Dryk looked down at his feet when he was told to grow a backbone, a bit shamed. "Sorry, I just don't want to burden anyone." Looking up again, he added "I'm not so much intimidated by you, it's just that my stats are a bit to low for me to feel like I can get by on my own, so I'm a bit in need of someone to help me out."--he laughed a bit, and jokingly continued in a bit of a joking tone--"Heck, it doesn't even look like my stats are high enough to take on a bunny-rabbit in a one-on-one fight."
When the guy who looked like he was better set for a close-quarters fight finally chimed up--Dryk listened. "I wasn't really planning on leaving when I had everything I needed... just when I felt I had over stayed my welcome..."
The guy said something about him stealing or killing them in there sleep, Dryk immediately raised his hands in front of him in a bit of a defensive and shocked way. "Whoa! No. Never, like I said, I pretty much rely entirely on you guys helping me out. It wouldn't exactly put me in a good position if I killed you two off. That and I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I did something like that after someone helped me out."
When the question of whether Dryk thought the girl was attractive or not, he became rather flustered. Face beginning to turn red, he tried to say something, but the words failed to come out properly. "I--uh... w-well..."

Blogger Name: 342434 Player Name: Dima Player's Class: Archer Special Skill: "Demon's Death Strike" ➳ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ⊙ Dima rolled her eyes at Magnus's final comment and she said, "It's an avatar. And, I'm not YuiKaida-" she said referring to another blogger who had gained a mostly male following due to the fact she wasn't camera shy and she was decent at gaming and did know games well enough "-her thing is to rely on looks and being the hot gamer girl. And, honestly if that cow puts a bounty on my head this game like she did last big VRMMO release..."
She shook her head rolling her eyes and said, "I forget exactly what she was so mad about. Anyways..." She pulled up the invite to the team for Dryk and said, "It's up to you whether to join on or not. Like I said alchemists are useful in a group. And, honestly, we all start out with the same base number of stats they are just rearranged differently depending on class. MMOs are essentially fair to begin with-we all start the same no matter what class we're in, you just need to learn to use your class to your advantage. Anyways, we don't bite and as long as you are confident enough to trust Magnus's judgement you won't hold us back." Honestly, she had a feeling she was more of the one to make tactical decisions, but it looked a lot better if Magnus was leading. Glancing back at Magnus, she added, "I guess, we go back to leveling verses gathering. I'm sure whenever we go back in town I can find my trader for what we do want to sell for profit. Maybe we'll luck out and he'll tell us what he plans to monopolize on the market this game."➳⊙ ⊕

((OOC: Okay sooo... I have a bit of news in regards to the RP... >~> It's pretty much official that I will be moving to my dad's place out to the countryside in just 2 weeks... But because my desktop is too big, my laptop is broken, and my phone can't get a connection (for GaiaOnTheGo) on the property it's looking like I have to effectively drop out of the RP... o~o It could be upwards of a month before I can either get a tiny house on the property to properly move into or get my laptop fixed... sad However, I'll at least try to see if I can't make my posts here any time I'm at work as I've applied for a transfer to a Dollar General out there that needs people more than mine and I get full bars in town. So, maybe I'll be able to post when I get off of work if I'm lucky.
Long story short, moving out to countryside with dad, no reliable computer/internet access to post in the RP, might or might not be able to post after work.))

✮ Rogue ✮ ✮People will betray others... She walked down the streets to look for the items, in order to get cooking skills. Lisa check the list of items she needs to complete the quest, looks like she needs to check on her inventory, she only have wolf pelt, fur, and fangs. Once she's outside of town, she will use her keen sight to look for wild boar, if she remember correctly, she needs to use the bait of poison to paralyze it. She likes that idea, so she picked the baits and place one of paralyze effect on it and set it to the ground. She quickly hides in the shadow to wait for a boar, then strikes it out. ... REND THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ Rend decided to hang back and study his magic menu for a minute or two longer. Moving to a place where he guessed that there would be no monsters, he opened his menu and took a look. It appeared that spellcasters in this system had two options. One was to put together < > on the fly by selecting certain variables (elements, area, range, etc.), which his menu listed. It was simple, but would get the job done. It also seemed like it was slightly cheaper in terms of MP due to the potentially longer casting time.
The second option was to use proper spells that he knew and would learn, known as <> Though they were not as flexible as the variable-based spells, they were easier to cast. It was much like the difference between normal attacks and Sword Skills. It seemed that they would also have unique effects that few improvised spells could imitate, such as utility effects. He hoped that he would be able to teleport at some point. The spells that he had selected to begin with were mostly typical fare. They included <> <> <> and <> A decent balance of support and offense. He didn't want to specialize too early, even if there was some way to "respec." He didn't want to do that any more than necessary.
As he closed his menu, he caught something out of the corner of his eye: a boar. It didn't seem to be paying him any mind, so he stepped back so as to avoid drawing aggro. It seemed to be going for something. "All right. It's finished already." He drew the short spear from his back and pointed it with one arm at the boar. He decided to begin with an improvised spell; a circle of light appeared around him and slowly shrunk towards him, marking his progress in casting. He designated the variables of the improvised spell, and his weapon began to crackle with electricity. He thought nothing of the fact that the boar wasn't moving very much.
However, as he was about to launch the spell, his target was suddenly defeated. Alarmed, he fired his spell into the air. It took him a moment to recover and see what had happened. "Hmm. Talk about stealing my thunder. Or would it have been the other way around?" He assumed that somebody had dealt the fatal blow, but he didn't see the hunter yet. Should've just cast <>
((So that's how I'm picturing the magic. Any objections? Questions? Comments?))
((Hiyo. If I misinterpreted anything on your end, I'll fix it. EDIT: Adjusted.))
((Sorry to hear about that stuff. Anyway, I hope things go well. Good luck.))

