Trinity frowned seeing Jet and Torch look smug about something. She just shrugged before finishing eating. Saph finished too and looked to her to get a nap. Trinity cradled him. Soon he would be too big for this. Jet smirked before saying to Shadow, "Look at how well she takes care of young ones. Such a good sign that she would make a good mother for your young." the bird type said right as Shadow started to eat. Torch laughed as he ate his food.

Shadow choked on his food from shock at that one as he turned bright-red, pounding on his chest slightly until it went down the right tube. He immediately turned and pinned Jet with a surprisingly intimidating glare and a twitching eye, the only thing keeping him from killing the overgrown pigeon on the spot the facts that he didn't want to disappoint Trinity and didn't want to set a bad example for the very impressionable Squirtle not five feet away from him... then again, he didn't necessarily have to do it in front of the little fellow...

...No, best not to risk it - while he was sure Trinity would understand if he explained the full circumstances, if Saph got curious and followed, he'd see his big brother figure causing a lot of blood and gore, and he didn't want to scar the little guy for life. Instead, he turned back to finish the last of his food, somehow managing to ignore the Spearow with Herculean effort.

Trinity almost got whiplash when she turned to look at the three when she felt a large killing intent. She saw Shadow glare at Jet before turning back to eat. She glared at Jet, Torch and Shadow, "You three are behaving, right? Saph is still an impressionable baby. Don't make me lock you in your Pokeballs." She warned to Torch and Jet. She wouldn't for Shadow but she wouldn't let him battle anytime soon. Saph was in her lap when he felt that aura. He almost was tearing up but held it in. "You not hurt Jet, Shady?" He said in his baby talk. He was working on talk better. Jet looked at the baby face before turned away. "Sorry about that, Shadow." He said grumbling as he ate. Torch also apologized. Trinity looked at Shadow, "Are they teasing you? I'm sure whatever they said isn't that bad." She said,

Shadow sighed softly and nodded to Jet and Torch, in the same motion both communicating that he accepted the apology and apologizing himself; he was good at communicating silently like that. He then turned to the other two, first looking at Saph gently. "No, I'm not going to hurt him. He just said something that didn't make me terribly happy with him, that's all." He then shifted his gaze to Trinity, adding bluntly, "And yes, it was that bad. Trust me, if you heard what Jet said, you'd probably be tempted to hurt him too. Well, either that or possibly faint from shock and/or embarrassment, not sure which." Seriously, while he was willing to admit he MIGHT have a LITTLE bit of a crush on Trinity, Jet's comment was waaay out of line, whether it was true or not. Heck, he was turning visibly pink himself just remembering the comment.

Saph calmed down then and settled in for a nap on Trinity's lap. Trinity though looked at Shadow curiously. "I really don't think there is anything that you could say that will cause that reaction." She said as she nibbled on a PokeBlock. It was also edible to humans, it was more of a weirdly flavored candy to them. She was just happy she picked the sweet one. She hated spicy things.

Trinity then said, "Well it can't be that bad as when my cousin caught her Gallade giving me a kiss. That was when I was 13 and my first kiss." She sighed then said, "Thankfully she didn't tell my parents." though that encounter as a pre-teen caused her to only be attracted by male Pokemon making her a Pokephilla, a human sexually attracted by Pokemon. Thankfully it isn't illegal anymore to not be in a relationship with Pokemon.

Shadow blinked and glanced over, checking to see if she was serious. Realizing that, yes, she was serious, he shrugged; if nothing else, she probably wouldn't get disgusted if he revealed the gist Jet's comment. "Jet's comment implied... well, let's just say the general idea was you, me, and quite a bit more than just kissing," he admitted reluctantly, glancing over discreetly to see her reaction to that and starting to blush again.

Trinity shrugged, "It's not like what my family says to me. They all figure I will fall for one of my Pokemon. It's not like you like me that way." She said honestly as she paid for the meal. She returned the others before looking at Shadow, "Ready to get more supplies from the PokeMart?" She asked him. Trinity did entertain the thought of thinking of them as a couple before burning it was fire and look at different Pokemon. She wouldn't mind having a Nidoking or Poliwrath as a boyfriend seeing as she was in Kanto maybe an Arcanine.

Shadow neither confirmed nor denied her little assumption, instead just nodding to the Pokémart plan and secretly trying to ignore the fact that he'd basically just been friend-zoned by his crush... though he did have a sudden urge to maim a Nidoking, Poliwrath, and Arcanine...

Trinity walked in the mart and opened the door for Shadow before looking around the shop. Smiling, the trainer looked at the pokeballs though she figured she was ok for now. "What do you think we need?" She asked Shadow as she looked over the camping food section. She picked up the rope thinking she might need it.

Trinity raised an eyebrow at him, "So are you saying you aren't intelligent enough to give input?" She questioned as she grabbed repels and basic food packs. She walked and looked over the mart before purchasing the items. "Ok I think a little more training and then I can challenge the gym." She said to Shadow as she walked out of the city back on to the route they came in. Right after she said that, a male Nidoran appeared ready to attack. Smirking, Trinity let out Jet to face off him.

Trinity had Jet use fury attack. Jet cried as he did the attack but he got poisoned. Trinity gritted her teeth then returned Jet so he wouldn't be in pain. She let out Torch. She had him use Ember which had the Nidoran cry out. Quickly, Trinity threw a pokeball and the Nidoran was caught. Trinity ignored the newly caught Pokemon to let out Jet. She kneeled in front of him and used an antidote. She checked him over before returning him and Torch. Trinity let out the newly caught Pokemon to check him over. He was glaring at her untrusting. She offered him some pokeblocks to get his trust so she could look him over. The Nidoran sniffed before eating out of her hand. Softly, he nuzzled her hand. Smiling, Trinity said, "I think I'll call you Aster." the newly named Aster nuzzled her hand again being careful of his needles which had poison points. Trinity looked at Shadow, "So what do you think of him? I was thinking we needed a poison type." she said as she picked him up carefully. Aster looks at Shadow, curious but on guard.
