Wiglging off the black mask, mili slumped down against on the beams. There was a surplus ofpeople scampering around the railstation. All of them seemed so charged with energy. Mili just felt... Destroyed. Fatigued to the point of no return. It was as if something vital had been siphoned off, never to be found again.

In one hand was the black box of a radio. She had sent a message before, but Odette hadn't responded. Frowning, she nibbled her lower lip and sighed. Maybe her radio was busted? There was only one chance.

      As the yellowblood hadn't wanted her radio to interrupt her "preaching" or whatever, Vremea had turned it off, having completely forgotten about the situation her team was in. She turned it on, only to hear the last few taps-- "...MISS YOU. I'M SO TIRED AND I JUST WANT A FRIEND. VRE... YELLOW YAK PLEASE RESPOND." She decoded, and tears sprung in her eyes, unable to clean them off due to her mask. She slid it to the top of her head blubbering like an idiot and sniffling. "I-I am so sorry I have not responded in a while, team..." She said into the radio, feeling horrible she left them like that, "This is Yellow Yak. Could I have information on each of your whereabouts? I did not get the chance to hear your complete message, Teal Owl. I am really sorry about not keeping in contact..."

Odette was pleased to hear those beeps coming from the other end of the radio, knowing Mili was alive. Though, she couldn't tell if she was safe, or in distress, or most importantly where she was. "Yellow Yak and Teal Owl, I am safe, but have not stayed in one place for a very long time! Yellow Yak, please send either of your coordinates for me to find! Sorry for not understanding your message, Teal Owl." She bit her lip, maybe it was better to stay in one place until she found her friends. No, she couldn't. It wasn't safe.

Odette kept searching for her friends, covering old bases that she thought they may have returned to. She returned to their first base, the rail station. She was shocked to find it heavily fortified by guards, but she took it as a good sign. She searched the premises carefully.

She found Milieu inside, talking to some recruits. "Mili!" She called to her, and rushed over to give her a big hug. "Mili, I'm so glad you're safe. And you've gotten so much done since I've been gone!" She said, beaming with pride for her friends.

"I know I should stay longer, but I need to keep looking for Vremmy." She said sadly. "Good luck with the fortifications, I'll be back as soon as I can!"

Odette uncovered a Royal base. No chance of Vremea being there. Well, that's what Odette hoped.

Odette swooped in on city hall, with more supplies and troops. It was a good spot for the rebels to keep as a base, as the royal's power was useless without the direction of city hall! Then again, they probably could just build a new city hall...

DAILY REFRESH!


It's a new day! A push by the royalists, inspired by Captain Puchen, has caused a significant power shift. The undermined rebellion will not stand for this. A last push of desperation has spurred the rebellion to fight, and fight hard.


Today's Happenstance(s):

Phoenix Warcry applies to Rebel Troops today only and is based off of the mule's D6 roll:
1: Gain 1 additional action per troll, and 1 additional action per extra page.
2: Add 1D6 to all construction rolls
3: Add 1D6 to all demolition rolls
4: Add 1D6 to all recruiting rolls
5: Pick any coordinate on the map to unlock. This effect can be used once per page.
6: You can mobilize troops from one friendly coordinate to two coordinates (friendly or enemy) at once with one action.
(The effect that your team receives will be rolled in this post, and only affects the team that this thread belongs to. Royalists will not receive a buff; yesterday's warcry has worn off.)

Members of the Royalist and Rebel Teams can roll 1D6 once every hour in the Coastal Base or the Wooded Sanctuary thread to assist the wounded in the medical bay. The corresponding number will subtract from the number of wounded, and at 0 this effect will go away. If a 6 is rolled, you receive an extra action for use in your team thread. These posts must be accompanied by RP text.

Each troll is refreshed and ready to go with 2 available actions.

ALSO: Trolls rolling for the journeytroll intelligence effect are welcome to roll up to 20D6 so as to not spam their threads.

REMINDER: The last official day of the Territory Game will be on Sunday. Come Monday's refresh, the mechanics of the game will cease as the scores are tallied, the threads are reviewed, and we prepare for the final phase of the meta. You will still be welcome to RP in the team threads, but please plan your actions accordingly!


Refreshers:
POSSIBLE ACTIONS ARE:

