What a beautiful day to take a walk. Going along the shopping district and window shopping would be fun, but Zuri has to save up on money and she does not want to be tempted to buy something that she doesn't have the money for. Sure its not expensive like some of the items in Lumiere, but she did want to make sure she doesn't spend all or most of her money within a day. Besides, taking a walk on this sunny day away from the crowd can be just as fun as window shopping. Maybe she can catch up on some martial arts training. She has nothing better to do before going to Mickey C's for work and nobody was around for the time being so she didn't need to be concerned about hurting someone. Something caught her eye before she made a decision on whether or not to work on her martial arts training: a ladybug. Kneeling down on the ground, she set her finger beside the lady bug and allowed it to crawl on her finger. A childish smile appeared on her face as she stood up from the ground and watched the ladybug move about on her finger before it flew away. From her backpack she took out a pen and a notepad to write down her meeting of the lady bug. She put the notepad and pen back into her backpack before setting the backpack down, took a few deep breathes before assuming a stance and began practicing a variety of different punches and kicks since she was still alone for the time being and needed something to do before going to work.

Vellan walked down the walkway of Cerise. He wore the same attire he usually did and his swords were loosely strapped to his back, swaying and bouncing off it. Vellan wasn't quite sure what made him take this way, but he assumed that it was to get a better feel of his new home. He had met two people the other day and they seemed very nice. Without realizing it he bumped into a female in front of him.
Stumbling backwards he caught himself and started to float upwards so that way he didn't fall on his butt. "Ah, I'm terribly sorry madam."

Zuri was ten minutes into her martial arts workout routine before she turned around and ended up bumping into a stranger. Since she was moving with some momentum and was caught off guard, she was knocked back but recovered by performing a backflip. Normally she assume a stance but she felt no danger coming from the stranger so she stood normally and...watched as the man float? Now this is a curious stranger. Is he human or non-human? Since he can float, what other abilities does this stranger possess? Questions like this ran through her mind but she had to respond to his apology. Besides, these questions weren't that important for her to know the answers to. In response to his apology, she said to him,
"No need to apologize. Neither of us were hurt so theres nothing to cry over. I...I'm just glad you weren't coming while is in the middle of a spin kick or something like that..."

Vellan watched the woman back flip into safety as he landed a few feet from her. She was staring at him questions in her eyes before she registered there was a time and place for them. Nodding he listened to her speak and smiled softly. "A spin kick, may it's been a minute since I've done one of those." Setting his swords next to him and rolling up his sleeves he took a very similar stance that she used and took several deep breathes. Making sure no one was around he did one spin kick before going into another one, closing the distance between them a little bit. "Do you mind if I join? I have to train you see, it's been hard-wired a little bit."
Another friendly smile graced his face as he looked at the woman in front of him. Vellan blinked once or twice then put his face into his hands shaking his head. "I'm terribly sorry madam, my name is Vellan. I should have introduced myself before asking if I could join." Letting his arms drop she would be able to see lots of pale white scars on his forearms.

Zuri kept her distance as she watched the stranger perform an excellent spin kick. His form was very similar to her own; perhaps they practice the same style of martial arts. That seems to be unlikely but she did witness him taking the stance and perform the spin kick. She even had the privilege of seeing him do it again, this time slightly closing the distance between the two of them. He then asked her if he could join her training session. That is an unusual request since no one has ever asked if she could train alongside her, but according to him, this is something he has to do because its hard-wired into him. Then the stranger felt bad for not introducing himself to her, and from there she learned that his name is Vellan. Her eyes did not fail to see the white scars on his forearms when his arms dropped after he apologized and introduced himself. She didn't think much of it because those scars could have been the result of training or something else entirely. Either way, those scars happened in the past and its not her place to ask questions of the past lest he wants to talk about it. Since he was kind enough to introduce himself, Zuri figured it was only proper to do the same.
"...Zuri...My name is Zuri. And if you need to train so much, then you are welcomed to join me."

Another friendly smile graced his face as Zuri said he could join her. Walking over to his swords he picked them up and moved them so they were in a more secure location. Undoing his tie a little bit he pulled at it so it wasn't so tight around his neck. "This'll be fun, it's been a bit since I've trained with someone else that's alive." Turning towards her he smiled again and walked back towards her.
Stopping a little short he took a relaxed stance with palms up and open. The smile was still there however it didn't reach his eyes. They were already studying his opponent whether this was training or not, he would be ready. Although he did have to keep mentally telling himself that this was just training and the woman had no intention of hurting him.

