"Sounds like fun to me. Plus, I could use some time to explore. The internal renovations in the Fridge are for a room of my own. I can show you it once we get back. Should be ready by then." Laguna said with a smile. She noticed Volt had given her a look of some kind...maybe she wasn't into her kind of fun. Laguna shrugged, figuring she'd ask later. She looked over at Xashowd. "Wanna come? I bet you could make 'em spin like tops." She said with a smile, hoping to brighten his sudden shift in mood.

Xashowd looked over at Laguna and nodded. He could do with some air time. He just hoped Volt wasn't still mad at him for...whatever she was mad at him for. He'd have to ask her later. "Sure, but I think I'll just watch you two have fun." He said. He wasn't exactly keen on tormenting guards, but he wanted Volt and Laguna to have fun together. If that's what they wanted to do, it was fine with him. As long as nobody got hurt, anyways.

(*pops in ooc* Did someone mention an elf? >w> Just thought I'd mention, Gypsy isn't actually connected to Leviathan per say. She has some knowledge of her due mostly to having a rather unpleasant encounter with her right before the grunny invasion. While interacting with Gypsy will very unlikely raise any attention from Leviathan, I can't say for sure what may or may not raise Daenes's attention. So now that I've made things clear as mud, let me just say . . . aw look at you all cute and kitty like~ emotion_kirakira )

"It's a pretty fancy fridge...Magitech, I think?" Laguna stated, looking over at Xashowd for confirmation. Any response was cut off by Volt once again grabbing Xashowd out of midair and grabbing Laguna, running off out the door. Laguna was so surprised by the sudden pull and near loss of balance that her Succubus Wings popped out to help steady her. As they were whisked out the door, she looked back and used her Water magic to close said door behind them, hoping there wasn't anything else Xashowd needed to do before they left.

As they picked up speed, Xashowd and Laguna had different reactions. Xashowd was used to high speeds, being a Vampire he could run at pretty high speeds, and with the aid of the wind he could go even faster. But his Feline Form wasn't used to such speeds yet, and he gripped Volt's arm as tightly as he could, trying his hardest not to get flung off. Laguna, on the other hand, took a few moments to adjust to the velocity. Her feet couldn't keep up, so she decided to glide on her wings, being pulled by Volt. Once she did, things got better, and she smiled as she enjoyed the sensation of the air beneath her wings.

Then they stopped at an ice cream cart, the somewhat sudden stop nearly sending them both flying. Laguna was lucky, as she sensed the large object due to the amount of liquid inside and just barely managed to prevent herself from flying headfirst into it, flapping her wings rapidly to slow herself down. Xashowd had been gripping Volt's arm, using his wind magic to ensure he wouldn't be flung off. He was more fortunate in that regard, though once they'd stopped he relaxed his grip somewhat, worried he might've caused Volt some discomfort.

Upon being asked if they wanted any ice cream, Laguna and Xashowd both perked up. Xashowd response was instantaneous. "Do they have any Watermelon flavored ones?" He inquired, his eyes sparkling at the thought of watermelon. Laguna checked her pants pockets, finding some spare cash in a back one...a lot of it, actually. She remembered that she had visited a casino during her travels, and had gotten a fair amount of money for her services. She figured she would need it, having been on the run and all. She perused the selections, and found a Blue Raspberry Ice Cream Cone, which she immediately purchased from the man tending the cart. She licked it enthusiastically, enjoying the sweet flavor and cool texture.

His excitement growing, Xashowd opened his feline mouth wide to grab the popsicle as Volt handed it to him, making sure not to bite through it. He hovered nearby on his little wings, using a little Wind Magic to grip the popsicle with the air molecules around him, preventing it from falling as he nommed on it. He was content as a...well, a kitten. He looked over at Laguna, noticing her enthusiastically licking her own ice cream...perhaps a little too enthusiastically, as she was getting a look from the man who tended to the cart. He would've been worried, but the only emotion he could feel was happiness as his favorite thing in the world was in his grasp.

Laguna noticed the man's stare with a sidelong glance. It wasn't uncommon for that to happen, being a Succubus meant that she naturally elicited such reactions from men, even when she didn't mean to. She remembered Lilith had explained it had something to do with pheromones. She just gave the man a sly wink and resumed eating her ice cream.

Xashowd noticed Volt's reaction. Concern for his friend outweighed his love of watermelon for that moment, and he stopped nomming long enough to get a question out. "Are you alright Volt? What's wrong?" He asked, worried about her.

Laguna noticed Volt's reaction as well, and sighed. Well, that answers my question. Volt's apparently not the bedroom type. She thought, eating her ice cream a bit more slowly due to her worry. She hoped her tendencies hadn't caused Xashowd's friend to suddenly dislike her...they'd been off to a pretty good start.

EDIT: *Rather fittingly, I heard an Ice Cream truck pass by my house just now. It was kinda funny, given the situation*

"Mmmmph!?" Xashowd exclaimed as the watermelon popsicle was pushed back into his mouth. His worry faded as the taste of watermelon reached his tongue again. He just resumed nomming on it, his mind focused upon the delectable treat. Meanwhile, Laguna chuckled at Xashowd's reaction. She had to admit, they did look rather cute together. Part of her had a bittersweet reaction to it, though. She wasn't sure if Xashowd was still hung up on losing his Fiance all those years ago, but it was something that had consumed him in the past. She thought Xashowd and Volt went well together, but he tended to avoid deep relationships with women, afraid that if he got too close, he would end up losing them. It was a shame, really...She pushed the thoughts away, putting on her best smile as she started devouring the cone itself, having finished off the ice cream.
