nio love Olivia didn't quite catch the tone of his voice but nodded vigorously, agreeing completely with how nice it was for Andrew to work with her. (She felt proud of herself as well, look at how well she was doing! All day long at the booth and near fire and not a whole lot of flinching! Progress!) Silently, she watched as he participated in their little game once more - there might have been a long look at Andrew to allow him to do just that without getting attacked again or cheat and make Gabby lose (that would just be mean!). And was very happy for his success, even with the near miss that so many others had tip toed towards. The wight would be the one to give him his prize, just to make sure he did actually get it. His parting words and gesture gained him a curious look. His meaning was unclear and she had the vague notion she had heard such a statement from someone else as well. Weird. What did it exactly mean? How could someone be too good for someone? Everyone was good for everyone! "Thank you?" Really, with a lack of anything better to say. "Thank you for playing!" She told the ghost as he made his way out, "And for not fighting anymore!"Smerdle "You got it in the end," Olivia chirped happily as she held out the booth prize to the boil. Shiki headed back to the candle and ice booth again. He smiled a little shyly and tried his best.
Oops he put them way too far apart and failed completely. Looking mildly ashamed he walked away from the booth.

Lou hovered her ice cube high over the candle, it still wouldn't steam. She could sense the ghouls running the booth's growing frustration with her. She decided her only option was to try harder.

Her ice cube was getting melty and dripping on the candle again, Lou tired to hold it closer, but her fear of the flame held her back just a little. Wait, was that a tiny bit of steam she saw? She wasn't sure, but her efforts seemed good enough for the ghouls in charge.

Tanvir... Really didn't get how a candle and cube of ice could be friends, but he shoved that thought aside and took the challenge when he came up to the booth. Why not?
Apparently he didn't do things correctly, and while the ice didn't melt there was certainly no steam.
He quietly put the ice into the tray with the others, mildly confused by the look the ghoul shot at him.
Okay, then. He was just... Leaving.

Fire and Ice as friends?
Well, Ignatius was willing to give it a shot. Happily taking the ice cube, he placed it in the pliers and lowered it to the candle, waiting to see if he could make it create the mystical steam that the fire demon and the undead were looking for. If anyone could do it, he could, obviously.
Except he couldn't.
The undead ghoul looked very unhappy with him, suddenly, and Ignatius felt a bit distressed, putting the ice cube down. He couldn't have people unhappy with him! Had he played the game that incorrectly? Surely, he could have done better than that ... He knew he could. He was awesome and most definitely not a loser, even when it came to the impossible. "I'll try again later," offered Ignatius, begrudgingly, heading off.

Elda-Kun There was that familiar look on the other ghouls face but Olivia gave her a reassuring smile, "Its okay, fire scares me too a little but I've been getting much better so I can be better friends with Andrew!" Lou probably didn't need to learn all of that but still, it was a little statement of pride after all for the wight. But yes, those efforts were enough for one of their booth prizes and Olivia happily handed one over.

Andrew sat around looking more grumpy than usual after Gabby left. He did not like the boil nor his habit of antagonizing him with things like throwing water balloons. Andrew would return fire one day. That day was just not today, in front of Olivia. Elda-Kun Olivia's charming words did lighten his mood just a little. The flame demon waved at the ghoul at the mention of his name. Yep he was on fire. Literally on fire. Come be friends with him.... or how about not. His grumpy face alone might be enough to off put the ghoul. Still he tried to be half way friendly, as friendly as an already irritable flame demon sitting next to a cold ghoul could be anyway.

Yes, it was his last chance, and by some miracle, Ryou managed to pull through and though he did not get anywhere close enough to make steam, he did make ice cube melt a bit which was a vast improvement from whateverh he was doing before.

Alright, time to try this fire and ice thing again. He would not be so easily defeated!
Steam was totally possible between fire and ice, right? After all, steam was just heated water ... or something like that, he wasn't a water elemental alright? It wasn't his job to know these things, though perhaps he should. It would give him more ammo in the argument that lightning was indeed the best of the elements...
Oh, right. Game. Right. Ignatius lifted up the pliers containing the ice in their grasp and attempted to put it a bit closer to the candle this time.
He actually got incredibly close to steam, and could have swore, for a moment, he saw a small puff of it ...
Though maybe that was just a drop.
Still, the water didn't put the fire out, and the fire demon seemed to think that was close enough. Another mini!