Build: Roll 1D6 to build on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the durability of the base. You can also build on friendly bases to add durability, up to a maximum of 30 durability. You cannot build on a coordinate that already has an enemy base on it.
Trolls with training in Construction get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Rally: Roll 1D6 to organize defenders, which can be assigned to any coordinate you have unlocked. The roll result determines the amount of defenders you have rallied. Defenders will be on stand-by until you mobilize them. Defenders are the second level of defense that can be assigned to protect a base. You must use defenders to take out defenders if you want to demolish an enemy base!
Trolls with training in Recruiting get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Demolish:
Roll 1D6 to destroy a base on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the amount of damage done to the durability of the base. At 0 durability, the base is destroyed. You cannot demolish a base with defenders assigned to it.
Trolls with training in Demolition get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Intelligence: Roll a new coordinate (2D6). If you roll a coordinate you have already unlocked, the roll is wasted.
Trolls with training in Intelligence get a bonus to their rolls:
Apprentice: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6)
Journeytroll: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6); if at least 1 of the coordinates is not unique, re-roll. Each re-roll will increase in numbers by 2D6. So, if you don't find a coordinate on your first 2D6 roll, roll 2D6 again. If there are no unique numbers, roll 4D6. Then 6D6, etc. The FIRST unique coordinate unlocked will be considered the new coordinate. So: Bobbie rolled 4D6 and got 2,2, 5,5 and both sets of coordinates are unique. She ONLY unlocks [2,2].
Master: Journeytroll effect OR select one new coordinate from another team and unlock it. You must post with roleplay in your own thread and the other team’s thread for this to take effect.
Grandmaster: Journeytroll effect OR Master effect OR… Roll 1 coordinate (2D6). If your allies control the coordinate rolled: add 5 durability and 5 defenders to that coordinate (may surpass the maximum durability/defender limit by 5). If your opponents control the coordinate rolled: it loses 5 durability and 5 recruits (does not apply if the numbers would decrease past 0). You additionally unlock the coordinate.


Mobilize: Choose one of two options:
1. Send defenders from your stand-by or a friendly-base you control to any friendly-base on a coordinate that you have unlocked.
2. Assault an enemy-controlled coordinate that you have unlocked using defenders from a friendly base. Defenders must be deployed to a base before they can assault an enemy base and cannot attack directly from your standby.

They're both alive and safe. Milieu felt so much relief knowing that. Tears sprung in her yes as Odette and her hugged. It was a brief meeting, but that was the way of war. Nodding, she waved goodbye and continued with what was going to be a rough day.

They had lost so much land yesterday. Sighing, Mili relaxed against the ground. It was going to be very tough.

An older troll came near her and handed Mili a belt of tools. "Here, from the Innitiative!" Surprised, Mili put the belt on herself and nodded. This would help.

Odette flew in to check on the Beachfront wastes. They looked like they were holding up fine, but if Odette knew anything it was that any base could use more defense.

Odette rummaged through the power grid, tearing out all of the important cords. The power blinked off and she gave a tiny smile, proud of her work. But people were panicking inside, and she didn't have a proper way out of the building. Oh, there just had to be a way to sneak out... This was not a very good base to be stuck in.

Odette rushed to respond to rebels attacking the Daylight Mall. Just as she arrived, she discovered that the mall was empty. She got to work building a new base, somewhat confident after today's pep speech. She was optimistic on the new fort, until she decided it was finished enough. She gave it a once-over and discovered that the base was completely unstable and lopsided. Odette was terribly upset at the product of her hard work, so she sat inside her new fort and rested.

      Oh thank troll Jegus! Vremea's heart leapt when she heard her friends words and almost told her where she was before she realized she was near a royalist base. She needed to move.

      Riiight after she converted a few of them to rebels, if possible.

      And she did. After she told them where to go, Vremea couldn't stop herself from smiling and kept searching for more people to help out.

Odette was at a loss for what to do. Her fighting at this point seemed hopeless. All she wanted was to find her friends and go home. The only good thing that came out of this fighting was her new friends. And even then she wasn't entirely sure her friends would come out of the fighting. It made her sick to think of it, so she kept pressing on. Just like she had done this whole time.

Her new friends though— they were something. Ganyma and Milieu were two of the greatest trolls she had met. They always had a way to find one another and do their best to help out. They were good. Odette could learn a lot from them. She tugged on the sleeves of her backpack. She felt the masks from the theatre still sitting at the bottom of her bag, and swanmom was in there, too. The lusus stretched her neck and rested her head on Odette's shoulder. Odette took out her radio, and listened in to the news.

According to the rebel waves, Team Just Vigilance was moving to Aiguma Theatre. Odette was pleased to hear this, knowing that she would be good use to them with her knowledge on the base. She took out her walkie-talkie to respond to the fellow rebel team. "Just Vigilance? This is Red Swan! I heard you are moving to Aiguma Theatre and I have lots of information that may be useful to you. I will meet up with you there." She clicked off the walkie-talkie and pet her lusus' head. She thought that maybe when she met Ganyma again, she could give him his mask back? She smiled at the idea. She hoped he would like it!

As he was sitting around base, he found himself wandering to one of the teams he'd interacted closely with several times. Deciding to actually check in with one of them Stryke took up his radio, giving pause before mashing the button down. "Evening Total Spies! How goes your side of things? Yea, Green-Fire and Teal-Construction are over down by the Theatre right now, not sure how well that's going down just yet. I'm back at City Hall right now." Stryke mused thoughtfully, feeling safe for revealing the location to them. "I can tell you the base has likely been decimated by now, so be careful. This is Double 'O'. Over." He let go of the button, legs swinging no where near close to touching the ground.

It wasn't so much boredom, as attentive concern for those he'd begun to friend. The nagging urge was all to real, and had him checking these frequencies. It helped he had heard some one contacting them first resulting in his quick response back. Hearing the troll had more intel about the location was always promising, it could prove helpful if she was heading down to join them for the time being.
