Jake couldn't allow his leg to get injured much further. His whole offense, besides the deadly Crossface Chicken Wing, were all dependent on his legs being in stable condition. Desperately, the Kid would try to roll on his back and kick Aiden off of him with his other leg to avoid any more harm done. The fact that Roman allowed his leg to get to this point was bad enough, but he was afraid that any more damage done would be the final nail in the coffin for him.

Most likely due to having to drag Jake over to the ropes as opposed to the ropes being conveniently there from the get-go, Jake was able to scout Aiden. Before Aiden even had a chance to put Jake's leg onto the bottom rope, He was being kicked by Jake's other leg against his forearm. Varied shots from the toe of Jake's boot, all the way to more bruising kicks from the heel. Giving up on the maneuver after realizing he wouldn't be able to lock it in, Aiden shoved Jake's legs to the ground in a fit and shook his forearm. Walking away from Jake momentarily to check on his forearm as if it were hurt more than it was.

In fear of getting caught on his stomach again, Jake had to quickly roll to the ropes to pull himself off of his back. But the rolling aspect of his transition to the side of the ring would be his quickest movements. Roman had to grab the middle rope and pull himself up on one leg, in which he had to clench onto the ropes and climb up them with pure upper body strength just to get on his feet. He would then hobble towards the corner and turn Aiden's direction in agony and exhaustion. This match was within his limits, but for how much longer would it be?

Seeing no point to furthermore shake his forearm to put any feeling back into it, Aiden determined it was fine already. It was just the kicks striking a nerve that threw his pain tolerance out of whack momentarily. Turning around to see Jake stumbling to his feet and using the ropes as leverage, Aiden took the moment to kick his feet out a bit, one after the other, to also get some blood flowing to them as well. It didn't seem as if Jake was in a real hurry to attack anytime soon, so Aiden felt like he could afford to slack off for a minute. Rolling his neck and popping it in two places, he felt mildly better. Deciding upon a quick thought maneuver, Aiden would see just how Jake would react as he went to a try a quick running clothesline to take Jake out over the top rope.

Jake being tripped up so non-chalantly by Aiden caused the crowd to boo, as the back-and-forth action would have to be delayed. Roman fell flat on his back and tumbled out of the ring from the impactful clothesline. If Aiden wasn't going to give him the chance to rise because of how much time it took Roman to get up, then he had no choice but stand himself up on the cushion of sand outside the ring after Covell's forceful ways.

Withthe clothesline connecting, Aiden saw just how fast Jake dropped on his back. The sight of it was nice, but of course it wasn't enough to please him. Smartly, Jake had rolled out of the ring and would collect himself most likely to find a moment to stand. Aiden, still in the middle of the ring, would wait for Jake to stand before he would determine which route he was going to take with an outside dive. Whether it was something flashy or simplistic, it would all depend on Jake's stance or how he would set himself up outside the ring once stood.

Jake had pulled himself up with help of the corner of the barricade, where it had a ninety-degree angle to separate the ramp's walkway from the steps. He had his back turned towards Aiden, but coincidentally stumbled to the center of the ramp's end before his eyes had met with Covell's movements. Roman had to get back into the competition of this match, not giving the high-flyer opportunities to showcase what he was capable of. Otherwise, Jake would not only eat some sand and the canvas in the process, but five weeks of wasted effort thanks to the sting of defeat.

Keeping his eyes on Jake as the guy stirred about and struggled to get up, Aiden was mentally pacing. Aiden was growing impatient and almost had a mind to go outside the ring and pick Jake up himself, but didn't. Instead, he kept waiting until the opportunity finally arose for him to strike. Running o the opposite side of the ring, Aiden would ricochet and run forward. Right before he would get to the other side of the ring, he would lean down and look to try to dive through the ropes to knock Jake down again. Such a move that was truly a fifty-fifty percentage chance that it would work.