Zuri watched Vellan moved his swords and made himself comfortable so that their training session will begin. Well, its more of a spar session than an actual lesson taking place here, but they could learn from each other so it can be considered training as well if they pay attention. She can't be the best martial artist in the world, but perhaps she can teach him a few things during their fight. Once he was in a fight stance and looking towards her, she can feel the intensity just from his eyes that did not match the smile on his lips. He is definitely an experienced warrior so this should be an amazing learning experience. No smile formed on her lips as she took her own fighting stance with elbows up and knees bent, but she did replicate that intense look in her eyes. She would remain in this stance for about ten seconds before she made the first move: a straightforward kick to his gut. This was not meant to make contact since it was too easy for him to dodge, but she wanted to see how he fought so she can know what to do.

The smile on Vellan's face disappeared when she gave him back an intense look. "Good she's serious about this as well." He thought as Zuri made the first move. Stepping back he brought his hand down blocking her kick. Pushing her back hoping to unbalance her, he dropped lower and went to sweep her legs out from underneath her.

Zuri had to allow her kick to be brought down by his chop as well as getting pushed and swept to begin her assessment of his skill. That counterattack of his consisted of three things: deflection, unbalancing and disabling. Although she was falling to the ground, she decided to take this opportunity to surprise Vellan with an attack of her. Instead of landing on the ground on her back, she landed on her hands and pushed off to kick him with both of her feet straight to his chin. Whether she missed or not, she curled up and spun around a few times before landing behind and trying to hard sweep him.

Vellan took the full force of her upper kick, his head snapping back as he was lifted a bit off the ground her sweep going underneath him. Shaking his head he recovered and went with the momentum doing his own flip. Landing a couple feet away he smiled rubbing his chin. Taking a few deep breathes he shook his head once more before dashing in towards her. Grabbing her leg he started another flip using his own momentum to help flip her over his head.

Zuri's sweep failed due to the force of her own kick. Huh, usually she isn't so off about the strength of her punches and kicks. That's something that she should make a note of after the sparring has ended. Since the sweep failed, she got up and turned around quick to see what he intended to do, but she failed spot him when dashed toward because she was looking too high. The only time she saw him was when she felt a hand grab her leg and threw her over him, heading towards a wall. Perfect! With one flip her legs were heading toward the wall instead of her head. At the moment of impact, the wall cracked a bit before she pushed off and she attempted a corkscrew punch at Vellan.

Walking threw the street's, Shinzo was making his way to work. A new order of books where coming in so he would have to go threw the boxes to make sure that all the books he ordered came in. He wasn't going to stay there long. Just check to make sure the books came in and that they are put away right. He also needed to get the last of his paper work done, a normal day for the Kitsune. He carried his briefcase along side him with the paper work he finished up on at home. He glanced up slightly at the sky as his mind drifted off for a few seconds as he thought about how he was now here on this island and working somewhere other then the shrine. He lived all his life in japan in that shrine. He never thought he would leave the Shrine but he did and now he was living a new life he never thought he live.

Lyra walked around the shopping center in awe. She simply loved the place. The neko wish she had the money to buy the stuff here, but she was on a budget. She really needed to find a job soon, otherwise she would be broke very soon. Lyra decided she would dilly dally for today and start her job hunt tomorrow. She had a good degree at hand, so she figured it wouldn't be too hard to find a job.
For now, Lyra decided to window shop. She peered in awe into every single shop window. Window shopping was very fun. As she walked around she noticed a book shop. Even though she wasn't going to buy anything, she couldn't and wouldn't resist the urge to by a couple books. Making a sharp turn, she head towards the book shop. Only to collide head on into something/someone.

Just moment's after Shinzo snapped out of his thought's and looked away from the sky a girl bumped right into him, making him drop his briefcase and making all of his paper work fly all over the street. The tall man just stood there, looking down at his briefcase and paper work all over the street. He just had this blank, cold, lifeless face on him. His paper work... His clean, sorted out paper work was no no longer clean and now scrambled. This was on thing that really bugged Shinzo, when something of his is clean and sorted to become un-sorted and un-clean. Closing his eyes the tall man fixed his glasses before bending over and started to pick up his paper work.
