"Pretty bad," admitted the boy. "I managed to get over to him before those jerks hurt him too badly, but they still got him." He finally looked back to Cameron with guilt. "He was bleeding badly, though. And... there were bruises everywhere."

"Do you remember what they looked like?" Cameron asked suddenly, gazing up at the ceiling. An indescribable fury filled his cyan irises as he stared up at the ceiling, an anger only a helpless parent hearing such news could muster. Helpless because he could do nothing but lay there and listen to how his only son was beaten to the point of broken bones and blood loss.
No.
He wasn't going to just lay here and take it! His body argued with him to stay down and continue regenerating, it almost succeeded with how heavy everything felt, it was like he was made of stone. His mind, however, was too strong. Gritting his teeth, Cameron slowly clenched a fist and used his arm to push himself up. His heavy body trembled with the restraints, he could feel all the organs regenerating come to an immediate halt, some even disintegrated!
It was painful, yes, but so was being able to do nothing for his son.

"I'm not going to lay here while my son's in pain!" Cameron yelled, not caring whether he was yelling at a child or one of his closest friends. With the movements reversing his regeneration process, the barely healed gash across his chest gradually reopened. The faded red that ran across it deepened until two drops of blood rolled down, yet despite this pain Cameron continued. He grit his teeth, the pain almost as numbing at the regeneration, but he forced his body to turn, and his legs dangled off the edge of the seat. Fingers curled at the edge of the bed, and with a push of willpower his feet hit the ground. Had the wall not have been so close to the bed Cameron would have collapsed instantly. A hand shot up as gravity and pain pulled him down and gripped the wall, propping him up. His legs bent, and gray-brown hair covered struggling eyes.

Hearing the threat against him, Cameron turned his head slightly so that the child could see the bloodthirsty yet insane eye that bulged from his brown-gray hair, a psychotic stare that could only be inherited from Dr. Decius. "I don't care." he said. Insanity began to pulse through him, focusing his mind with bloodlust and a thirst for revenge and invoking strength within his body. More red drops rolled down his chest, but the officer didn't seem to care. He pushed against the wall and forced a leg to move. There was a hard thump from his shoe landing on the ground, and with that success he repeated the process and took another step forward. The shade of his hair darkened the upper half of Cameron's face, except for that one psychotic eye that stared through everything in front of him. "Now tell me..." a sinister voice hissed. "What did those boys look like." The small pupil hidden in the wide eye darted down to stare at Daniel, and dead legs pushed him one step closer to him.

Cameron towered over Daniel, legs slightly bent and his back slumped, almost like a cliche zombie. His wide eye stared down at the boy that began to speak, but the small pupil shot over to Liam as he entered the scene. "Liam," that sinister tone uttered, though the high-pitched squeal of insanity was laced within it. "Don't woooorry about me, I'm doing much better." he said and gave his lover a psychotic smile that proved his relation to the doctor Liam had just visited. He moved to fully face the thinner male, and, as he smiled, he tilted his head and waved his hands up gleefully. "See? I can move again. I can kill again." His smile and his visible eye widened at the mention of killing, and his heavy arm moved to pull one of his treasured handguns from its holster. "Stay and rest, I'll take care of those nasty bullies." he grinned while happily waving the gun around.

Cameron leaned forward when Liam confronted him so that they could be eye level with each other. "Go on, hurt me! Here, I'll help!" he cackled as he swung the gun down to point it at his own temple. He smiled widely, not an ounce of fear in his eyes, but right as his finger lowered to pull that trigger he heard Liam mention the kids. The officer hesitated at that moment, his smile vanishing for a second and his wide eye looked to the gun that was slowly lowering.

The officer let his precious gun get taken from him as he listened to the doctor. Those words slowly began to calm the psychopath, and soon enough color returned to his face and his eyes grew tired. "... Yeah." he murmured as he looked down at his son, staring at the boy that slept so peacefully despite the bandages covering his body. "You know what?" Cameron mumbled while still staring at his son. "You take care of those kids. I don't living more than a day." he said as the weight of his body grew with each passing second.
