes at his brothers exclamation about how 'cute' the creature was. Cute was certainly not the word he would use to describe a creature like the one before his brother. Its large eyes, and large mouth....long tail and strangely fringed head. It made him shudder and feel as if it could probably it could swallow you whole if it so chose to. At the rather ridiculous question about bringing it home he shook his head and rolled his eyes once more.
"First of all I doubt you could get it out of here without someone noticing, secondly mother would kill you." He stated with a air of finality on the subject, it was a stupid conversation anyway. Looking up to see their Uncle Tak heading towards them with a little girl they had picked up in tow. His feelings on the girl were mixed, though he felt it was a good thing for their uncle's to have taken her in he felt that perhaps it would of been better if they had taken her to her proper home rather than continue this farce.
Still he didn't mind being volunteered by his brother to look after her, just giving his uncle a nod and snapping his book closed again. Moving to step up towards his brother giving him a cold look.
"Don't put ridiculous idea's into her head." He snapped top Aysun before he turned to his uncle. "Don't worry Korra will be fine with us. Where are you headed? I head they are looking for a preemptive strike team."
Borra - Minstrel Location: With the troupe and Viveka Post: 2
Finding himself shoved in the direction of their body guard he felt himself blush slightly, he was feeling a bit on the exposed side with the threat of bloodshed looming again. He didn't want to remember the bloody wounds and corpses the smell of death hanging in the air. He felt his stomach clench at the memories he had tried so hard to block out from the first part of the war. Sinking against Gyuri slightly his shoulder touching the broad chest of their body guard he attempted to shake the feeling of illness trying to over come him.
Smiling weakly up at the man he shook his head slightly and tried to pay attention to what Eira was saying. Vive? Pretty Vive? He certainly was handsome that much he couldn't deny, though his interest perked at the mention that the man's mate was also a musician.
"OH! Is that so?" His obvious enthusiasm was perhaps a bit childlike, "What instrument does she or he play?" He inquired curious now, if they joined the troupe that meant he could try and work with this other musician. Perhaps they could sing better than he could, his talent lay primarily in playing the lute, not in singing.
Sin'qua - Mage Location: With the Troupe and Viveka Post: 2
'Sinny' as much as she hated the nickname was perhaps a bit on the happier side to see the troupe all together. At the mention of this new comer she fixated her narrow gaze on him. Alright so Sin'qua wasn't exactly the friendliest of people, she couldn't help but analyze the pretty boy as just that. A pretty face with little to offer. Great. They didn't need another 'pretty face' Eira was quite enough for her to deal with. A crackle of electricity ignited on her finger tips and she clenched her hand into a fist. This sort of dribble and familiarity was suited for her brother...and the rest of them not her.
Her thoughts went to where Makani had gone, and she felt the unpleasant emotions rise again when she thought of the man. Alright not unpleasant more...uncomfortable feelings she wasn't use to. "Eira...any idea where your brother went? The 'troupe' as it were isn't quite together if he is missing." She managed with a snappish tone.

"There's so much to see in the camp! It is a lot of fun! Um..." At Ime's last question Kres paused and rocked back and forth on his heels. "Well....I told him I was going to find Momma but didn't really wait for him to tell me if I could or not..." He smiled mischieviously and swung his hand holding Ime's hand back and forth and smiled up at her. He always liked being with Miss Ime. She was always so nice and Mommy liked her and Kres thought she was awesome. Ime wasn't boring like some that had to watch him sometimes and he was glad he had been able to sneak into camp.
Takoda - Soul Linker Location: Near Chandra and Aysun with Korra in tow Post: 2
The shifter looked taken aback as he hadn't yet asked if he could leave the girl with them but it seemed that Chandra was ever perspective and had managed to grasp his reason for coming to them. Looking down to Korra as she looked to Aysun with bright and excited eyes he felt himself feel as if he was abandoning her.
"Ah...yes I ..would appreciate if you two could look after her." He managed with a hard swallow, his hand tightening on hers for a moment as the man was having a difficult time letting go. When she began to tug against him though wanting to go with Aysun to look at the beast he was forced to let her go.
"Ah...turning to Chandra at the question poised at him he thought on it. No he needed to go find Jacinthus. There had been much time with the two of them being separated and he couldn't help but worry about his lover and mate. Though he felt it was selfish of him to not help out more for the cause, but he had many heavy things on his mind. Primarily to keep his family alive.
"I am going to be meeting up with your uncle Jacinthus, and perhaps your mother and father." He managed to say instead, "Please keep yourselves safe." Takoda stated as the little girl went to her 'cousins' and he felt as if he may never see her again.
"Ah...don't forget..she tends to ..." He leaned in to Aysun to whisper the last part, "Get lost easily...make sure she never leaves your sight."
Korra: Youngling Location: Near Chandra and Aysun with Takoda Post: 2
Feeling Takoda's hand on her was a comfort but as many young children were like she was excited by Aysun's mentioning of the beast, and how he was going to get it home. She offered him a giggle and then pulled away from Ma Tak ever eager to see what it was that Aysun was talking about. A beast!? He wanted to take it home? That sounded really interesting.
"Are you really going to steal it?" She asked with a big o on her lips in wonder. "But isn't stealing bad?" Came the next question with a tilt of her head as she left the safety and comfort of her Ma Tak to join in the hyper energy of Aysun. She couldn't help but be blinded by his charm and happiness and wanted to share in it as much as she could.

