Finally! The ball hit the target with a satisfying crack and the wallist went down. Rikki threw his hands in the air and whooped excitedly. Yeah! He'd done that! He won the thing!

Lenore returned to the booth, determined to dunk the wallist at least a few more times. Picking up a ball, she threw it. Gotchya!The ball hit the mechanism, dumping Alec into the water. leon_a_darkangel Just letting you know that I successfully dunked Alec four times on page 5, not three. ;3

Silently congratulating herself, Lenore picked up another ball and threw it. The ball went wide, landing in the back of the booth.

Undeterred, the girl picked up another ball and chucked it. It made a glancing blow on the mechanism, but not hard enough to dunk the wallist.

Grabbing another ball, she threw it at the mechanism. She missed once more, the ball landing harmlessly in the grass.

Even so, the girl retrieved another ball and hurled it at the target. She missed again, and the ball went rolling behind the booth.
