Wen moved slowly to Balchas to get a better view at the other boy's wounded arm. It didn't seem horrible, but who knew what lived in a dragon's mouth. "You might want to get that cleaned," he said quietly, looking up at Balchas. "And maybe wrapped. At the very least, put pressure on it."

Idiots. He shook his head and work done, started to slip back where he had been.

Kaimi

The blue was... biting people! Kaimi frowned. She was not the heroic sort, and anyways, it would get her kicked off the sands if she attempted to intervene. Realistically, a hatching without some sort of injury was said to be pretty uncommon. She only hoped the mean little blue didn't fix its angry gaze on her. Getting bitten was certainly not her idea of a good time.

"Didn't think you were going to taunt them, just being low enough to doodle on the sand puts a lot of important body parts within biting distance." Jemi shrugged a shoulder, watching the blue go through the boys. "Welp, he got someone. Doesn't look to bad." Jemi shifted on her feet, snorting at the sand and rain, and general just displeased at the weather.

Balchas looked at Wen "Later, when the eggs have all hatched, i know a little bit, as long as it's only seeping i'll be fine but thanks" he said to the other candidate, grateful that the other would move out of line to try help him but Balchas would be fine, it didn't even hurt....much.

He kept his eyes on the blue, almost daring the creature to come at him again, this time he'd be ready.

Lypith let the rain splatter upon her hide and drip off it as if it were nothing. Storms were like a bath you didn't have to put any work into, they just happened and you could do other stuff while getting clean. Plus afterwards Alara would dry and oil her and that was always the most enjoyable. Oh! Maybe some of the little ones in the creche could help today, they liked to get to touch a dragon and she did not mind their curious hands upon her.

Hyweth didn't look like she was enjoying this hatching very much though. Lypith felt bad for her, this was a special day for the gold. She had no solution to this problem though. Hmm, Alara had always said a ... hug, made things better. Did Hyweth need ones of those? Her rider should offer one then lest Lypith have to do it herself.

Oh! Lookit the little green trying to play with the eggs, did she know the one in that egg, would it play as well? Hurry up and hatch so Lypith can meet you all.

The Pale Bronze was slowly digging himself a cave when a glint of bright colored egg emerged from the sand. The egg wiggled, but did not hatch. Hm. He'd have to find somewhere else!

Balchas's attention was drawn to the bronze, digging in the sands, what on earth was he doing? Balchas didn't know, he certainly couldn't see much...OH! a brightly colored shell, another hidden egg? How strange that Hyweth hadn't know they were there.

"As long as you don't faint," Wen replied quietly as he settled back into place and paused. Was the bronze digging? While, yes, he was. And there was a second egg that had been hidden in the sands. How strange.

Balchas had to stifle a chortle. "I'm pretty sure i won't faint" he gave the other candidate and amused smile before turning his attention back on the hatchlings, especially that annoying blue.

As she watched she made sure to keep an eye on the testy hatchlings so as to prevent any serious injuries. She watched as the blue stalked up to one of the candidates and bit his arm. Well then, she didn't see that one coming. She winced slightly because she knew it must hurt and then turned her attention to the frosted green trying to play with an egg.

She couldn't help but smile at that. She watched the bronze as he started digging and she watched as he found something and then moved elsewhere to make another hole and she realized there was an egg there. She looked around, how strange. Would it even impress since no one had touched it? She wondered what was hidden inside it's shell.

She looked over to Fiolen "Look what the bronze dragonet dug up." she said curiously. How strange that no one had seemed to know of it before now.

The bronze made his way to the group of boys. Covered in sand as he was, he looked almost comical as he did so. He gave a bugle of greeting. Hello! Hello, boys! Hello! Yes, one of these was his, he was sure of it, but which?
PostPosted: Mon Mar 17, 2014 2:05 pm

Well this was more like it, the Bronze was making his way over, covered in sand yes but at least now the bronze was making his way to the boys, he'd find his, perhaps even deter the blue from maulings, or maybe force the blue to Impress to his rider to keep the Bronze from coming near, the blue certainly didn't seem like he wanted to actually FIND his anytime soon.

He smiled at the bugles coming from the Bronze, enthusiasm was a good thing but he hoped the bronze didn't wear himself out and Between before finding His

(Phone post!)

Dianno watched apprehensively as two of the hatchlings made their way to the boys. He hadn't expected their size difference even out of the shell to be so pronounced, nor that they could be so loud! He eyed the bron. It didn't seem threatening but who new when that would change. Already candidates on both sides had been bloodied and the short trader boy had only just escaped the worst of their attentions himself. If he kept still and quiet they'd pass him riht by hopefully.

As is dragons weren't fo him. He wasn't even searched. He was only here because technically he was a resident of the weyr and expected to be. He looked at the bronze sideways. He was pretty sure that one was definitely not interested. Even if by some sadistic stroke of fate he was rider material.

Wen made a soft noise of disbelief at that answer before staring at the little bronze. Not his dragon. He loved Jemi, but they were very open with relationships and he liked other men too much to attract a bronze. Still, a very handsome looking dragon. He shook his head, and pushed his soak braid of hair back.

Silver Blue made a lap around the boys. None of them seemed to impress him in the least. He glanced at the sandy bronze. Clearly he was better than even that bronze. The blue looked back over the boys. He’d never find His this way. Resolutely he shoved his way back through the gathered boys. Coming up to Wen he stopped and put his muzzle up by the boy’s face, looking at him very very closely.

Across the sands, another egg wiggled. It seemed time for the Rusted Egg to make its move. It’s rocking seemed slow and hesitant. This was how one broke free right? After several more attempts that produced some cracks it wiggled more vigorously.