Finnley sighed as she finished yet another potion. She hadn't really left the tents in some time so she thought now was the time that she needed to. She heard Ime's familiar voice and thought about going over and talking to her but she noticed a little shifter holding her friends hand. Finn settled for just waiving at Ime as she made her way to the entrance of the camp. Pushing the tent flap back, her eyes squinted shut against the brighter light. She was just going to wander the camp aimlessly and began to do so until she heard the playful tones of a flute. With fingers crossed, she went towards the noise and hoped to see one face.
It drew her towards the familiar pens and pulled her cloak around her as the sounds got louder and just hoped with everything that she would see the familiar hair. All her wishing seemed to pay off as she rounded the corner she saw Natsu playing his flute and talking to the animals. She smiled softly and put her staff in her non-dominant hand. Finnley hadn't seen them since the last battle and she had changed quite a bit. It made her wonder what he would think of her. Nervously, she pushed some hair behind her ear and approached him. "Hello Natsu." She said simply and adjusted her hands to where she was holding the staff in front of her kind of like a bouquet.
Gerraden - Swordsman Location: Catching up with Rishima and heading towards Antiope Post: 2
Chewing on his lower lip he watched as Rishima moved towards a woman who was requiring help for a special mission. Well of course he wasn't going to let Rishima go on that mission without him. So much for trailing behind and trying to just watch him from afar. Of course...he was also very happy to be getting closer to Rishima rather than watching from afar. It wasn't really his thing...staying far away. He'd much rather be right up beside him.
Taking a jogging manner he went to catch up to him, a large smile on his face despite the fact they he would be volunteering to join Rishima in whatever crazy mission he was accepting. His hand went out to grab Rishima's shoulder, he knew better for this moment than to try and hug him with weapons and all being close by.
"Rishima!" He stated in his usual cheerful and familiar manner, he hadn't quite noticed the friend Rishima was with but...that wasn't quite thinking straight. Rather he had tunnel vision whenever it came to Rishima.

Jerarda : Warrior. Location: Supply tents / moving towards Antiope post 2 Frowning as she heard Antiope calling out for recruits she looked up and over Animah and pondered if she should join. Looking to Animah she didn't want to leave her, not now that she had found her, but at the same time she wanted to help the cause and sitting around was making her twitchy. Her hand went to run through the woman's white hair and she looked over to where Vollerei was obviously distracted with food stuffs or something else.
Giving a small smile she leaned into Animah a moment, "Stay safe alright? I think I am going to join Antiope and her mission." She murmured giving another hug and small kiss to her temple. Giving a wave to Vollerei as she stood up she went towards Antiope's voice. Noting that Rishima was there as well his stalker boyfriend.
Well, that answered his question. As soon as he had moved away from the growing bustle of the supply tent, Kauff heard the tail end of their leaders' announcement, which... directed him back to where he had just been. He couldn't help but notice that no one appeared to be checking for any actual skill with the blades and staves that were being handed out, nor had there been any mention that any was necessary in the announcement. He turned, bending to face Tafiir as if they were sharing a secret.
"Hey, kid. Tafiir. I think I might be able to sneak into battle with your dad's sword after all. If I'm good enough for it."