The suicide dive was a gutsy move, indeed. The prototypical dive to the outside was one under the top rope that would crash into Jake's chest and shoulders, sending him back down to the sand. Once Aiden sent his body through the ropes, Jake needed to interrupt Aiden's offense and not fall victim to his speed time and time again. Thus, Jake went for a gutsy attempt of his own: looking to time Covell's head going through the ropes by meeting him with a hard elbow thrown like a hook at the side of his face.

Truly a gutsy move that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, this time was definitely not one of Aiden's good times. The amount of timing that went into the move was well scouted, but the execution and underestimation of Jake's offense was what nixed him. True to the move, Aiden did perform a dive through the ropes, but didn't find himself crashing into Jake's chest or knocking the powerhouse down. As a matter of fact, Jake had scouted Aiden just as well it seemed. An elbow drove home into the side of Aiden's head, close to his temple, and caused the aerialist to hit the dirt fast. Well, in this case, sand. A face full of it even and a once progressively bad headache, now becoming a full blown migraine. Aiden was spitting out sand while trying to wipe a remainder of it off his face. But the sweat on his skin and the sunscreen itself did a number by helping to sand to stick to his face and embed itself well. Clearly, this was a huge disadvantage.

The Kid was thankful he didn't get run over by Covell's lethal attempt of a hit-and-run. Jake put his palms on his knees for a moment before shaking off the stinger in his elbow from it's head on collision with Aiden's head. It was only after that moment that he would try to bring Covell to his feet and roll him into the ring to end this once and for all.

Still continuing to wipe as much sand off his face as he can, there wasn't much luck in doing so. The sand collected on his gloves simply kept wiping more sand on his face. At least the sand that would come off wouldn't flake and blow into his eyes. It was more or less sand that made his face look quite dirty and displayed a sure fire battle in the sand. That much was a fact. Feeling himself being picked up, Aiden showed no resistance into being rolled into the ring. It was a much better place to be than the sand. That much was for certain.

He had smelt the aroma of victory near his lips, and the taste of sweet glory had been right in front of his face. Once he could roll Aiden into the ring, Jake had total tunnel-vision. It was the move that won them their first encounter, and it would be the won that decided their last. Seeing Covell lay on his stomach, Roman stood in front of his adversary's head. It was time for Aiden to go on his merry way and train with AJ before he even thought of messing with the Kid again. Jake hooked Aiden's arms behind his back and went to raise him to his knes before going to lift him in the air to plant him on his head and put the final nail in his coffin with the Empire Strikes Back!

Tired. Exhausted. Dazed. Aiden hadn't really found much use in trying to decide upon any further high caliber moves. Something wasn't sitting well in his head with the fact that his judgement and overall strength output was being affected by his migraine and painful soreness throughout his limbs. Mainly his head which had progressively effected his balance and easily his ability to do any top rope maneuvers. Aiden had felt himself being picked up by Jake and placed in a predicament where he had seen the world upside down. A sight that he had remembered twice now and one that he hated ever since. Knowing what was going to happen, Aiden tried to kick his legs somehow, but to no avail. Dropped flat on his head was Aiden who's body simply crumbled lifelessly in a unmoving heap and simply laid there under the impression that he wasn't going to be able to fight off what was coming next.

For the crowd, it was bittersweet. Watching Jake Roman plow Aiden's head into the canvas with his finishing touches meant that everybody got to see the baby-face emerge victorious after five weeks of Hell, but they really didn't want this match to end. The amount of effort these two had put into solidifying themselves as the next top dog was phenomenal. But it would be Covell's head driven into the mat by the unforgiving double underhook piledriver. However, a moment of hesitation before the pinfall attempt would take place after his left leg suffered a stringer once more from recent Lock Downs and Aiden careful calculating the leg. After a couple seconds of trying to awkwardly (yet hurriedly) crawl towards Aiden's side while holding his thigh, Jake would emphatically hook the leg of his opponent.
