She snorted and waved a hand. "You don't have to apologize," she said, then flushed a bit. "If anything, I guess I should be the one apologizing for laughing at you," she said and fidgeted a bit. "So.....sorry, Pothos." She grinned when he said she had a nice face, too. "Thanks!"
With that, she stood up and dusted her dress off before offering him a hand up as the next dance was called. The Lindy Hop? What the hay was that? She watched the other dancers and hoped they knew what they were doing because she sure as zapapples didn't.

Pothos waved his hands at her mid worm as best he could. "Oh no no no its ok, I'm.. I'm sure I looked pretty silly." he said with a soft laugh. He had to admit he probably did look really.. really stupid. But hey, they had made it through another round and he could get off the floor now!
Giving a sigh of relief, he brushed himself off then glanced around at the other dancers. Lindy... hop... what... Oh goodness this was so fast pace... so many moves... He took her hand trying his best to copy the other dancers but he looked more like a chicken with its head cut off flailing around a poor fauny girl.
That probably wasn't the right move.... or that one..... and that move sure as heck didn't even exist...
"I'm so sorry!!" he wailed frantically.

Hiroki grinned at his dance partner.. they were still in this! As weird as the last dance he didn't think there would be worse. "Shall we continue?" he asked Phaenna and offered her his hand as the next song was announced and the music started. It was yet another dance he was not familiar with but he would try as best he could.

Naomi blinked, looking around. She had absolutely no idea what the Lindy Hop was. It sounded like some terrible fashion statement that she never wanted to see. But then, it looked like a few of the other pae around here knew what they were doing.
After a quick glance at the nearest couple, the brightly colored fae started something she thought looked and sounded better than a Lindy Hop. She called it the Naomi Glide. Laughing to herself, she knew it looked terrible compared to whatever it was they were supposed to be dancing to, but it was a lot more fun than.. Well that.
"This is great~" She laughed, truly having fun with it.

Lindy Hop. A dance she could get behind. "Come now Hiroki, follow my lead and do as I do!" A dance better coordinated but this would have to do. Mother should REALLY think about give them time to practice before hand! How was she suppose to impress the judges with no practice with her partner.

Minuette frowned as things started to pick up the pace. Oh sure, she was trying, but she was being to think she had two left hooves! "I'm sorry Iordanes...I don't think I'm much of a dancer." The poor fauny was seriously starting to doubt her abilities. "I wouldn't want you to loose because of me..."

Euphrosyne is delighted that she and Lucius had made it through so far! It had been difficult to rein herself in for the waltz, but the cha-cha-cha and the worm had been such fun! And now...the lindy hop? A grin pops onto Euphrosyne's face. "This'll be great," she says. She grabs Lucius' hands and pulls him onto the dance floor. The lindy hop is a fast, energetic dance with tons of wiggling and kicking and clapping. It might be that Euphrosyne's enthusiasm is contagious, or it might be her power working, but it's nearly impossible not to have a good time during this dance!

Iordanes can't move his feet nearly as quickly as can his sister Euphrosyne. He gets all tangled up, and winds up tripping a couple times. It's embarrassing, after how well he'd performed the cha-cha, but hopefully they wouldn't score the worst and would stay in for another day.
"No need to worry, my dear," he says with a smile nevertheless. After all, he wouldn't necessarily be the one to win, would he? The real winner was the mortal of the couple, who would be awarded with a date. Which, of course, was something he or any of his siblings could bestow freely on any they wished, but something about winning it made it more appealing, he supposes. "I'm happy just to be your partner."
