Angrily, she swung again. In her head, the flames of humiliation were right up there with the GO GO SWEETM00N WIN THE GAME EAT THE BIRD RAW YOU ARE THE LIGHTNING slogans that were beginning to pop up. It wasn't so much a competitive streak as it was a wide competitive smear. Thankfully, the fires of rage propelled her to actually hit one of the squires, who fell over with a small cry of pain. Whacking the flamingo's head against the side of her shoe a few times, she swung it back and forth, trying to get a feel for it before going again. The bird didn't appreciate any of that, and bent its head as it passed over the hedgehog, missing on purpose. That -did- get another scream out of sweetm00n. Swing right again immediately after, she didn't even bother to get into position. If her club was going to rebel against her, why bother. Her second large miss only incited her to get /angrier/. Which probably wasn't the best strategy. Taking a few deep breaths, calmed by her third hit, she struggled to regain control of her temper. Find your inner calm, her mother always told her. Sweetm00n secretly believed she didn't have any. When she was feeling a little more zen, or a little less purple in the face, she swung again. Amazingly, she connected, and downed her fourth and final squire. McCowboy was a fan of athletics, but croquet was one sport he never really played. He understood the basics of it well enough, and a simple game might be just the relaxation that he needed in this strange world. Of course, he wouldn't be able to relax until after he plucked a flamingo before they attacked him - because why would anything be so simple in this place with talking trees and violent furniture? He reached out to grab a flamingo and catch one - catching a normal and boring flamingo.