((To those in my scene, sorry for the lack of replies on my end. I've been marooned on an island in the Atlantic and I don't know how long before I get back.
All joking aside, my laptop got shipped to it's creator's depot for repairs and upgrades. I won't have it back for another two weeks or so. Unfortunately I can't post on my phone since I will need the battery power for this weekend - I was kidding about getting marooned but I was serious about the island - but! When I decompress and find an outlet by Monday or something I'll try and get a post out.
Love the people posting here and it'd be a shame to lose contact just because I went all scientific and researchy and whatnot.))

REND THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ Rend looked slightly disappointed, though not for the reason that one would expect. Get it? Stealing thunder? ...Come on, I was waiting for forever to use that one. He shook his head. "Nah, you had a trap set up first." His eyes went up and to the left, towards his HP and MP gauges. The lower one was slowly replenishing. "And my MP's starting to recharge anyway."He turned his head to look for other monsters. "Seen any others around? I need to kill a few to learn another spell."((Ah, I see. I'll adjust it a bit, since he wouldn't have seen her that way.))

REND THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ Rend nodded as she mentioned tracking. "I just wanted to know if you'd seen any around, but if you're looking for some anyway, sure."As she began tracking, he thought about some of her behavior. She had sighed and replied in a quiet monotone. That seemed a bit off to him. "...Look, did I do something to upset you? I'm really not upset about the boar, if that's what you're thinking." He spoke calmly and honestly, but sighed a little at the end in annoyance at himself.

Eutrepe Profile Skeleton Name- Dee Age- 17 Personality- A sucker for the dark hearted, but when it comes to battles, she is a force to be reckoned with Class- Warrior chef (I sure hope I can be two) Special Skill- finding food using primitive techniques Bio- Having been an outcast for a very long time, regardless of her royal background, Dee has chosen to do the bravest thing she has ever done. One day, when her parents were busy treating her sister like the favorite, Dee grabbed her sword, a few satchels, and journeyed out of the castle. She came upon an already open computer, abandoned, unaware that the user had already been sucked in previous to this, which she took to her advantage. She knew what was going to happen to her since she figured that nobody would be so stupid as to abandon a cool looking video game such as this, and was thereby sucked in as well. She made a note to herself to remind her to thank the person that granted her her freedom. She was unaware that the person whom granted this was the rudest person and the coldest one to ever have to know. Appearance- I have no picture available, sorry. If I find one, I will post it later. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wandering through the open wilderness, Dee felt for the first time that she was going to be able to prove herself. She could see a man in the distance, not knowing that it was Mordred, the man who gave her her freedom unknowingly. Racing up to him, she said, "Greetings! My name is Dee. Are you the one who left that computer terminal open? If so, I have to thank you. You granted me my freedom. Oh, and I hope I am not too bold in saying so, but you're cute too."

REND THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ The mage seemed skeptical, but didn't pry. "Okay, then." He followed her. "Black and white magic, huh? I always did like the Japanese RPGs." He looked over at the rogue, recognizing the Asian features. "Come to think of it... No, that would be awfully stereotypical of me. Forget about it." He shook his head. On the topic of race, he didn't seem Asian himself. He wondered what people from where were playing the game. It was amazing how MMOs could bring people together like that. He opened his magic menu again, allowing her to see it if she so wished. He gestured at < > and <> then at his weapon as he spoke. "It looks like we can use magic like that, but I don't think there's a 'white' or 'black mage' class. Specialization should be possible, but I guess I'm going kind of 'red' right now. Party or not, I should be good." He dismissed the menu with a nod.

REND THE MAGE _____________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ Rend looked up as if thinking about something. "Yeah. Amazing that they're still going strong, even though they're so old now. You don't see that with those old shooters or arenas. With or without VR, the best ones are like digital books or better." He wondered if there would be a good plot to this game. He followed her point and saw the monsters. He reached around and drew his weapon once more in anticipation. "Time for take two. Anyway, if you're still hunting, I'll get out of your hair..." His lip rose in a little half-smile of appreciation. "...but thanks. I owe you one."
