Oh- Those are really nice names!" She said as the corner of her mouth quirked upwards, "My name is Effie Wieck. Im a new student."
She looked down at her shoes, their usual gloss altered by the dirt of the field.
"I was the top of my class at my old school. Basically, I got bored so I decided to come here."

He smiles at the mention of her name "Effie.... Thats a beautiful name. Its very nice to meet you." He looks back towards the tree he was sitting at. "Would you like to join us Effie?"

She smiled fully and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
She picked up her bag and hung it over her shoulder.
"So what were you two doing before I so rudely interrupted?"

Jack HarkinsJack watched as the two conversed again and agreed with Alexander when he said that Effie was a nice name. Then he looked at his watch seeing that an hour had passed. He gulped and said, "Actually, I have to go. I've been away from where I was for an hour, and I was supposed to go back." He waved at them and said, "It was nice meeting both of you, but I must go." He walked quickly away to the dorm. {Exit to Dorm 0168} ()

Alexander walks back to the tree and sits down in the exact same spot he qas in. "We were just getting to know each other. And its fine you didn't interrupt us." His thoughts are still on what Jack had said before effie had arrived.

~ ~~~ ~ Effie watched as Jack walked off into the building, and shuffled to join Alexander.
She noticed that Alexander was deep in thought.
"What are you thinking about?"
She sat next to him, propping her bag up on the side of the tree.

Alexander turned his head and looked towards Effie an smiled. "Oh its nothing.... I just space out sometimes." "So where are you from Effie?" He asked as he inspected her.

~ ~~~ ~ Effie stretched her bare legs out in the shade of the tree, looking intently on the sky.
"I understand. Sometimes I space out, too. Anyways, I'm from this little town near the border. There weren't many challenges for me out there, so I decided to enroll here. I cant exactly say its the worst decision I've ever made."
She glanced over at him before she rested her head back onto the tree, before tracing her fingertips along it's exposed roots.
She peeled back a tiny piece of bark and slipped it into her pocket as a keepsake before she closed her eyes and waited for Alexander's response.

Alexander rested his head against the tree and said. "Well you will surely be challenged here." He tries to focus on the conversation but his thoughts are still gripped by what Jack said. He throws his hands to to the side of him and limply lets his arms hit the ground. "Honestly i am quite tired of this place. I have been here fir to long."

~ ~~~ ~ "Why would you say that?" She questioned him quietly, trying not to seem too upfront with her curiosity.
"From what I've seen so far, the people are pretty nice. Plus, you seem like a pretty smart guy. The classes shouldn't be too hard. At least, I think."
She turned towards him slightly, brushing her messy bangs back along her forehead.

Alexander turns his head to face towards her. "The classes is are quite simple. Its just boring." He looks down at his hands as they begin to shake. "Plus with no one to be proud of the work you have done i really feel as if there is no point in the whole charade." His clenches his hands into fists as they still shake.

~ ~~~ ~ Effie's eyes widened slightly as she noticed him getting upset.
She watched quietly as his hands started shaking and a sprinkling of sweat dotted his forehead.
"Are you okay?" she asked him quietly "If it makes you feel better I'm proud of what you've done. If you scrounged up the courage to stay somewhere you dont want to be then you have a lot more courage than I do."
She knelt beside him and grabbed his hand, trying to stop the shaking as gently as she could.
"The only one you should be trying to make proud is yourself. If you're not proud of yourself than really... what's the point?"
She gave him a slanted half-smile, hoping that her words would calm him down at least a little bit.

Alexanders eyes opened as he felt effie's gentle embrace. "Thank you Effie. Your sweet." He sighs deeply. "Buts not courage that has kept me here these past few years. I have nowhere else to go is all. I was orphaned a few years back after my parents deaths, and since that day i have been a social outcast." His whole body begins to tremble as he envisions the gruesome night.
