Chane gave in and curled as best he could around the larger stallion, resting his head on Seb's forelegs.
"I don't know what to think about you coming on to me... but, you're nice... I'm sure we'll be good friends..." The rest, well they'd wait to see about the rest.

"I'd like that," Seb replied, his tone genuine. He meant it 100 percent; he really would like to be Chane's friend.
Reaching over, he rested his own head over Chane's shoulders. More warmth for him, he explained to himself. They needed to keep warm, after all.

Feeling warm, and safer than he ever had as long as he remembered, Chane drifted off to sleep. He slept straight though until morning.
From inside the den, they would only be able to even tell that morning had come by the soft glow of light in the few places where the snow hadn't piled up thick enough to block it out entirely. The glow was like fireflies in the darkness.

When Seb first stirred awake, his assumption was that he was curled up with Lily. It was only as he blinked his eyes open that he realized things weren't quite right; the horse pressed up against his side felt nothing like his sister and the scent wasn't right. It took a second for his brain to process this, to remember who Chane was. Once it had though, he relaxed and even smiled.
He was so cute while he slept!

Chane was only dozing when Seb woke, so the larger stallion raised his head Chane curled closer, trying to compensate for the warmth. When it didn't return immediately, he opened his eyes, blinking even with the dim light.
"Has... has it stopped?"

"I'm not sure," Seb murmured, nodding toward the entrance. "The snow is piled up." He could've gotten up to look, but he didn't want to leave Chane's side.

"Oh," he didn't really want to move either. After a night of being this warm it would just hurt all the more when he went out into the cold. "Hmm..."

Seb eyed the entrance for a moment. "Well... I'm still kind of tired, and it's so nice and warm in here... How about you? Could you use a few more z's?"

"Yeah," that wasn't true at all, he really needed to get up and move his leg. But... even though he didn't want to admit it he wanted to spend more time with Sebastian.

Seb only dozed himself, but it was so nice to be curled up there with Chane. He didn't want it to ever stop.

When he woke again Chane knew he just had to get out and stretch his legs. He turned to the side, trying to pull a stick out from the side of the burrow.
